New Day Place LLC – Bolingbrook

If I could give them negative stars I would.. I went here years ago and at that time they had really bad reviews on here with a lot of patients saying "I left worse then I came in." I see they clearly paid google to… remove those reviews which is why I'm going to make one, and yes I will repost this when this gets removed as well. When I initially went there and asked the manager what time they open he said 6am (Standard opening time for every clinic) which was great because, like many of you, I needed to work and had to be at work at 8:30am. I came in the next day bright and early at 6am... doors locked. I rang the doorbell, knocked and even called their phone many times to no avail. I sat in the parking lot waiting for TWO HOURS! They finally opened right around 8:15am so I was incredibly late to work but if I don't dose that hurts my sobriety which is what I'm here for! What was the managers reasoning? The same thing they posted in response to a comment below, "We can not open to the public for one person when 99% of our patients are not coming until after 8am of the day." 99% of their patients, which I mind you is only about 10-20 people, don't show up until 8am-8:45am because they know the nurse doesn't show up until then! Who would show up earlier just to sit in a parking lot for hours everyday? The other half of patients, that work early in the day, are forced to leave as soon as they find that out. Now, the nurse told me something very different.. that they don't pay her overtime and that's why she will not work the full shift and shows up late. Occasionally, if you're lucky, the owner will dose you himself in his back office if the nurse is not showing up and you have to leave. He did it for myself and two of my friends who went there a couple times. They also only had ONE counselor there when I went who quit within a month and the rest of the time I was there I never had a professional counselor to speak with. Myself, like MANY of you who are trying to better ourselves and have a stable job end up leaving as soon as they enter because they can't make it to work on time with this clinic and are forced to choose work or sobriety if they stay with them. There are a TON of really great clinics in the area that don't just view you as a paycheck and care about your physical and mental health. Two I would recommend is CAP of Downers Grove (They have HUNDREDS of patients compared to 10-20 which that alone says something), they open on time (Actually if you are incredibly early worker you can get permission to come as early as 5:30am there, they have three nurses, three doctors, about 10 counselors and they CARE. Another awesome clinic is Stonybrook of Wheaton. A little bit smaller than CAP (Still have a couple hundred patients), but an AMAZING team of nurses, managers, counselors that are there for you and will do everything they can to make sure you succeed (Oh and they also open on time!). Like I said, I know the comment is deleted now, but when I went to this clinic one of the many bad comments that really stood out to me was "I left worse then I came in." and unfortunately the same thing happened to me.. Thankfully I found an amazing clinic that has been there for me and I have been sober for a year! I want the same for all of you.

New Day Place has been very accommodating for myself and my wide. They provide individualized treatment to patients with dignity and respect. They follow best practices and the Federal Treatment Guidelines and have… received CARF certification. We have been coming here for over two years now, and any time we have had a question or a concern, they resolve it right away. I can not say enough about how grateful I am for Mr. Dada and Nurse Bola. They are very compassionate people, and I don't think my wife would be here today, if not for their help and understanding in providing my wife's treatment.

They are unprofessional. they say they open at 5am which they open after 7:30 and they have no concealers during the week. AVOID ATT ALL COSTS!!!!!
