Community Services Associates – Portage

Mr. Avenash is my therapist over several weeks or months I have been able to see growth in my mental health healing process. It is good to have such a caring person to talk to. He is patient and understanding. The flow… is good and he let's me be me. Sometimes I color or fidget and he is great at giving words of encouragement. He really provides a positive experience. Becky and Vicky are great Assistants and they are friendly and attentive. Really good experiences had here would give 10 stars but 5 is the limit.

They are the most professional and listen to all my needs. I have a wonderful person for me there and there staff is great.

The staff at the Paquette Center are absolutely wonderful and so easy to work with. Everyone is welcoming, caring, and truly makes you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. The therapists have been amazing —… compassionate, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. You can tell they genuinely care about their clients and want the best for them. I’m very grateful for the support and positive experience I’ve had here. Highly recommend to anyone looking for caring and professional services!

Almost sent to jail a year after everything I needed to do was done all because they didn’t send paperwork to the dmv within a YEAR!! I know Columbia county makes you go here for court ordered but if there is anyway to… stay away do it!!! Very pathetic

I do not recommend this place I did not get any of the help that I needed I was told my therapist wasn't going to be in I canceled those rides I'm legally blind and can't drive that I got a letter in the mail without… warning from my therapist that they dropped me knowing that I'm going through a lot of problems and I am not being treated for any of it very nose in the air uppity place I don't recommend it

I encountered a negative experience with a former receptionist; however, I am legally restricted from providing further details. The replacement has proven to be exceptional. Furthermore, my therapist has expressed… positive feedback, and we have established a strong rapport. This has facilitated significant progress in addressing past trauma, ultimately leading to a sense of normalcy.

If you have the ability to go anywhere else, definitely do so!

Shameful really, I was denied a medical procedure based on the owner,Tom Hayes determination that my expectations for pain relief were too high. It is painfully obvious that this man does not have the proper continued… education. I have contacted a lawyer for possible malpractice. EDIT *I received the procedure through other means and guess what? 98% of my pain is gone!!* This place is and ABSOLUTE JOKE!!

Psychiatric nurse was not responsive to concerns about meds and discharged me after I had to cancel due to no insurance. I trusted them to help and they didn't address any of my concerns.

6 therapists in 6 months. 4 quit Pauquette. Two before we even had our initial meeting. The other two were just amateur and not good at being therapists

For the first time in my life I have willing accepted counseling for ADOA and my experience for the Pauquette Center is as follows. - Counselor was repeatedly late to meetings and in one instance didn't show up at all.… The center has a three strike policy and this counts as one strike. - Discussions covered seemed to be random and seldomly covered AODA issues. - There were many miscommunications in scheduled appointments. All in all the councilors were friendly and polite, however, friendly and polite are secondary traits that should be found in a AODA councilor, I personally look for a councilor that addresses underlying issues and challenges my ways of thinking,

Reception NEVER answers the phone, I am always redirected to leave a voicemail and often it is not returned promptly. I absolutely love my therapist who has helped me make amazing progress (in comparison to several… others who have tried & failed before) Unfortunately the way the phone system/reception is set up makes it very frustrating and inconvenient. Other than that, I feel that my therapist (Susan) is amazing, Thank you for your hard work, & dedication.

I have received excellent care from many providers at Pauquette. They have worked together to find the best treatment plan for me. Receptionists have always been helpful and friendly. They have made me feel that they… truly do care.

Horrible place! Receptionist was rude and unhelpful. Should be helpful since they are in this type of business.

Reception (condescending, poorly trained and/or computer problems) Scheduling (long lead time for appointments)(If you think you might harm yourself or others - please call a different provider) Billing accuracy… (strange application of payments, discarded payments from online billpay, antiquated billing system. difficult to get in touch with) Mental health professionals (very good)

Therapist late to appointment 5 times in a row. So I left

Had to go here to get approved for a pain surgery. Didn't make sense. They explained it to me and helped me through some things before getting the surgery. Super helpful and now I have a new resource to battle my pain.

Terrible. Like most places, they're in it for the money. They don't care about you, or your life, you're just another paycheck to them. The owner is ridiculous and doesn't know how to respond to reviews unless they're 5… star, otherwise he copies and paste the same thing from years ago. This company is a fake and the owner is a sham, wish it would get shut down because they've done more harm than good.

If you need to get a driver safety plan done, dont go to the pauquette center.

Great! I love going to see John Schultz, even when nothing is going on in my life he helps me become a better person everytime. I have learned so much there, not only in my own life but to help others, and mostly help… my children. I would recommend this place to everyone. You also get back what you give it. People think talking top someone makes them weak and crazy, but honestly it makes you so much stronger and wiser.
