BHG Brainerd Treatment Center – Brainerd

I’ve been here for 6 years and I’m on my way tapering down with the program but I just had to leave a review because there’s a reason BHG Brainerd is ranked one of if not the highest MAT clinic. They care. Sounds corny… but they do. I could have failed multiple times but they don’t even let that enter your head. The lines are quick ( unless coming back from a holiday or if you get there in the morning right when they open) for the most part there quick. Counselors that they have care and the phase up’s can be quick depending on you. If you pass your monthly UAs then you will be at once a week in no time. This is the best place in Minnesota.

I have experienced an amazing group in IOP. Sammie runs a fantastic group, and she is super sweet & supportive. We are also very supportive of one another and have formed good bonds here in group 🙂

I go to this place and I love it so much cuz it is a good place to be. Also the program helps me and my husband. It's safe. Meeting with new people that are very nice,kindly,friendly, and helpful. The staffs are very… perfesonal and very helpful to the clients. They Are not nonracist and seems like everyone knows each other and this program is helps other people if they want to change their lives or change. Helps people that they want to change or if you want to make it work for yourself then you can do it for yourself to get better. Day by day hour by hour minutes by minute. Year by year or what the 12th steps says you can work with it if you want to make work. Ayee!! Lol 😆 This program is a good place to start a new step for our life, thats the relationship with the only person that is in my life and heart soulmates. I been going to this place for 10 years now I don't have any issues bout this place.

My experience being in this Clinic has been its shares of ups and downs but more up than anything I have had a very good counselor who has definitely made me hold myself accountable. Yes, there is people that have had… relapses or consistent dirty uas but there is accountability among all of the staff counselors included that will say something whether it's your counselor or a nurse it does not get left unsaid. They have made a major turnaround in that clinic from when I first started there to where it is now. The new owner has been doing an amazing job with that place and I am incredibly grateful to have a place like this to go to. Its suites my needs. The new turnaround has made me feel more comfortable and wanting to go in. This Clinic needs to get more credit, it deserves more than what they're given that's for sure.!!!! Also they have accommodated me everytime I've needed some extra leeway in any situation that I was in that required it. Thank you BHG and Staff.

great place

You can literally get high on anything every day and pee hot every single test (not just a relapse) and still dose every day. It isn't about the person it's about the money as long as MN MA is covering it no one gets… better and they won't kick you out of the program either. There is no incentive or accountability to even try to get better. A few phone calls to the Office of the Inspector General and the MN heath insurance fraud helpline has lead me in the right direction. Just waiting for the fallout.

I called made appointment on a Monday. I was there most of the day. But i got started on it 3yrs ago. They started me out at 5-Mg, The counlers are very nice, and helpful. The Receptionist are So Nice!! They keep the… inside & outside of the clinic Very Nice & Clean. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is struggling with addiction. I believe it has saved my girlfriend from her own addiction and over doses.

Mary is amazing! She basically saved my life! Shantel and Joe and super friendly and go above and beyond to help make visits as easy and smooth as possible. Marie and Amy (nurses) really know their stuff and care about… their patients. I highly recommend Valhalla (now BMC or something like that). Follow the rules of the program and everything will go smoothly for you. My life is a complete 180 from before I started going to Valhalla.

Troy working Brainerd was looking at my girlfriends pictures in her phone and keeping her after hours...punishing her with not getting her the right medical treatment needed if not going on long with his flirtation and… over aggressive behavior.. This man should definitely be monitored and be reprimanded..

Good staff.. great counselors.. sometimes the wait is a little much compared to the cities... But overall this is a good place!
