Having been associated with Darci for several years, I can vouch for her professionalism and natural empathy. Her ability to listen, relate, see the heart of the matter, and put others to ease is apparent within moments… in a conversation with her. Darci is supportive and totally dedicated to the success of her clients. In addition, I have been very impressed with her tenacity and willingness to endure, preserver and even sacrifice to do the right thing, give others the support they need, and insure the best of those who rely on her and her team. The world is a better place because she is in it and I would highly recommend her and her practice to anyone seeking quality, qualified and deeply invested support.

I wanted to write about Darci - she was my counselor several years ago I guess before she started this company. She was no help to me while I was going through one of the most painful traumatic experiences of my life.… As a counselor she did her job so poorly, she was not equipped nor trained on dealing with complex and traumatic issues, however still decided to meet with me instead of doing the right thing. In fact she would put words in my mouth, telling me how I actually felt and ultimately making me feel like I was to blame. I wish I had my current therapist at the time because it would’ve saved me a lot of wasted energy, heartache, time and money. I truly hope that if she is still a therapist that she has improved… I’m genuinely concerned that she has her own practice.

I work with Tooele Valley Counseling on a professional level, and also have had one of my children do therapy with Darci. Darci and her team provide top class services with all clients. They help clients reach their… needed goals and help them learn needed life coping skills. I highly recommend Tooele Valley Counseling as they are all great in their ways and provide excellent therapeutic services.

Darci is creating a power house team of clinicians that are going to provide you with quality care. They are innovative mental health fighters who are going to motivate you reach your goals. I continue to be amazed on… how Darci is leads her team. She is a sincere leader who's determined to create systems that will provide the best care for all. Did not have a good experience here with therapist Misty. I honestly wasn't sure if she was in therapy, or I was. She talked about herself constantly. Without knowing me well, or my life experiences, she voluntarily… voiced opinions about choices she made in her life. How these choices were a mistake and if she had the chance to go back she would do it differently. I came for death grief therapy and she immediately wanted to jump into childhood trauma therapy. She showed me a very poorly done, childish, power point presentation that she warned me, multiple times, would elicit a traumatic and emotional response. It was terrible and when it was over, she asked me how it made me feel, was I sad or feeling upset. I told her no, and she immediately came to the conclusion that I had no residual childhood trauma. It just doesn't work that way...

The therapists and staff all come together to give the best possible support to families and especially adolescent children. If you're in the Tooele area and need a great counselors, I highly recommend Tooele Valley… Counseling.

My therapist Misty was nice bit their billing practices ridiculous. When I was looking into seeing one of their therapist's I asked how much they charge. I was told that it all depends on what your insurance will cover,… but once they bill the insurance they will let me know how much my part will be. I was then charged over $500 to my account in 2 days. When I spoke with Cami who is in charge of their billing I was told that each of their therapist's charge $180 per session. My insurance paid $60 leaving $125 as my portion each session. I have never been charged so much for therapy. And the fact that the charged me for 4 sessions within 2 days, without any bill or explanation of the charges is ridiculous.

Darci is a wonderful counselor who devotes her time and energy into understanding her clients concerns and offers insightful solutions and options.

Thought I would leave a review For this wonderful woman. It takes a little something deep down in all of us , for us to really want to change, or for us to accept the help That we never have once been offered. Or maybe… the help that we have been offered just not in the right way. This women Darci, not only saved my life but showed me the water and gave me the choice weather to drink it or to infect it. I drank it on my own, but only because I was shown how. Only because I was shown that yeah I can have the right mindset but a good mindset with bad habits only lead to destruction. I was shown then that in order to be the real me, I have to change my habits and the way I do things. Darci got involved as far as my program would let her, and for that i thank her and will do anything for her. I grew up growing through hundreds of programs, lockup, therapist, and it all truly changed when I met somebody who actually cared. That person was darci.

Darci is as good as it gets!! Not only is she easy to talk to but, she has the most genuine love for anyone who meets her. She is very thoughtful and listens to anything and everything you have to say. I appreciate all… she does!
