About Meridian Advanced Psychiatry – Meridian
Meridian Advanced Psychiatry operates from 1672 South Woodsage Avenue in Meridian. The site sits in Ada County, which shapes which public funding routes apply. Nearby communities include Eagle and Kuna. Idaho draws people across long distances for treatment, so travel time is worth weighing against waiting time.
Outpatient care is delivered here, alongside medication-assisted treatment, telehealth appointments and care for co-occurring mental health conditions. Which level fits depends on the assessment rather than on what is available, so the useful first question is what that assessment involves.

Treatment Services at Meridian Advanced Psychiatry
Outpatient care runs to a set weekly schedule, with evenings and weekends spent at home. That suits people holding down work or caring responsibilities, though it asks more of someone managing early recovery alone. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.
Buprenorphine and naltrexone are available and paired with counseling rather than prescribed alone. Trauma-specific services run alongside, which matters where the two are tangled together. Co-occurring mental health conditions are treated in the same building rather than split across providers.

Meridian Advanced Psychiatry Address, Location and Contact Information
The address is 1672 South Woodsage Avenue, Meridian, ID 83642, in Ada County. The catchment reaches Eagle and Kuna. Confirm what a program covers before traveling in, since the level of care listed is not always the level with capacity.
Telehealth appointments cover some contact where travel is difficult, which removes part of the journey for people further out. Ask what a first appointment involves and how long the current wait runs before making the trip. Waiting times vary with capacity, so call ahead rather than arriving unannounced.

My son uses this office and it's horrible. NO ONE, and I mean NO ONE EVER answers the phone. It's ridiculous. Now I can say, my son no longer uses this office. If they don't want to do their job, get out of the business.
I haven't used them in 3 months I paid my bill 3 months ago why do you keep sending me bills I dont use your doctor's office because your rude and I paid in cash and you sent me the bill online so i stopped going here… im just sick of hearing from you guys a bunch of crooks
Very professional and kind and made sure I had all my questions answered. Would highly recommend this place
Watch out! FYI! Doctors here more about your CASH than your well being. Receptionist needs to learn some empathy. Maybe you should have Patch Adams running continuously in the reception area.
Unreliable, unprofessional, unqualified. I’ve been with the same psychiatrist for over 3 years now, and she is mediocre during visits, however she rushes each appointment I have. She has been very unsafe regarding… tapering off of meds, ie TELLING ME to go cold turkey off of meds that can cause seizures if stopped abruptly, especially at the dosage I was at. I have to look up meds that might work for me as opposed to her managing meds and working with me. She rarely sends in all of my medications, and the largest problem with MAP is the communication, or lack thereof. I expect to be on hold when trying to contact this grossly incompetent office for at least 10-15 minutes each time I call regarding the medications my psychiatrist did NOT send in, and it’s rare I actually get through to someone after waiting those 10-15 minutes on hold, being sent to voicemail. This has led to me running completely out of serious psych meds which are either detrimental to my mental health or outright dangerous. I’m so sick of this whole business and the lack of communication, and borderline malpractice. I’d love to transfer to a different company but the waitlists are so long that I feel it useless to try to switch.
I had a good experience with meeting Sam for first time. He put me at ease which I get a little nervous the first time in what I will say. The office was attractive and the one checking me in was nice.
MAP has gone down hill since they expanded. We use to see Kyle and we have been pushed off to several other people now since he reduced his hours. We have to constantly chase down their staff for anything particularly… insurance billing issues. They are not open on Fridays, which now put us in a horrible situation today because MAP did not follow through on a prior approval needed on a critical medication that you have to be on and cannot miss a dose. Now we are forced to pay 177 dollars for the medication and hope we can get reimbursed. If there was another place we could go to we would. Unfortunately there are very few options.
I've only had one appointment so far so I can only judge one experience but I must say I was so very comfortable with the reception staff and most especially my new psychiatrist we call him Sam and he is fantastic and… everyone is and so for a very first appointment and a new beginning I'm excited
I can truly say that my initial visit with Sam was life changing. When I walked out I felt better than I have in as long as I can remember. And that was only the first visit.
This office is horrible and does not answer their phones. When I called to reschedule my appointment in the morning due to a medical emergency, they would not answer their phone and then 30 minutes before my appointment… I was contacted and asked to called them back. When I tried to call them back I could not get through to them to which I did leave a voicemail after waiting over 10 minutes. When they called me back, I told them I was frustrated and asked how it was okay to do this and they immediately put me on hold then proceeded to tell me they were busy all day. I have been to their office for over a year and every time I check in, they are not busy and ignore the phones and just chat among themselves. I do not recommend this office to anyone as they are not timely and do not treat their patients well. On top of everything else that I’ve experienced with them, one of the providers I was seeing would constantly ask me about my sex life and we talked about my meds for maybe 5 minutes for a 30 minute appointment. That was incredibly unprofessional and made me uncomfortable. When I spoke with the front desk staff about it after an appointment they dismissed it. I am beyond disappointed in this office and do not recommend this office to anyone. Meridian advanced psychiatry needs to do better.
Kyanne Wright has been the most helpful, knowledgeable, and available member of my medical team. I have ALWAYS received call backs and am generously greeted when I'm in person by the front office and medical… assistants!!! I praise the Lord for MAP and eapecially for Kyanne Wright's support through so many health concerns over the past 3 years! I have already recommended MAP to several loved ones! I can honestly say, "God leads this girl along," through the services provided and attention given by MAP.
The tools MAP has to test for ADHD are incredible. They have done so much to help my family.
My med doctor and the staff are always very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend MAP to anyone struggling cause my doctor helped me turn my life around.
I highly Reccomended Kyanne wright, I came to her after being referred I was told she gets to the root cause vs prescribing many medications that weren’t needed like many other doctors do. I came to her after being… misdiagnosed & misprescribed medications for 10 years, I was being told I was bipolar yet kept on a medication that made me act bipolar because it causes impulsive behaviors called rexulti for over 8 years I was told it would “keep me all together” yet it made me a wreck, thankfully a doctor finally caught that & took me off of it but I was then put on lithium a second time when I was never bipolar & it made me worse & I responded to it how it would affect someone who isn’t bipolar yet it couldn’t be explained why I needed to be kept on it other than insurance covering it & was also told I didn’t respond to medications like other bipolar patients, is when I knew I needed another opinion she explained I had only had emotional reactions to abuse which is a normal emotional response for anyone this was when I was 18 when I originally got misdiagnosed she described to me about cptsd on which I had been previously diagnosed for a few years & how that’s all I’ve ever had going on vs bipolar & what bipolar looks like in someone & both types we’re nothing I had experienced before. Not only did Kyanne know all the symptoms of ptsd & there’s many she explained to me more about it that I didn’t know in terms of how it looks & comes across. I finally woke up & had stopped taking lithium & my antidepressant before I came to her for a while & that was the first time I took control & stopped medication myself before seeing Kyanne & had finally been feeling the best & happiest I ever had in many years so we just kept things the same since it was working great for me. Since then I’ve been able to make small but huge changes in my life & I finally like who I am & my decisions & it’s a ripple affect. I’ve healed relationships in my family, set more boundaries with people, it’s been easier to be more mindful when trying to eat healthier, I’ve gotten the closest to God I ever have been now that I can actually feel my emotions & am working out again too plus sleeping without any medication for the first time in a decade which I never thought was possible. I’m Doing things I always talked about wanting to do but never felt capable or well enough to do, I couldn’t improve for years when on so many other medications I didn’t need & was taking all the accountability & blaming myself in counseling every 2 weeks for many years & not making any progress not knowing that entire time that I wasn’t able to make more changes because of being misprescribed not because I wasn’t capable of improving myself. It’s amazing what is possible when you finally have support & your heard, I’m so beyond thankful to have found an amazing educated & genuinely caring doctor like her. It had been hard to find someone in the medical field that genuinely cared about what’s best for me vs just prescribing medications not concerned about the negative affects on my mind body & everyday life & I’m so thankful to have found someone who genuinely cares about her patients. If your looking for a doctor to get to the root of whatever your struggling with & not over Medicate or misdiagnose I recommend kyanne highly. The staff here are also very friendly & welcoming even just over the phone, I highly recommend MAP & Kyanne & very thankful for them!
Jarrod is the best!!! Very helpful and kind, the environment is friendly the minute you walk in I appreciate everyone in the office.
Front desk was very friendly and helpful. My provider is the best and I feel she has my best interest at heart
Exceptional staff. Everyone was very kind and friendly. I worked with Jarrod Crump who was thorough, shared quality information, made suggestions as to treatment, always allowing me to make decisions. I feel very… confident that I will be quite happy with my treatment.
I highly highly recommend MAP. Especially Elizabeth Purcell. Everyone I have worked with has been super nice, knowledgeable, willing to listen and willing to do research. I appreciate them a huge amount. The head… manager is also lovely.
I am well pleased with MAP and how they have handled me.
I’ve seen multiple providers through this company over the years and everyone is extremely nice. They are thoughtful and well educated, and have always done their best to personalize my treatment to fit me best. Overall… I would recommend
It’s been a great experience, my provider is caring and makes me feel like I’m not in it alone. Can be hard to contact them although they have a few different channels of communication. Other than that they have… exceeded my expectations. Update a couple years later still love em. Love my provider Elizabeth is awesome. Has really supported me through transitioning off of all my medications. Knowing she’s got my back has been incredible.
I recommend these guys to everyone. They’ve helped me so much, I truly feel like a real person for maybe the first time in my life. I had so many misdiagnosed issues that Jarrod was able to cut through and find the… truth. We found a medication that works for me, and now I finally feel like I can operate like everybody else, and that’s one of the best feelings I’ve ever had. The whole staff is fantastic, but I’ve specifically had an amazing experience with Jarrod Crump.
