The admission department was very helpful and friendly. The young lady took the extra time to show me where I needed to go. She even walked me to Laboratory where I would get my blood drawn. It was my first time at… Paradise Valley Hospital and it got confusing where I need to be.
This is by far the worst hospital experience I have ever encountered in my life. I came in with chest pain and was told I had nothing more than a contusion. I was then sent through a machine that clearly stated NOT to… go through it if you have a pacemaker. I have a pacemaker So I specifically questioned this, and I was told to go ahead because it wouldn’t hurt me. About a week later, I returned because I was still in significant pain. Instead of taking my continued pain seriously, I was told to stop complaining, that it was “just a contusion,” and that I would be fine if I took aspirin or Tylenol. I eventually went to Sharp Chula Vista for a second opinion. They took X-rays and discovered that I had four broken ribs. How do you miss FOUR broken ribs and call it a bruise? I am beyond disappointed and frustrated by the lack of attention and care I received. A patient should not have to seek a second opinion just to find out they have multiple broken ribs. Honestly, the level of care was so unacceptable that I have to ask: Where did they get their licenses—out of a Cracker Jack box? I will never return to this hospital, and I strongly encourage them to take a serious look at how they are evaluating and listening to their patients.
Paradise Hospital has saved my life twice in the past. This time they were as professional as usual and all the staff treated me well and like a friend. I would like to personally thank Doctor Ross and Doctor Hairston… for their personal care and remembering me from last visit in 2019. The first person I talked to must have noticed something was wrong and called me in the triage room and started taking my vitals. I don't know her name but, I thank her as well.
The nurses are super nice and the doctor was ever so cool. All in all. The staff was really friendly and helpful my nurse was Javier and the morning I got to meet Him he was super nice. I did have a small fear of… needles, Javier walk me through it. The doctor was super kind very understanding and staff in the ER center. It’s nice to hear them laughing having a good time just in general, good spirits, great spirits I rarely go to the ER and mostly every time I go to the ER I always have great encounters. I hope Javier and the staff get to hear from this. You guys are wonderful and amazing. My name is David Garcia. I thank you so much.
Went in for a simple ear infection on Labor Day. Staff was super kind and patient with my toddler and got us in and out in less than an hour!!
From the moment I arrived with my son, they were incredibly attentive. Because it was a long weekend, they gave him antibiotics and ear drops right there, since the doctors wouldn't be back until Tuesday. I took him… Friday afternoon and was only there for 2 hours and 30 minutes. They even did chest x-rays! People speak badly of the place, saying it's old, but I went to Sharp and was there for 4 hours, and his arms were completely purple just from the blood, and the other from the IV. 🤦🏽♀️
I got there around 9.am they weren't i was seen with in an hr and got the help I needed quickly and I recommend the hospital.
Staff are courteous and professional
Every time I've been to this hospital, the care has been excellent. I'm grateful to all the doctors, nurses, and staff here for their concern for the health of every patient who comes here.

Dr. Ross and my nurse Travis were very nice.
My visit today Saturday 8/22/26 in Paradise Valley Hospital was excellent, Dr. Jalali MD is kind and caring, Nurse Caroline attentive and observant, I can not remember the EMT name she told me she just joined the… hospital staff and the Radiology Tech, Respiratory Tech and the Phlebotomy Tech, EVS Lead Cristina and EVS TECH Anabelle, triage nurses and admitting Rep all excellent, polite and caring Thank you to all the the PVH Emergency room staff.
This is not a place for people to come to you have a choice to go to any other hospital go please take it from me do not come to paradise valley hospital because they don't have the patient concerns they also feed you… what they want you to have i have posted pictures of what they feed me in stead of what I asked for i also sent pictures but it wasn't sent it want allow them to post
Because this is a for profit hospital, they charge significantly more than say Scripts a not for profit hospital. It a much older facility with far less amintey yet charge more than other hospitals.
Every one was very helpful and patient ✨️
Mrs Daniela is so nice sweet and kind she's a social worker here she's wonderfully sweet thank you the best give her a raise she's the reason this hospital is getting a 5 star rating I love this place

Don't come to this hospital they suck. I had a seizure an for some reason these guys want to assume that I'm a psycho and keep me there for days. These guys made up lies and made me stay an extra 2 days. My mom and dad… wanted to pick me up but the hospital forced me to stay. Worst hospital ever.
I was amaze all employees did excellent job when i got transferred to emergency room so ambulance crew great job thank you
Great doctor..nurses 👍 👌 5Stars
Paradise Valley Hospital has consistently provided excellent care whenever my son has needed mental health treatment. Having a dedicated behavioral health unit has been extremely important to our family. Although the… building itself may not be as modern as some other hospitals, the quality of care my son has received has always been exceptional. The nurses are attentive, responsive, and communicate clearly throughout the entire process. Supporting a son through mental health challenges can be incredibly stressful, but knowing that he is in capable and compassionate hands gives me a great sense of comfort and relief. I am truly grateful for the care and support the staff has provided.
Great doctors, nurses, and staff. Like any ER it does take time but they made me feel very comfortable and taken care of.
The employees who assisted on my needs Are helpful and respectful. They know their job
I had the best nurse staff on the 4th floor that took care of me everything was explained clearly
Nurse was caring and listened to me. Saw a specialist that same day within an hour. I had a good experience. Would definitely recommend.
Run away if you got Dr. Richard Obler as your Physician. He said he’s a doctor duh 🙄 a no empathy being. His nurse ZT who evaluated me agreed that I’m having a mild concussion, what did you do? Thats not a Dr. that’s… your EGO. You discriminating patients you even don’t know I was a BSN, Don’t risk your precious life to GO HERE! quack Dr. Obler Doesn’t know the levels types of Concussion and when it appears. My head broke this window from the impact. Diagnosed it as a boil/Bump🤦♀️I told him if I could get MRI cuz it’s my precious 🧠 my insurance covers it all but he resist, “it’s a necessary you don’t have cancer” it’s my body sir! Don’t ever go here. Workers here doesn’t have empathy. I can read energies cuz I’m a superempath. I hope he gets into accident like mine and His Dr. says , it’s just a bump while experiencing concussion symptoms. And I got Occupational Accident Insurance that covers $1,000,000 . He told me I can return to work in 2days? Do you think the Car will be repaired in 2 days????! This Hospital doesn’t have empathy. Heartless Hospital 🏥 doesn’t think the whole situation. I feel nauseous, drowsy, irritated, about to vomit, feeling of out of balanced, confused. DR. Obler said I’m a Dr. 🤦♀️This is serious this is my brain. What are these symptoms? Just a Bump???! TAKE CARE YOUR LIFE DONT GO HERE!!! I actually told my grandpa if something happened to me. Not to put me there ever. You didn’t help my brain 🧠 to recover from the CAR ACCIDENT. TREAT YOUR PATIENTS LIKE YOUR FAMILY NOT LIKE A DOG. I would release the video of my friend of how you guys treat your patients.
