About Anglez Behavioral Health – Augusta

Anglez Behavioral Health operates from 841 Riverside Drive in Augusta. The site sits in Kennebec County, which shapes which public funding routes apply. The practical catchment runs wider than the city limits, taking in people who travel in rather than finding care on their doorstep.

Intensive outpatient and outpatient care are delivered here, alongside medication-assisted treatment, telehealth appointments and care for co-occurring mental health conditions. Which level fits depends on the assessment rather than on what is available, so the useful first question is what that assessment involves.

Treatment Services at Anglez Behavioral Health

Intensive outpatient and outpatient care run to a set weekly schedule, with evenings and weekends spent at home. That suits people holding down work or caring responsibilities, though it asks more of someone managing early recovery alone. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Buprenorphine and naltrexone are available and paired with counseling rather than prescribed alone. Co-occurring mental health conditions are treated in the same building rather than split across providers. Assessment decides the level of care, so ask what that involves and how quickly it can happen.

Anglez Behavioral Health Address, Location and Contact Information

The address is 841 Riverside Drive, Augusta, ME 04330, in Kennebec County. Confirm what a program covers before traveling in, since the level of care listed is not always the level with capacity. It is worth checking which entrance to use and where parking sits before a first appointment.

Telehealth appointments cover some contact where travel is difficult, which removes part of the journey for people further out. Ask what a first appointment involves and how long the current wait runs before making the trip. Waiting times vary with capacity, so call ahead rather than arriving unannounced.

How Much Does Treatment at Anglez Behavioral Health Cost?

Rehab paid for privately in Maine typically costs $3,000 to $10,000 a month for an intensive outpatient program and $1,300 to $5,000 a month for standard outpatient care. That is a guide only, as published prices for Anglez Behavioral Health were not found at the time of writing.

Standard inclusions are the intake assessment, group therapy and individual counseling. It is fair to assume Anglez Behavioral Health works the same way, but that is an assumption. Ask the facility which therapies and medications cost extra.

Anglez is the best company I have ever worked for. They are very formally family oriented and compassionate about their employees and their members. They truly care. Anglez is such an amazing company all around. Just… like the name from A to Z they're passionate about making a difference!!! I highly recommend!!!

I have worked at ABHS for over 6 years, holding several different positions and have loved every minute of it. The work environment is professional but also fun. I am proud to be part of an agency that is focused on… reducing stigma in our communities related to mental health and substance use, as well as creating a safe and trusting environment for our clients.

I’ve worked for AngleZ for about 3 years now and I have to say it’s been very beneficial for me in many aspects of my life. I feel supported by my supervisors and coworkers, I have the flexibility to manage my own… appointments and my degree, and AngleZ has been a huge part of this. I know that when I do go to the office I’ll always be welcomed by my coworkers and supervisors and they are always willing to share a laugh or life updates. Great sense of comradery and our employees genuinely care about those we serve. It’s nice to work at a place where you’re not a number and even the CEO will check in on you if you’re having a hard time. But not in the scary way you feel like you’re being sent to the principles office lol.

I have had a horrible time with them. I've had my manager changed randomly. I've been stood up, forgotten, and not cared about as much because I appear "high functioning." Lets talk about how I showed up to my last… appointment and the secretaries (three of them) didn't want to tell me so they got their boss to come out and tell me that they sent my case manager home sick and that she would "contact me next week." SO THEY SENT HER HOME AND DID NOT TELL HER CLIENTS?? Oh yeah and the fact that my casemanager DID NOT CONTACT ME. haha its been two weeks. THIS IS PLACE IS A JOKE. Unless you're "bad" enough and maybe you'll get the help. DO NOT USE.

They have always been amazing to me and my husband. I've been going over 2 years, and we've had close, trusting relationships with all of the workers.

They were ok at first but wanted to see if they had true intentions of helping, they dont help they seek homeless people cause those are the only people they can get money off of from there insurance since they are in… dire need, I went through 5 case workers in less then 3 months cause they left cause they didnt like how angelzs run and how they treat the people, sadly its the truly unfortunately and I have evidence of that, I got a case worker thats in training! Always rescheduled everything, they are the reason why I went back to relapsing into alcohol they begged me to stay and I've had it with them, I dont recommend this place for many reasons they know I have no transportation to get my meds through them and they havnt bothered to help getting them for me when they have there own pharmacy in the same place, I begged for the last 2 weeks for my meds cause I need them. Its sad unfortunately I dont recommend people going there at all, if you truly want help seek a different service through somewhere else.

Been coming to anglez for several months. Everyone from front desk receptionist to my casemagement have been more than accommodating, respectful. Even when I changed my therapist at anglez they were very, genuinely… concerned about my mental health and well being. I can't thank them enough for all support they give me. They are always welcoming, with friendly smiles and curious about mental check in. Even for appointments. Thank you

I went there originally to get a case worker, they were always short staffed in that department and I think I went through 5 different case workers before I decided to give up on them with that.. I was also going… through their substance abuse program and had a therapist. Something I couldn't get at Groups at the time. My therapist was the best I've ever had, but my counselor, Ryan, constantly used our groups to talk about sex...as a female, it was extremely uncomfortable, and I felt like most of the females felt that way as well. I ended up leaving because of him because I couldn't deal with the anxiety about coming to our group anymore. I went back to Groups about a year after I started there and have felt better (and my group is made out of 8 wonderful men, only 2 females -me and 1 other) no weirdness and we all are very close! Even had a male counselor for a bit and he never made any of us feel uncomfortable. I hope he doesn't work there no longer-its not the job he should have...but good luck to all who go there....again my therapist was the best and I miss her dearly (Erin is her name i believe-its been so long but I would never forget his name-he disgusted me!) That's my personal experience and it was horrible, hope others have a better one!

I’ve been a member at Anglez for roughly 7 years and I would most likely not be where I am now without their services and support. The staff are down to earth and truly care about their members. I recommend to anyone… seeking sobriety.

Worse Business. Their treatment plan is every 3 months instead of 6 months or a year. No respect, no boundaries, very pushy, wanting things done asap, thinking pcp does mental health diagnosing when there is a… psychiatric provider already in place, very demanding. I do not recommend anyone to go here for any services. Go somewhere else for all of your services.

I was surprised to put it mildly at some of the negative comments. Been to many BH providers over the course of 25 years, I've had many bad experiences throughout the 25 year period, but I've been at AngleZ for more… than 3 1/2 years now and have never had a better experience anywhere. I literally don't have a single thing bad to say about them. From the front desk/ office manager to the 3 providers I've had since being there, the support staff/ case management available to help you with things like dealing with finding services like primary care provider, dental help, issues with DHS, Motor Vehicles, housing, legal problems easy going laid back counselors. well over a year ago they had a pharmacy opened off the waiting room that's not a part of AngleZ but any medication someone is prescribed is done on site usually when your appt is over the scripts are already finished which is incredibly convenient. Like I said been to the majority of BH places in not just Augusta, but from Skowhegan, Fairfield, Waterville, Augusta areas over 25 years, the last 3 1/2 years of it at AngleZ has been easily the best.

Not flexible with availability at all. Have to find another agency for my son because they only had one day at one specific time available which didn't work for me at all. Apparently don't have anyone else with more… availability. All that time waiting for nothing.

Zero stars. Never on time. Don't take there job serious or sometimes don't show at all and don't tell you. Not good a communication or remembering stuff. always complaining on the job but you're doing all the work.… Would not recommend. Also they act like pampered feminist.
