About Waterville Comprehensive Treatment – Waterville

Waterville Comprehensive Treatment operates in Waterville. The site sits in Kennebec County, which shapes which public funding routes apply. Nearby communities include Fairfield, Farmington and Oakland. The practical catchment runs wider than the city limits, taking in people who travel in rather than finding care on their doorstep.

Outpatient care is delivered here, alongside medication-assisted treatment, an opioid treatment program and telehealth appointments. Which level fits depends on the assessment rather than on what is available, so the useful first question is what that assessment involves. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Treatment Services at Waterville Comprehensive Treatment

Outpatient care runs to a set weekly schedule, with evenings and weekends spent at home. That suits people holding down work or caring responsibilities, though it asks more of someone managing early recovery alone. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Buprenorphine and methadone are available and paired with counseling rather than prescribed alone. Ask what happens at the end of the program as well as the beginning, since that is where plans usually thin out. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Waterville Comprehensive Treatment Address, Location and Contact Information

The service is based in Waterville, ME 04901, in Kennebec County. The catchment reaches Fairfield, Farmington and Oakland. Confirm what a program covers before traveling in, since the level of care listed is not always the level with capacity. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Telehealth appointments cover some contact where travel is difficult, which removes part of the journey for people further out. Ask what a first appointment involves and how long the current wait runs before making the trip. Waiting times vary with capacity, so call ahead rather than arriving unannounced.

The staff members are very compassionate and truly care for those they service, including the dosing nurses. It truly helps a lot for one who is undergoing the battles of life and addictions. I am truly grateful for the… personal relationships I have developed while going there. It makes your experience very pleasant and gives you hope for a life of fulfillment without substances.

Everyone that works here from the counselors to the nurses at the windows to the staff at the front desk is extremely kind and welcoming. I enjoy going in and interacting with the warm and friendly staff.

WORST CLINIC EVER.The people that work there are very rude and disrespectful. They act like their better than you .I hate that place and it sounds like they haven't gotten any better Thank God I don't go there anymore

The nurses are great, but they could do without Steph. She is very disrespectful does not care about the health or well being of staff or patients.

The place has gotten a lot better. The nurses at the windows are great. They have new counselors. The security guards are great. Not much to complain about today.

I really enjoy the staff I think they are very friendly and courteous. Sometimes the lines get a little long but as long as you do what your supposed to do you can get a week's worth of take homes. The only reason why… someone would most likely have a bad time here is because they are not getting off drugs and not doing what they are suppose to do. So if your being treated poorly by staff it's probably cuz they know your a loser who won't stop failing urine test and skipping out on counseling and thus giving methadone clinics a bad name. So I would definitely recommend this place to people who truly want help cuz it's a friendly comfortable atmosphere. For those who won't take it seriously go some where else. Update- still at this clinic and still very happy with this place and I'm so happy they finally fixed the giant. Pot holes in the parking lot. I've seen a lot of staff here come and go but one thing stays the same the treatment here is top notch. I've been at this clinic since 2010 and would definitely recommend it to anyone struggling with addiction issues. Don't be nervous about going here to get help it's a great place with great friendly employees. The new security guard is pretty cool too.

Might sound crazy but everyone I have dealt with has been great and done there job. The girls at the window are very welcoming if u talk to them, I love talking to them. The nurses at the window are great as well I… never feel uncomfortable. A nurse at the window I walk up to and I don't have to say a thing, she knows my number bday and dose. I never dread going there. Hope you join and get clean, u have to want it cuz it's not easy.

One lady at the front window is really mean, kicking a person out with a service animal. But otherwise everyone else is nice

This place saved my life. I don't kno where I'd be if I didn't seek treatment here. I was heading down the wrong path quickly. I finally got enough sense to call discovery house for an intake. It took me a few years to… get stable n then taper myself out but I not only did it successfully but I learned alot about myself thru the process. Most importantly I learnt that in order for the methadone clinic to work I had to not jus be a "good"patient and arrive everyday and take my drink and leave and attend all my appointments and groups....i had to focus on changing my life outside of the clinic...changing my friends and my choices...i had to make a complete lifestyle change. I moved 200 miles away from everyone and everything I knew. Got a full time job got a good counselor, changed my relationships changed my frame of mind and way of thinking. I learned that I was lacking coping skills...actually skills in general. U can move away and change everything however drug use and abuse is everywhere...u cannot hide from it or run from it. I had to work on growing my "tool box" of skills and tools to deal with life clean and sober. Ian a completely diffrent person now and so proud of who I have become. It was hard work but so worth it. Thank u discovery house

I think they need to get their software systems fixed and add another window if they are going to keep taking in strays. The line is out the damn door more than not.

changed my entire life for the better in 2 weeks. never looking back. fetenal is killing people methadone clinics are saving humans lifes.. when you choose not to drink alcohol to cope because it makes you insain,… opiates can cure depression anxiety anger and alot of pain inside mental and physical.. anyone whos never tried them for medication you shouldnt ever be opiniated about how beneficial they are. because you dont know the first thing about opiates or what they truly can do for someone suffering mentally and physically

Great place my daughter and husband go here AMD after years of struggling they now have been closer to a normal life then ever before you know there's pros and cons to each thing we do as there's going,to be things we… like about the clinic and things we don't but beating an addiction shouldn't be a cake walk just like all things you have to put in the work mend those broken bridges and fill in those holes its not over for any of you infect its just the beginning. And for that I thank the yteatmemt center because of methadone I can see my family's faces each day and havent lost the fight

My wife goes here and the majority of the staff are great counselors, reception, all great people who truly care. Her suboxone doctor who she had for the first 2 years she was there truly cared about her and her life… struggles and keeping the dose at what was comfortable for her to keep her clean and successful. Now they have a new suboxone Dr, Dr Fine and honestly he shouldn't be a dr. He doesn't care about his patients. Admitted to my wife that he needs to reduce his caseload and get some of the long term medically assisted out of there. She told him a lot of those people could end up back on drugs. It really depends on the situation. He basically told her it's not his problem. The very first time he met her, he didn't care about what was going on in her life or how this may effect it. He only cared about getting her out of there, for good. She's begging for a couple more months, just long enough so she can finish school and not fail out from being sick and unable to focus. That was also a no. Don't go to this dr, actually please do because that's just what he doesn't want. He wants to taper you and get you out just as quick as you get in. Then what's the point? Some people need long term assisted Care to stay clean and keep there life in order not everyone but some. At the very least wait until the stresses are reduced a bit. When you don't give a crap about your patients I guess it doesn't matter. First time she's had a Dr whom actually admits he doesn't care. I'm sure she'll be retaliated for this but she'll be giving the staff a heads up

I personally think that the staff here is amazing. the nurses are awesome and don't make you feel like just a number. they know and remember the names to every face that comes in. they have helped me and my fiance get… through our addictions. my fiance has been out of the discovery house for 2 years and is doing great and I am on my way out.

The worst methadone clinic I have ever been to!!!! They are mean and nasty and look for anything they can to give you a hard time. This morning they wouldn't let me dose because they said I had alcohol my breath and I… did a Breathalyzer and it didn't even change color but they still told me I couldn't dose. I said how ridiculous it was and that I was going to be sick today because of it and they said I wouldn't get sick for four days. Obviously they have no clue what its like to be addicted to methadone because I already feel sick and it hasn't even been half a day yet. These people do not care about their patients, they are just fake glorified drug dealers!!!I will never go here again! I would rather drive all the way to Bangor to dose!
