Beyond Healthcare – Toledo

This place was absolutely the WORST decision I have ever made for my daughter. She was in 7th grade and in the PHP program. She was placed in group therapy with older teenagers. She said she learned so much about sex… and drugs. There should have been divided groups based on age and reason for being there. When my daughter was placed in the PHP program, I was told she would be taught school lessons and stay caught up with her schooling. She was not. That never happened and my daughter ended up being retained because once she returned to school she was extremely behind. I feel lied to and I feel that my daughter ended up feeling traumatized. That is what she says, anyway. Every time we drive past the building she voices contempt. She is doing much better with a new therapist and medication. I don’t know about the other clients and cannot speak on their behalf, but for my daughter’s experience, it was absolutely horrible.

This program had been beneficial for my recovery and being able to live my life without the obstacles of my daily challenges. This program is helpful and In the long run it is beneficial for you. They listen you talk,… find real solutions to problems, help solve conflicts and they make therapy hands on so we feel more comfortable.

I was extremely impressed with the staff that worked with my child. They handled problems that arose with great communication to the parents and the child. My child's communication skills has greatly improved and we… have had a lot more positive choices made by our child.

It’s amazing the people here are theee besttttt!!

We did our intake and had a great experience! The staff was very nice. The flyer for the summer ADHD/Anxiety program was a little misleading as I thought kids would be doing outdoor and indoor activities to learn how to… deal with ADHD symptoms due to the outdoor pictures, but when I asked was told it is a group mental health setting Mon-Fri 9-1. It might be difficult for a young child with ADHD to be sitting all day when it’s summer time. The office is nice and clean and helpful staff.

Jaylyn was very good to talk to and work with. The front desk lady Tara was very observant. I believe my son will enjoy it here.

Very friendly intake experience

I can’t praise Beyond Healthcare enough. We drove from Detroit to Toledo every day for two months because there is NOTHING like Beyond Healthcare in our area. Julia my daughters therapist was exceptional. The staff was… wonderful. Everyone was amazing. If you want a clinic that will do everything in their power to save your child and will care about your child, look no further. This is the place for you. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!

Beyond Healthcare is a great MH agency. They are well connected to the community and there is no wait for new clients, which is an added bonus! The staff are wonderful to work with. Highly recommend!!

We really love working with BH such personal and professional staff. Their office is really inviting for the kids but clean / comfortable for adults.
