today was my first visit to blubonnet trails and I want to tell everybody I am a 52-year-old woman with mental illness and for the first time in my life from going to lots of Different doctors and health professionals… for the first time someone actually listened to me and somebody actually listened to me about my body and medication. it truly touched my heart that I was just not another number. I was so afraid it was just gonna be another place where I was going to fall through the cracks. The struggles I have been through are unbelievable, but for the first time in 52 years of having mental illness, I finally feel a place understands me, and I am so excited for what the future brings, and everybody that I have encounter from the telephone operators to the front desk to the nurses and The nurse practitioner I think you. I saw it today just how wonderful kind people u are You don't look at anyone funny they don't judge you. just good kind people. I personally just wanna say thank you and I am excited to now be a part of your mental health services and I feel my mental health is in great hands And The kindness that the entire staff gives the people is beautiful to watch because you never know how bad they could use that smile and soft words once again thanks so much. I have been helped through all the stages of my life, from preteen, to teen, to young adult, and they've been there when I got out of the worst moments of my life. They care for the patient and even let you know ahead… of time if there needs to be a rescheduled appointment. From medication management to inpatient services and assisting in getting the patients someplace safe, they care about helping us feel human again.
Good people. But waiting kinda sucks
This place has helped me not once but twice in my life. It is very clear to me that it’s not about the insurance money or personal gain here. They’ve got out of their way to help me thrive and grow and find happiness… within myself and in the tough times life brings. I will forever be grateful for this place, they helped shape me into who I am. Special thanks to the two people who aren’t there anymore, Lisa Carson and Cyndi Buel, for helping me and supporting me when I didn’t have anyone else to lean on and believing in me when no one else did. Great place.
