It used to be a good place, a complete and total Dump. Nasty place and unsanitary. The charge you Ritz Carlton price. But it's more like a Super 8. Roach invested, black mold. Nurses are under staffed and don't care. It… should be shut down. No actual therapy, all they have is AA. 5 people have to share a shower ,while they are charging you 3k a day. Go anywhere rather than here. They treat you like inmates. The short time I was there, no exaggeration ,I probably saw atleast 40 people walk out of there in 24 hours.

Bradford at Warrior is a great program with great staff that really care. I'd definitely recommend it. Don't waste you time, other's time, & money if you are not serious about recovery.

I went to Bradford broken homeless and hopeless, I went on a whim, but really it was God don't fire me what I couldn't do for myself. I was very thoroughly taken care of through detox all the way to when I left. The BHT… for my cabin B.J., Shelly, and Susan were all very loving and helpful. Also very relatable. My counsellor Rebecca dug in deep and helped me realize things I didn't even my problems were rooted to. I recommend Bradford to anyone seeking help. Also Ms Shareda has done a great job at reaching out since I left which has kept me very motivated.

Bradford in Warrior was great in helping my recovery process. BJ and Rebecca L. were very inspiring and taught me many things to help keep me sober. My experience has been life changing and I would definitely recommend… this program to other addicts and alcoholics. Sharreda has also been extremely helpful in furthering my treatment plans and has been in contact with me daily to see how everything is going. Overall my experience has been great.

This facility is NOTHING like it is described. On the phone they asked what time I would arrive and told them 1pm. I was there before 1. I waited 7 hours to be admitted. By the time they FINALLY called me I was laying… in the floor in so much pain and sick from detoxing. Also to mention there was 1 person ahead of me when I got there and she left. After intake I finally got into my room around 11pm. No one checked on me or my room mate throughout the night to make sure we were alive. Finally after a couple of days I got moved up on the hill in the licensed provider program. We could eat breakfast at the cafeteria but the rest of the day we were expected to cook our own meals. I get the idea behind it, but not everyone can cook. So be ready to survive on cereal. Some of the girls from our cottage were also giving our food to men from other cottages so we were short on food. We complained and nothing got done. I never had one on one therapy. You have to get up at I believe 5am go get meds and then go about the rest of the day. If you’re still sick or have medical issues you’re out of luck because you’re not allowed to lay back in your bed until bedtime. For night time meds they need a better system. 2 nurses (most of the time just 1) giving out meds for 50 people. There would be times you had to wait until midnight in line to get your meds then go back to your cabin and be up by 430-5. There was one “assistant councilor” or whatever they were called that told me that I would be dead in a week within leaving and that she would be watching for my obituary. There was only 1 sweet lady that worked nights that I met that acted like she truly cared about me. The 1 nurse practitioner I saw was also very kind and understanding, but some of the regular nurses were just rude and seemed uncaring. I work with nurses everyday and that’s not how you treat patients. I do not recommend this place. I wouldn’t send my worst enemy here. I spoke to a man while I was there and he said that was his 6th time there! No wonder. There’s no help. Just belittling. I’ve been clean since the day before I stepped foot in that place but I can honestly say the fear of having to go somewhere like that again helps with sobriety.

The absolute worst place. Don't go!I was so sick with withdrawal and I asked for an ambulance to go to the hospital. When they got there the nurses had told them I was threatening to commit suicide. Someone there lied… and told my counselor that I was smearing feces on the walls. You're already in a vulnerable position. Then to find out the ones that are suppose to be there to help you are going out of their way to make things up to cause you more pain and discomfort. It really blew my mind! That's not even all the wrong that was done to me there. The rest is too much to have to explain. I can say that the ten days in that place was the worst experience I've ever had. They should be shut down. The day they were discharging me they told my husband if he wasn't there to get me they were taking me to a homeless shelter.

Bradford used to be a good place, it’s absolutely horrible now fights broke out in the med lines, one guy has multiple seizures due to not getting proper medical care, there is absolutely no counseling they do an intake… for their paperwork to bill your insurance that’s it. Over medicate everyone, there was 1 assistant counselor for 2 cabins (32 women) pls send your loved one anywhere else if you want them to actually get some help.

My name is Charlie Turnipseed. I am a poly-substance addict Whether alcohol or any other such substance, they provide similar effects and problems for people like me. They all provoke addictive behavior in me, much to… my detriment and my chagrin. I enrolled late summer 2024 and started a meaningful path toward recovery from the maelstrom my life had become. Addiction ensnared me in a dark pit where my conduct, behavior and even moral and mental states were cruelly maladjusted while I tried to convince myself that I was simple a hard partier, often misjudged and misunderstood. I rarely considered that I was hurdling through life leaving a broad path of debris that affected for more people at much deeper levels that I cared to contemplate. I consider Bradford a thorough, full-service treatment center. The lodgings are nicer than the few others I have seen and are construed to provide patients a sound living environment, especially for those fortunate to qualify to extended care treatment. I was lucky to qualify for that and was greatly blessed. At this level of care, they povide superb counselors who work with individuals and in group counselling sessions that earnestly solicit the participation of all the clients while assessing each client and devising a succinct plan to address the multiple needs of each person's myriad maladies. I was greatly blessed with a Counselor named Bailey, who counseled clients in several capacities while leading my counseling group. My distorted perception focused on her brilliant insight while helping us all have the idea that we had somehow begun to disover our various flaws, motives and resolve to follow the center rules while beginning to attempt tp understand the program of Alcoholics Anonymous, the 12-Step program that has proved sound and successful for decades. My personal counselor was Trent, a brilliant man with a compassionate and reserved demeanor that is instrument to soothe the savage breasts of those who often are at odds with all authority that is essential to lodge and treat dozens of addicts at the same time who can exhibit signs of theffect of addiction which can cause mental problems that are exhibited during their stay. i met many who had all sorts of sad and sordid malicious acts that they attributed to having contributed to their downfall, including military veterans from our recent middle east wars, While such a diverse group can be easily unsettling, it was extremely rare that I felt unsafe or threatened by my fellow veterans, many of whom had served in direct combat. The staff and aministration went many extra miles to facilitate a longer stay in inpatient treatment. While it was generous and benevolent effort, I did not complete the entire plan. I have priority to a legal client I was representing and lacked the ability to successully pursue all options to meet both dehtmands, Bailey and Trent both implored mt to fully commit to my reovery and extend my treatment under the oversight and care of Bgradford. It was difficult to decline, but I relied on my thinking, the same thinkin that had led to my mess and returned to successfully resolve the case. I began a furtive recovery program in Alcoholics Anonymous, but i had failed to use all the building blocksin the mann er I was taught and within months I had convinced my self that I could rely on my partial past success to return to drug abuse. It was abyssmal and after a few months it led to a massive stroke that did little lasting damage and other medical problems. I eventually indulged a bender that resulted in a car bender. I was convinced that AA is a successful program, it's simple, but not always easy, It is esssential to surrender the malignant pattern of thoughtand embrace the often trying and umconfortaable challeng of being a better person; for yourself and th epeople around you who never deserved to be your victim. ,

My experience at A reprieve was and still is absolutely horrible the need for a person to run it right is absolutely vital. Plz watch the movie body brokers before you go there bc if you still go after seeing it u are… gonna realize you are in a real life body brokers system. I can't count the number of times hippa was broken by a patient video chatting and putting the whole class on video and the only punishment was he was told stop don't do it again and again. It is not the bht or counselors fault those poor folks are outnumbered 30 to 1 with the patients being the 30 I have more respect for those but and counselors because they not what it means to make something about of nothing and with no help you ladies keep up the good job don't worry we notice how hard u work.

I would recommend Bradford warrior location to anyone who needs support getting away from drugs and alcohol addiction. Everything they do is for the betterment of the patient as well as the follow up once they go home… and get settled the counselors are great. The assistant counselors in the cottages are wonderful. The detox nurses are great. You couldn’t be in better hands than Bradford at warrior.

If they try to send you to the Reprieve in Tuscaloosa, please find somewhere else to go if you actually care about your sobriety and are serious about it. All they care about is how many people they can stuff into that… hotel to get a check. They don't care if your using, several people were caught several times with no consequences. How is it supposed to be a safe place when your roommate is getting high and the staff won't do anything about it. People walk to the store and bring back alcohol and all the staff does is ask them not to do it again. If your serious about your recovery, be nice to yourself, set yourself up for success, and find another program before getting funneled into the Reprieve
