Bridge Health – Fort Oglethorpe

I went here during a rough period in my life and sought counselling. When asked if I wanted to try medication, I told them I preferred not to and wanted to do counselling instead. The counsellor was rude, and several… times would contradict my statements with insensitive comments rather than guiding me down the right path. I told him what I felt about myself and my mindset, since I like to self analyze and seek to understand, and he told me "If you know so much, why are you here?" Honestly, it makes me see red to think about it. I was in one of the worst moments of depression in my recent life and he could do nothing but make smart comments. They tried pushing medication on me anyways. I saw the counsellor two or three times and afterwards brought before a person I had never met that wrote me a prescription for meds. After both incidents I walked out and refused to seek any further treatment with this facility and never will.

They scammed me out of $200. I made an appointment to see Oluwatoyin Sowunmi, DNP. and she canceled the appointment, but they charged me the fee. This company is scamming individuals! They are on different healthcare… platforms, so be careful!!

Very polite and professional!! They are great with kids as well which is a huge plus for me!!

If I could give zero stars I would. Absolutely terrible place to go to for mental health support. Therapist was eh, Psychiatrist not so much. Psychiatrist, based in Savannah met over the screen, intimidated my child,… called her a liar about her struggles, and claimed she got them off of tik tok. Insanely rude and unprofessional. Therapist accused my child of rejecting/refusing help when we showed up late for an appointment. Do NOT waste time or money here.

My daughter has been going here past couple months. Very disappointed in the service. She was needed to see the Dr. Well she seen a nurse practitioner. Let's just say I don't think Wellbutrin and Busbars are the med. to… treat Scholfrina. Next appt. she runs in 5mins.with nurse practitioner and she doesn't go back for 2 more months .

Bridge Health is not a community service Bridge Health is concerned with your insurance information, not your well being Employees like Emily Webb and Brittany Dee are perfect examples of what is wrong with the mental… health system overall. Both of these people will lie to you and if you protest they will let you know that you can always just go somewhere else. I contacted Brittany's crisis line and there was absolutely no response. My crisis was not important to Brittany. Uneducated, and unconcerned. This particular clinic operates under the mantra of lies and deception If you truly value your mental stability then look elsewhere for treatment. This clinic is inadequate and most of the employees are substandard at the very least. What was once a tremendous asset to the mental health of our community is now nothing but a business that is an asset to itself only.

This place have the worst customer service that I’ve ever seen.I went there very depressed looking for help and I’ve end up getting worse. It’s very sad.

This place is super pathetic. Go to vitalis if you can...can't reschedule because it's a cancelation, but they can change with no penalties. Also their doctors get burn out quick because the outfit can't figure out… whether to wind their butt's or scratch thier watches.

I called and asked if I could be seen. I leave work and show up and then they tell me they do not accept private insurance only Medicare, it would be nice if they would tell you that over the phone.

The front desk ladies are Very RUDE! I hope they can make changes to there appointment rescheduling policy. The fact that your only given two times to reschedule before they discharge you is insane!!! This place is for… mental health right so how is this policy helping people. The counselor that my daughter had was amazing. It's very unfortunate they let the front staff and appointment rules take anyway from people's needs!!

New to the facility. Counselor Janet is great. Very professional and caring. NP karen brazzle seems to be a good nurse practitioner. Seemed to really want to help. For people like me who are seriously struggling with… life, she seemed to care. And wants to help. EDIT 8-14-24 I've been seeing Karen Brazzle for approx 3 years now. I have nothing but good things to say. I don't know how to explain her in a few words, so I'll do my best. Kind, caring, knowledge, passionate, and will take the time needed. Im not the type to visit a place like this, much less stay. But I'm over 3 years. The staff is nice and hospitable, as much as they can be. Scheduling has never been an issue. I use the in house pharmacy Genoa. I've decided to come off most, but they were always ready for pick up and we're offered to be shipped. I can't promise you'll get assigned Karen, and I have t encountered any other practicioners. They do exclusively telehealth, so if that's a problem for you. I believe their counseling is done in house, and can't comment on those staff. If you're struggling and need help, the low rating that is shown hasn't at all been my experience. Don’t go here unless you have no other option!! Counselor told me to stay off my meds and I ended up in a mental hospital… And now they won’t let me see my psychiatrist until I see her again. My meds are making me sick… and I have to wait to get an appointment with the doctor. They also told me I had to see the counselor and tell her I didn’t want to see her anymore… WHAT A JOKE. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I wake up sick as heck and call to reschedule my appointment i have to go court ordered and they said it'd close my case if they do theres a big chance on getting put back in jail I don't understand why they can't… reschedule the appointment i believe they like people getting re -arrested! Thought they were supposed to be helping us but instead they add more to ya!

Sat in the waiting room for over 2 hours, they finally called us back and then informed us that they don't accept our insurance.

Lots of problems

Visits went well. Good clean office and outside areas clean Bathrooms clean. Friendly staff. The only thing that keeps me from giving a 5 star is telehealth. There is nothing like having a human actually talking to you… instead of a computer screen. My little one has downs syndrome and can not understand why we have to talk to a tv. 3-2023 Visits are going better, getting used to her Dr. not being in person. Opening up more. Starting to talk to her more and answer more questions instead of me having to do all the talking.

Went here to be seen and waited for an hour in half which I expected, all for them to let some women go in front of me and than tell me they didn't have any more appointments. I had already been there a couple days… prior and for tired of waiting because I never got called back. TOTALLY DID ME WRONG. 🖕🏼🖕🏼 IS ALL I can say nicely. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

I was taken here in December 2021 for emergency sessions. The therapists are great, especially Shaleena! The doctors on the other hand…Dr Patel is more concerned with doodling than listening to her patients. Had to tell… her several times the exact same thing because she wasn’t even looking at me. The next doctor they gave me wrote me a script for medication I’m allergic to. She knew this upfront and said, “just keep an eye out for a rash, then the faster you get to the hospital the better.”

My wife came over there all they want to do is charge you $40 every time 3 times every week Is very dissatisfied with this place
