Sat there for 61/2 half hours. All the staff was polite accept for 1 individual. A supervisor on top of that. She was so upset that I asked. How long is it gonna take for a room? When I was already admitted, I thought I… sat there for 8 hours but I was wrong, it was 61/2. That's still long. She was so mad like he's only been here for 61/2 hours, not 8 supervisor saidall this.

So father just had surgery and they placed him in the icu. I just got there and just wanted to get information so I can pass it along to the family. As I was walking into the icu, I saw them roll my dad in there. A… nurse came out to me so incan get the information. The nurse came out and said, "you saw the bodyright?" Although It seems my dad was fine, I corrected the nurse and said, you shouldn't be saying the body, you should say, you saw him or something else. It has a bad connotations to dehumanizing their patience. Thanks all and hope my dad will be okay.

I had a mixed but mostly positive experience at Chapman Global Medical Center in Orange. The hospital feels older and could use some updates, and communication could be better in certain areas. However, the nurses and… medical staff were kind, professional, and attentive. During a stressful time, they made us feel supported and cared for. Overall, the staff made the biggest difference in our experience.

Old bldg sink in my bedroom didn’t work so I got ecoli AC didn’t work and my room had to have been 80. No tv in your room. Some nurses were great some shouldn’t be working. No call button so patients hollering NURSE day… and night. It was literally hell.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Don’t come here. I was only here because there was a mix up in my insurance. I was here on Christmas morning for my gallbladder stones, to which I was told I was going to have a surgery… to remove them. However, that was not the case. I stayed 3 days after completely unattended, was told the doctors didn’t know what to do and the supervisor in ICU was being so rude about visiting hours and refusing to let my wife stay with me on Christmas night. The staff kept telling me that they were trying to figure out what to do, get in contact with doctor and the surgeon. The surgeon “came to see me” and then left? The staff was looking for my chart because they had lost it? Very unprofessional, kept me waiting in pain and hadn’t eaten in 3 days due to the “surgeon coming to prep me.” Don’t come here. My wife finally discharged me because she refuse to let them attend me and got me to UCI where in 1 hour they did much more. Global took 3 days.

My husband had surgery yesterday - bilateral SI fusion. While the hospital itself is a bit old and lacks modern updates, the staff was amazing! Our pre and post op nurse, Brandon, was helpful, kind, thorough, and… professional. I was also impressed with the neuro nurse, anesthesia nurse, and especially the PT/OT. It was a stressful day and we felt well supported and cared for. 5 stars on the staff, one star off for the age of the facility.

Maybe times have changed, but I went there for an emergency in August 2024 & also for one in January 2026. They suck. The first time I was assisted by this Asian male (didnt catch his name). I was in distress because my… mom’s 2-3 year old had fallen bad on his head & he was going in and out of consciousness. He didn’t even react, and told me there was nothing he could do. He told me to go outside & call an ambulance. The police/ambulance put in a complaint & were upset for us. Thankfully he was okay, ambulance got there fast & choc hospital on 17th st helped. As for the second incident, not too bad just went to get checked after an accident but went to 17th st instead because the wait wasn’t it. The big white lady at the front desk was rude too. Unfriendly staff, no urgency there. I recommend choc on 17th st.

I had many encounters with Minh. She is a respiratory therapist. She doesnt care about her patients. She's very rude and has an attitude problem. I just dont understand why they dont do anything about this. This is a… lawsuit waiting to happen. She also yells at patients. Minh needs to be fired. Please dont come here. They care moreabout money then helping

Minh is respiratory therapist and a rude and unprofessional and I can't believe she still works there.there has been so many complications about her and nothing gets done. There are another amazing respiratory therapist… here and do thier jobs with great pride and amazing attitude. They are helpful and talk to thier patients. But if you get Minh I feel sorry for you she comes in with a rude attitude doesn't even say a word and acts like you bugging her she rolls her eyes. She takes forever to respond Minh gives a bad name to respiratory therapist everywhere. Why is she still here??? Minh doesn't care at all. She yelled at my love one for asking gor help how can this be okay. Subacute needs more stuff and definitely more cna. Don't come here they care about money then patient care

I am writing this review with immense gratitude to the team at Chapman Global Medical Center. I noticed several negative reviews regarding the ownership here, but based on my recent life-saving experience, the medical… staff, doctors, and nurses deserve nothing but praise. Like any major acquisition, there are growing pains, but the care at the bedside remains excellent. I arrived at the ER in a way I never thought possible. After a 17-hour fast and a severe allergic reaction to medication, my body shut down and I lost consciousness while driving on the freeway. Because my Tesla had Full Self-Driving engaged, the car’s monitoring system detected I was unresponsive, slowed down, and safely pulled over to the shoulder—preventing a high-speed catastrophe. My wife was able to alert emergency services via Life360, and when they reached me, I was stabilized enough to stay in the vehicle as it autonomously completed the trip to the hospital. From the moment I "arrived" at the ER and walked in, I was in great hands. I was admitted overnight due to dangerously high troponin levels. Throughout the stay, the nurses and doctors checked on me frequently, kept me comfortable, and monitored my blood work until my levels returned to a safe range. I was discharged within 24 hours feeling alive and well. Huge thanks to the ER staff for their professionalism and care, to my wife for her quick thinking, and to the engineers at Tesla for building technology that literally saves lives when the driver cannot. If you find yourself in an emergency, know that the team here will take great care of you.

Avoid this place. The ER was OK, and the OR was good, but once I got admitted, the hospital was terrible. Except they didn’t call in my prescription like they said they would.. said the doctor was gone, maybe tomorrow… (the day I got released). The staff was awful, would have to keep asking for simple things like water and updates on my surgery. I never got any updates; they kept saying they didn’t know when the surgeon might show up. I asked for the Charge Nurse, they said they didn’t have one. The place looks old and dirty. The toiler and window were leaking. Sometimes they updated the board in my room, but only on the last day of my 3 days admitted. I could hear them talking about other patients. The MIR tech made a comment about a nurse we passed.. how her hair was so sexy, but her face was (and make a gross noise). I mentioned that I hadn’t eaten in days, and it seems he took me back a different way on purpose, thru the kitchen area, wasn’t shorter. The place seems like its days from being shut down. When I left, I just walked out, which I was thankful for.. but was surprised since they I just had surgery around 1pm, walked out around 5pm; I said I had a ride but then just got an uber after I realized it was too painful to walk the 20mins home. I could keep going.. this place is terrible and probably should not be opperational.

I had rotator cuff surgery at this hospital and from the moment I checked in to the moment I checked out the service was awesome. The staff was attentive, patient and caring. I felt well informed of what the next steps… were and completely at ease before my surgery. I was given post surgery care instructions and had an overall excellent experience here. My surgeon was Dr. Chueng and I wish I could remember the nurses names and anesthesiologist name but they were all great and I would highly recommend. I'm now 10 months post op and feeling great!

If you value your life, or your loved ones, dont EVER go here. This hospital is ill equipped and none of the staff here seem to know what theyre doing. The new "billionaire" owner could care less of the patients they… are caring for, as this is all a front to make profit for his pockets. We were here for an emergency at 9 AM. They then transferred us to a room around 1 PM. None of the staff on that floor seemed to know what they were doing. They didnt hook up any monitors to our mom who was clearly showing signs of a potential HEART ATTACK. And nothing but the run around that a Doctor is on the way. What happens? There is no doctor. They didnt have any doctors available and no one was coming, so their plan was to keep her overnight until they can get a doctor in. We requested for an MRI and that took forever. When the MRI tech finally came in, even he said "why would you even take her here?" Even the tech knows this place is the wrong place for an emergency. Oh, and the supervisor was not happy when he said that. We had enough of the bullshit and the games and asked for an EMTALA which they were pushing back on and gave us bullshit reasons as to why they cant do it. So we said just discharge our mom now and we'll take her elsewhere. The supervisor didnt know what to do and was constantly calling her boss, who was not on site, on how to handle the situation. Like they couldn't make decisions without the boss' permission. So they ended up saying they'd discharge our mom as long as we sign an AMA - basically freeing themselves from any responsibility that happens to our mom. So we signed it immediately to get our mom to proper care. Upon exiting we called paramedics to take her to the St. Joseph's. Heres the kicker - we find out from the paramedics that Chapman Global Medical Center is that they lost their paramedic certifications. Which is why they were giving us the bullshit as to why they cant do the EMTALA (basically a mandate for hospitals to transfer a patient to another hospital). Once the paramedics showed up, all of a sudden the supervisor is apologetic - trying to save face. And she even said to report the owner because he's really at fault for all of this due to him depriving them of the supplies they need to properly care. If you value your life and health, dont go here. Just look up the owner himself. Dr Kali P Chaudhuri. History of not paying physicians. Thats why they dont have doctors here. Thanks for wasting our time and potentially endangering our mom's life when it didnt need to be. The competence here is terrible.

The hospital was called MICKEY MOUSE MEDICAL CENTER! It was a horrible experience, and don't tell me the hospital is near Disneyland and that's why they have the right to be run by MICKEY MOUSE! They didn't help me in… any way. I've experienced two serious conditions in the past: a traumatic brain injury and a stroke. That's why I thought it was serious because this month I'd had headaches all month long. Maybe I have a shunt in my head. But they didn't think of that. They just offered me a prescription for Ibuprofen! And she said, "I don't want to hear about any of this because it's better to discuss it with your primary care physician," when I said that maybe my headache was something serious or maybe it was caused by the pantropozol because of my secondary condition, which is gastritis. It's not related to my reason for coming here today, but it was made worse because when I was in the bathroom, one of the staff members spilled my sparkling mineral water on my stomach. After I left the bathroom, everyone denied spilling it or offering to replace it, and as a result, my stomach hurt all night. I really don't want to come back here ever again unless Mickey Mouse personally invites me because I think he owns this terrible hospital! !

My dad was sent here (senior mental care unit) for ten days and the staff took extremely good care of him. Google’s low ratings scared me, but when I learned how senior mental care units work, I realized this group are… professionals and experts. Their nurses were kind and caring. I appreciated that the most. Their nurse supervisor (title?) Michael M was an angel and helped me get through these highly stressful ten days. I know this type of facility may unnerve family members, especially if it’s the first time, but I’d like to send the staff a big thanks for doing their utmost.

I had an excellent experience during my stay at the Chapman Hilton. Grace and Miji were wonderful when receiving me after I was transferred from Hoag Emergency—they made the entire process smooth and comforting. Michael… was an exceptionally attentive nurse and provided outstanding care during my first two days. Bien, Ariel, Charmaine and Rayan were also exceptional and consistently made sure I was comfortable and supported. The doctors and nurses worked together seamlessly to help me recover. Thank you Doc Nguyen! And doc Ak. I highly recommend this facility and sincerely appreciate the entire team for their dedication and professionalism.

I’ve been a patient at Chapman Global Medical Center’s Subacute Unit for nearly a decade. I remember when care here came with heart — the nurses and CNAs treated us like people, not tasks. That changed after 2024. One… moment still sits heavy on me: a nurse — one of the truly caring ones — had stopped by to listen as I was going through a rough time. Just minutes later, as she passed my room in the hallway, the charge nurse stopped her and said firmly, “Don’t you forget about what was discussed in our staff meeting.” My nurse looked back at me with a sad expression and quietly said, “I have to leave now.” Since that meeting, everything has shifted. Staff now seem pressured to rush from task to task, barely making eye contact, clearly trying not to “run” down the halls — it's ridiculous. The compassion that once made this place feel human has been replaced by stress, fear, and urgency without understanding. Patients like me are not numbers. We are people who notice, who feel, and who remember when care used to mean something. I sincerely hope leadership takes accountability before more is lost. They have put $profits above Care!

My son was treated here. He hurt himself in basketball tournament and this was closest. The staff was very good.. I was so nervous being in a different city and reading all the reviews. The hospital could use some… remodeling cause old hospitals scare me. Other than that very good. The staff was kind, attentive and fast as possible even being as busy as it was. Thank you everyone for all your hard and caring work!😃
