Terrible place

I have been going to Coleman Clinic in Kenton ohio for almost 5 years after the death of my youngest daughter. I was taking effexor 125mg. and I was not doing well. The nurse practitioner started me on ability. I… started having some mouth movements and lip smacking. He cut the dose but I started having abnormal movements of my feet and talking out loud to myself.i went back and told him I stopped the abilify and did not want any more antipsychotics. He then suggested seroquel,after almost 5 years he didn't remember I was a nurse. I told him no. I want something to help me with my extraparametal symptoms. He started me on Austedo and said he would check back with me in a week. No call back. I've called the office multiple times. Have no medication left. No response from nurse,nurse practioner that prescribed it did not call back either. What am I to think? I have an appointment with my primary care tomorrow .

Been coming here for about 3 years and all I get is a bandage no real help. The way they treat there patients is that all people are the same no real attention to need and just a run around. I’m from Florida and went to… psychiatrist pretty much all my life and the care of patients is very different. I feel judged by my psychiatrist by even suggesting a medication that I’ve taken in the past and worked while I was in crisis.

I love my psychiatrist and my therapist but the front desk never answers phone calls and doesn't call back half the time.

Let’s be fair, it’s Kenton. The staff is never at the desk to answer phones. My son has been cycled through 3 providers because they always seem to be going somewhere else. Now he is without a doctor because they never… return phone calls to set up with a new provider. This place is a serious joke and needs to worry more about their staffing and less about remodeling.

Worst place to go to they never answer the phone if u leave a message it never gets to the people it’s supposed to go to and the hope line is bullcrap so good luck to anyone that goes here or is thinking about going… there

I found the staff to be very cordial and welcoming. If you have taken controlled medications prior to seeing the provider, don't get your hopes up that you can continue your routine under her care. There are a lot of… different alternatives she wants to try. I had found a successful and necessary routine after several years of trying alternatives, I did not want to relive that journey.

Wasted a decade on this place. I wish they were as concerned about my health as I am. What a joke. If you want good help, I'd suggest going somewhere else. Not Kenton Ohio.
