Footprints Recovery IL – Elgin

We’ve had a great experience partnering with Elevare Behavioral Health. Gabriella and Kaylaa do a wonderful job putting patients first and maintaining excellent communication throughout the process. They make the… transition and coordination of care as smooth as possible, always keeping the individual’s best interests in mind. I have personally toured the facility and had the opportunity to meet the clinical staff, and I have nothing but great things to say about what I heard and saw. It’s clear that they genuinely care about the people they serve. We truly appreciate their partnership and commitment to setting each patient up for success.

I am not sure i can properly put into words how important my time at footprints was. I do believe they helped me save my life. The entire staff is full of love, care and kindness. They were professional and diligent in… my treatment. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone facing struggles with mental health and addiction. I read a few negative reviews before deciding to check myself. I am so grateful i ignored them and checked into footprints.

This place saved my loved ones life. Seriously. He was Deep in addiction when he got here and I was fearful because of the reviews and because his addiction was just so bad I didn’t know if anything was going to help.… Before footprints, I was planning to bury my loved one. He is now healthy, clean and sober and has a career. I can never thanks footprints to recovery enough. All the staff was very kind to me when I went to visit and drop stuff off for him. The only reason we’re missing a star is because my loved one had some issues with a staff member named Quan(?) who was being weird to patients. Other than that, amazing experience for my loved one. Thank you guys for saving his life and brightening up mine.

My daughter spent time at Footprints last summer for a few months. We had a really traumatic start as they haphazardly placed her incorrectly after her initial intake assessment. She did decide to return the next day… and for the first month, we were impressed and grateful for the therapists and medical staff; their support, meetings, availability and empathy seemed genuine and impactful. We did begin to see a positive change. I will say however, that as the time went on, our daughter complained to us (and others had the same experience) of the housing staff not being compliant with the medicinal management of clients. She consistently did not receive her meds and though voiced concern and complaints, nothing changed. It is negligent and illegal. The apathy, the disorganization, and miscommunication amongst the staff she complained to us about, made us very concerned and our daughter decided it was time to leave. I am grateful for the powerful ways they helped her, but glad we got out when we did. The decline is apparent.

Served rotten eggs thanksgiving morning. Techs act like prison guards. At PHP level, there's very little access to even go outside. There's better options. Choose one of them.

Do u guys have like a recovery home setting where if I do 28 days at another facility I can transfer immediately to a recovery home here or you guys don't offer that ?

This is an amazing place for recovery. The staff is wonderful, and it is a very clean, comfortable space

I had the chance of a lifetime to get better. The staff protected me and listened to my concerns. Leadership was also part of my care.

Zanna W/ FOOTPRINTS was very caring and really spoke to me candidly and gave me the push I needed. While I ended up in another companies IOP program she still followed up and was very kind and compassionate. Thanks again

Unfortunately Footprints & their sober living facility have gone downhill. They can’t retain any staff members of high quality. All of the therapists have left. The current staff lacks empathy & kindness. I’m sharing… because it’s my 2nd time here & the level of care has decreased to almost nothing in the last 12 months. I came back to Footprints because I had excellent care here last year 2024. I would look at other facilities in the area which are better staffed & better quality & level of care.

We are grateful to have Footprints to Recovery as a trusted referral partner. Working with Leah W. has been an incredible experience, her dedication and compassion for clients truly stand out. Leah goes above and beyond… to ensure individuals receive the care they need, and she communicates with professionalism and heart every step of the way. The case managers at Footprints are also exceptional. They don’t just place clients into treatment. They develop thoughtful plans that include referring clients back to us when it’s the right next step in their recovery journey. This collaborative approach ensures continuity of care and helps clients feel supported at every stage.

Not confident these 5 star reviews are based on the location in Elgin. There is no apparent structure- lack of communication to family members of inpatients in residential. My son mentioned numerous times he had to find… staff as there was no one around. Groups are not educational or led with direction. For a facility that provides medical services to their patients the quality of care provided is concerning. They also mentioned on two occasions they outperformed a local rehab in the area, calling them their arch nemesis and that they are significantly better…. I am not sure in what aspect but they failed every expectation they set up.

I’ve been sitting in the parking lot waiting to pick up my husband with our two kids (14 months and 7 weeks) for 30 minutes. This place is so unorganized when it comes to clinical care. His therapist didn’t see him for… 2 weeks, I didn’t speak to him got his first three days there. It terms of treatment and programming, they’re okay but their facilitation and organization is subpar.

Staff was beyond excellent! From intake, through detox, to therapist everyone was caring, knowledgeable, helpful, and guiding. Kudos to all (most) of you!! Thank you for everything!

One of the best experiences and places I have ever came too, From the staff to curriculum to the groups and food. Would highly recommend. If u are an addict or someone in need of help for someone struggling with… addiction. This is coming from a recovering addict myself I would highly recommend. Recovery focused and professional yet still down to earth.

Footprints has saved my life more than once. From the staff to the resources easily made available I am beyond grateful for all that Footprints has done for me and my journey to recovery

Footprints Recovery has changed my life for the better. Big thanks to the wonderful staff that helped me regain my confidence and self love I was striving for. My sobriety has become something obtainable when I thought… I couldn't reach it. Truly grateful for the friendships I have made and the friends who became family. Footprints is a fantastic facility that truly cares for it's patients and helps them in all aspects of life which will anchor them in on their new sober journey.

I'D GIVE 0 STARS IF I COULD. I WAS PREGNANT. I FOUGHT MONTH TO GET IN. THEY T TURNED ME AWAY. NOW PREGNANCY MUST BE TERMINATED. DO NOT EVER TRUST THIS BUSINESS.

ABSOLUTELY ONE OF THE BEST TREATMENT CENTERS EVER!!!! They help my husband and our family to get him on track and to take control of his mental health and addiction. They were very supportive and helpful with everything… we asked for. They created an after-care treatment plan for him, gave him counseling services, the nurses were absolutely amazing and the therapist great. Madelyn Batka is the best of the best of the BEST therapist at the facility. She was on her job, kept me informed of EVERYTHING, stayed on top of the medications and test they were giving him, I mean she is definitely a great therapist and I feel like a new family member of ours. If she’s not yet she needs a director position, lolbvvs. My family and I are really grateful and appreciative of everything the program gave my husband. I can’t live without him and he can’t live without me. Thank you at Footprints To Recovery for saving my husband.

Really unfortunate. Treatment and the staff in the facility were great... Administration AWEFUL. Hidden costs just keep on rolling in. Thousands of dollars in hidden costs.... We had a contract and setup a payment… plan... Then all the other bills start coming in... Blood tests sent off site for processing... over $1200 for one test and not covered under insurance. No one ever went over what was all involved outside the supposed contract. Now, 2 months since leaving the facility, more bills coming in, that apparently were not under the original contract... More hidden costs than a shifty car dealership. Seems to prey on and take advantage of people at a low point.

I want to say I appreciate all the staff at footprints to recovery a huge shout out to all the pht and case management hear beaky has ben a really great support for my recovery and gave me so many tools I need to be a… successful person in life I love all u staff hear at footprint
