Meeting with Ms Lorin Brody was a great experience. She’s one of the good ones. She is patient, caring, and actually cares about you and how you’re doing. Looking forward to seeing her again.

So, I live in Rockford, IL and had been traveling to Dundee, IL for several years prior to being with Mathers. When Mathers took over my psychology and psychiatry from the clinic I had been with for years I was… originally very worried. Change is very VERY hard for me and losing the clinic that had literally saved my life could have been catastrophic. They have done right by me. I often bring them up in conversation when appropriate, and recommend them with no hesitation. I appreciate their having multiple locations and the telehealth availability. My Therapist is *amazing*, very warm and personable who doesn't blink at my alternative lifestyle. That's incredibly important to me because if I can't talk about it honestly then what is the point? I have been battling my mental health for over three decades, so I've bounced around a bit. Mathers is a good home for me and my journey.

Everyone there is absolutely AMAZING!!!!!!! I never feel uncomfortable which is amazing because I have anxiety. The staff is great especially the one working the window when you walk in. She helps you get signed in and… sets up your next appointment. She is absolutely awesome.

This place is amazing! They offer family support. Meetings, individual services as well as group. Medical care, psychiatric care. This is one of my highly recommended locations!

The staff are super nice , courteous and professional. This place saved my life. This is one of the VERY few places that understands me he struggle because many people that work there went thru the same thing. That is… so transformative to have someone that went thru what you are going thru and because of that they know how best to help. One other uniquely wonderful part of this program is that they don’t try to rush you through treatment I tried a lot of doctors that would help get me to a stable point and then say ok let’s start taking away those supporting elements of your treatment now like cutting down your scripts when your not ready and on the other side of the equation they don’t over medicate either. One of my favorite doctors there told me it’s your journey tell me how I can get you there.

Without Mathers team support, I never would have been able to get off opiates and no longer live in a state like an emotional zombie, trapped deadness. If you want to straighten up, go see them. no judgement, just help

Dr Lorin Brody (NP) and "El Heffe" Mr. Joe Thomas are two of the best medical professionals I have seen in my 53 years. They are both genuine, caring, intelligent, honest, and accessible. Their combined efforts have… helped me to find my path, in a time when MOST doctors work solely for insurance and pharmaceutical corporations.(They, doctors, obviously care about their own well-being and fianances more than any patient, in my many experiences). I have developed a bond with Dr Brody & Mr. Thomas(especially) that is helping to restore my well being and my faith in humanity. No BS. JOE THOMAS DESERVES A RAISE(and anything else he needs, for his services). Mathers Clinic is fortunate to employ these two wonderful people. I intend to continue my relationship with both individuals for as long as possible.
