Never gave me the full amount of time for each therapy session, which was short to begin with [up to 45 minutes]. Grievance department to leave a complaint, by design, is impossible yo reach. Repeatedly all staff will… interrupt you non-stop and speak over. Take 0 accountability or ownership of their mistakes like not returning phone calls as promised. Crisis Line repeatedly laughed, mocked, taunted and intimidated me from the first to the last second. I've had many horrible experiences with medical facilities, but this one ranks a top as one of THE worst. Staff is unfriendly and unprofessional. Stay away from this place at all costs.

I've been a client here for nearly three years for therapy, case management, medication management and occasional group therapy. Since I've been coming here my entire life has changed for the better. Hamilton Center… suits my needs because it is small enough to give me individualized care tailored to meet my evolving needs. I really can't thank my providers enough for their continued support.

GO TO HEALTHNET! You have to see a therapist for 8 weeks before being able to see a psychiatrist but doing this CHANGED MY LIFE! They have offices in speedway, east 10th street, west morris, & downtown area. I had been… seeking therapy/help off & on for basically all of my adult life starting around 18 & was the person who would cancel my therapist after the first session if not even before the session was over. When I was serious about changing my life I agreed to the 8 weeks sessions & found the psychiatrist that changed my entire life. Do not waste your time here.

Waste of time.

This was my first and last time trying to be a patient here. I needed to be seen and was referred to the Indianapolis office, so I was hopeful about working with them. Unfortunately, it took nearly two weeks just to… schedule a single appointment because it was extremely difficult to get in touch with anyone. Most of the time, my calls went unanswered. When someone did pick up, they would transfer me to the Indianapolis location, but no one would answer there either. My voicemails were never returned, no communication. I eventually switched to the Plainfield location, hoping for a better experience. While I was able to schedule an appointment on the first try, the overall experience did not improve. I had a Zoom appointment scheduled for today, but no one showed up. I tried to call to see what's the hold up. Unfortunately, no one answered the phone when I tried calling for assistance/help. No communication, no effort or anything. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but the lack of communication and reliability has been incredibly frustrating. It felt like they were wasting my time and effort. I have decided to take my business and money elsewhere. I would not recommend.

I’m deeply disappointed with the quality of care I’ve experienced across multiple healthcare providers in Hendricks County. Since moving back as an adult and seeking services for both myself and my daughter, I’ve… encountered consistent stress, poor communication, and a lack of genuine care. My daughter saw a therapist named Asia, and the experience was unprofessional and ineffective. She also appeared to be on some sort of drug. Sessions felt disengaged, communication was non existent, and promised services—such as family therapy—was offered, only upon arrival for the appointment she claimed she actually did not provide that service but that we could “simulate,” a session — basically attempting to commit fraud. and then acted confused when I wanted to dismiss myself from the room to allow me to continue my search for family therapy. Trying to instigate an argument when I was simply trying to leave the session as I had always done previously—which was always suggested and preferred by her. My daughter was left in a confusing, incomplete diagnostic process regarding ADHD, which ultimately wasted time and caused unnecessary frustration rather than providing clarity or support. This experience mirrors others I’ve had locally: when you are generally healthy, the system seems to function fine—but the moment you need actual help, advocacy, or services beyond the bare minimum, you’re met with resistance, denial, or dismissiveness. Healthcare is something I take very seriously. Unfortunately, these repeated experiences have left me with no choice but to seek safer healthcare elsewhere despite the inconvenience. I would not recommend relying on Hendricks County providers if you or your child need attentive, thorough, or compassionate care. Literally go to any town next to/outside of Hendricks for actual services, please! Also I am not misogynistic at all due my obvious intentional choice for all female providers I do have something to say about that though, to clarify and warn anyone else. I intentionally chose providers I believed would offer a greater sense of comfort and understanding. Unfortunately, what I experienced instead was a recurring pattern of dismissiveness and unprofessional behavior that left me feeling talked down to rather than supported.

If you are looking for help do not recommend!!!!! You will be waiting for months and show up for your appointments on time and they magically dont have you scheduled after waiting 2 months!!!

they misdiagnosed me and it has interfered with an investigation with the fbi and impd i have lawyer helping sue

My PCP suggested I go here for med management. Their policy is that you must see a therapist in order to receive med management services. I started seeing a therapist at the end of 2022 and was put on a waitlist for med… management. The therapist was nice, but not great and I didn’t get anything out of the sessions. She also wanted to enroll me in a vocational program even though I had gone to college and had a job. After a couple months of therapy I checked on my status on the med management waitlist and found out that I had accidentally been removed from the list. I was finally able to have my first psych consult at the end of March 2023. In June 2023, after only 2 appointments with the psych nurse practitioner, I was informed that my therapist was no longer with the company and that they would let me know when a replacement became available. Because of their policy, I could no longer receive med management services since I didn’t have a therapist. I never heard from them again, even after calling to check in.

This place is a joke waited three months just to hear anything and they straight up tell me I’ve got too so the stuff I got a person who straight up called the cops on me for no reason for three months before I could do… what I needed fastest time I’ve ever hung up the phone

Not happy been a patient for years. Switched doctors because most are leaving. New doctor stopped meds that was working and started me on drug tests. I have never taken drugs not prescribed properly. I am not sleeping… at night due to no meds . No sleep does crazy things to your mind .

If i could, it would be zero. By far the worst experience i have had with anyone in the medical field. I set my appointment up right after Valentines Day, and the earliest they could get me in was April 11th. I wait the… Two months, and the Therapist, Andy Andrews, calls me, tells me that there isn’t anything he can do for me because he resigned, and promptly told me it would likely be longer than 2 months for another appointment with another therapist. I do not recommend. Listen to the other reviews, do not ignore them like i did.

The one star is for only a rude therapist. I couldn’t answer the phone when the therapist called do to being on the phone being told a family member had died today. This therapist left a really rude message. Sure hope… the therapist feels better.

Reviewing for a family member that has had nothing but ongoing issues. They refuse to send prescriptions on time, resulting in lapsing of medication multiple times since being treated despite multiple requests by… patient and pharmacy.

Unprofessional outdated psychologist that should have chosen a different profession.

The lack of professionalism is astounding. One of my family members was meeting with a therapist from the Hamilton Center. When she got on the Zoom call to meet with her counselor during one particular session, rather… than be in an online waiting room, the therapist had not set up the zoom meeting properly and another child was in the middle of a therapy session. We no longer felt comfortable with Zoom sessions because we didn’t know if the same thing would happen to her that happened to that other child. Then out of nowhere and without warning, the therapist left the practice. My family member was assigned to a new therapist. She met with that therapist for three weeks and then that therapist left the practice with very little notice. You can’t get effective treatment with a revolving door of therapists.

Yes my girlfriend is a client of yours her therapist doesn't that lady get it or not on what she is going threw and my girlfriend can not do strenuous work. Everytime she talks to her she is always bringing up about her… working what's your problem lady my girlfriend is on disability that's discrimination also against someone Disabled I will also when is your office going to be official open to where the clients can come in there does she not understand my girlfriend has to move O excuse me her therapist is not the one dealing with what is going on at that place she is lying at you all need to get into trouble. You all better hope I don't go with her at one of her appointments that therapist will hear it.

Yes I am a past client we are moving back too Plainfield and we need family counseling I know Paul Schiender there and Dr. Z my husband and I and my son we need counseling services and my husband needs to see a… psychiatrist there his anger issues is out of hand . I can't keep putting up with it my last name was different then I have known you for years when Marsha Carr was a counselor . Shame she isn't still there I been very quiet now I had anger issues but since I been loving in Hamilton county it's been an awlful experience living up here. We need someone who is nice and understanding and who doesn't take sides I have put up with this at all the counseling centers we have been too that is one thing I won't put up with that. A good therapist doesn't take sides you can't tell my husband nothing he is right your wrong you will see I still say something happen too him when he was little abuse that went on in the home . Can't wait too get back there and come there too see someone.

When I very first started going to their downtown location I was very impressed but gradually even that location went downhill much like this Plainfield location! I absolutely love my therapist however it’s all about… production and they get advanced insurance prior authorization for time billed and I’m lucky to get in on time to see my Dr every single time or an appointment that’s even doable within my time frame! And it’s nearly impossible to receive a phone call when you leave a message and just this very day I was told by my pharmacist that the nurse was supposed to call me because the Dr was out and I needed a controlled drug prescription and they didn’t even try to have the other Dr try to call it in so now I suffer and go two days without which is agonizing and no phone call ever! But I bet I get none on Monday either! I will be searching for a new place right away not that they care so sad because it’s been 11 years now of my hard work!
