About Howard Center – South Burlington
Howard Center operates from 75 San Remo Drive in South Burlington. The site sits in Chittenden County, which shapes which public funding routes apply. Nearby communities include Burlington, Essex Junction and Shelburne. Vermont draws people across long distances for treatment, so travel time is worth weighing against waiting time.
Outpatient care is delivered here, alongside medication-assisted treatment, an opioid treatment program, telehealth appointments and care for co-occurring mental health conditions. Which level fits depends on the assessment rather than on what is available, so the useful first question is what that assessment involves.

Treatment Services at Howard Center
Outpatient care runs to a set weekly schedule, with evenings and weekends spent at home. That suits people holding down work or caring responsibilities, though it asks more of someone managing early recovery alone. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.
Buprenorphine, methadone and naltrexone are available and paired with counseling rather than prescribed alone. Trauma-specific services run alongside, which matters where the two are tangled together. Co-occurring mental health conditions are treated in the same building rather than split across providers.

Howard Center Reviews and Ratings
Questions worth keeping in mind while reading Howard Center reviews: Was the assessment explained clearly? Were costs set out early? Was there a plan for after treatment?
Accounts that address points like these are usually the most informative.
Have a great doctor here, and nurses are decent and non judgemental unlike other clinics I've gone too
Well this place will help save your life, but, you have to be willing to do the work! It's definitely worth the effort.
Its all in how you carry yourself while your their, if you need help ask for it. Ranting amd raving around the clinic being aggressive is gonna get you treated differently. Go in and be a normal decent person, be… civilized for christ sakes your experience will be much more positive. In the end like you, there only doing there job. Ive been there 6 years and ive never ever had an issue everyone's very nice and makes my short time there better, always talkative and very friendly. Without them i know i wouldn't be standing on this side of the ground. Where many of my friends and family unfortunately have lost their own fights and their no longer her with us today"RIP". So super thanks to all staff for all that you guys do each and everyday..
First of all I got to say I had a very good experience up to this point and hopefully continue a great experience with everyone here in the three months that I have been here. This team has been great and have gone way… above and beyond . I also can compare from the clinic in Orlando that I was in beforehand . I agree 100 percent with the comment that the entire system sucks. It sure does but understand that there are federal guidelines they must abide by. Sometimes believe it or not when you screw up the system is not in your favor. However, thankfully I haven't screwed up. I've overcome many obstacles to work the system in my behalf. There is much help from this caring staff when you try on your part. Thank you for going way above and beyond Jen, Robin, Dr. Carteli, Erin, all the beautiful ladies at the front desk, and nurses! Seriously, I could not have come this far without and look forward to your help moving forward. Thank you so much! For everone that's going here have faith on the system but first and foremost have faith in yourself! You can do it and will!
You know I just have to say on behalf of all of fellow addicts including myself that yes the clinic can be very difficult to deal with at times and very frustrating to deal with at times and some people that are staff… members there do not deserve to have the degrees or the position that they have but that is life and unfortunately that is something that we have to deal with when we are sober we have to deal with life on life's terms! I can only say that through all my experiences good and bad I am extremely grateful for the clinic and I would be dead on the street somewhere if it wasn't for them!! I wouldn't be in the process of getting my two beautiful children back or in the process of buying a brand new home if it wasn't for the clinic!! So thank you very much and I am forever grateful!! 😘😍🙏🙋
The whole system sucks ............. without us your nothing more than a certified drug dealer scum....................... do your self a favor, do not come here. They do not care about you. God for bid you do something… wrong,,, they love to hold your medicine over your head, so you become a slave to whatever they say...
