I go to the methadone clinic here. All I can say is if I didn't have to I wouldnt. I feel judged and I feel like they dont treat u right. They are rude and stuck up and have ZERO compassion towards you or your… situation. Just an FYI. Also if being given a hard time is your thing come here. Giving you a hard time is there ultimate turn on I sweaaarrr. The ppl who check u in are nice. Dont get me wrong. But the ppl like the nurses and ppl st the dosing window are so rude and just every time I go in there I leave so annoyed. Its a let down and I miss my old clinic. Im only here cuz I need to be close to my doctor's office for the next couple weeks. When the lawrence mass seems like the Hilton or filet mingon compared to this place, you KNOW its BAD. & again it's al about how I've been treated since coming here. They are just not helpful, don't care. Ive never met such un compassionate nurses and Healthcare team in general. If u have a car, options, like pt1 or arent even in the area and u can go somewhere else then DO IT!!! save urself the headaches. Thanks have a good day.
I got here last night at 9:30pm…. People have come in hours after me and got their intake done last night…. It’s now 6:30AM & I’m STILL here waiting in a hard ass chair in the lobby… I came here for help and you guys… have done nothing to make me feel welcomed. Never has this happened to me before. I will never come back here again idc what the circumstances are. But what do you expect going to treatment in MA… you’re better off going to rehab in south Florida
The people that work at this clinic are very nice people. The service is extremely fast and they treat you like a normal person instead of just an addict. I highly recommend this place to anybody who is on their… recovery journey.
If I COULDGIVE THIS PLACE 0 STARTS I WOULD! This place along with the Tewksbury location needs to either find new staff who are fully trained in patient care or shut down both places all together. There are many nurses… and other medical professionals working here who either don't know what they're doing or don't care for their patients. Just employed here for a paycheck. Patients come here to seek help from medical professionals who can provide non-judgmental and compassionate care. The sad part is that from the moment intake begins professional patient care is thrown right out the window. I understand some patients that come in may be non compliant or may take advantage but there are also other patients who come here that just want to get better and receive advice on how they can carry on healthy habits outside of the clinic. As a medical professional you should be able to distinguish the three. Why is it that patients aren't feeling comfortable here? When medication is given to patients its like trial an error. What may work for one patient may not work for the next patient...why doesn't this clinic understand this but other clinics do? This clinic was last resort because every other clinic my husband's pcp and I called were full and my husband just wanted to get in somewhere sooner than later. I'm sure as you can see by the other reviews nothing has changed here. Its a complete mess. The district manager/ site manager, the head nurse, and the medical director need to have a meeting to get on the same page because it seems there is no communication here. Rules are changing everyday and my husband was told 3 different things from 3 different people regarding medication administration and education. UNACCEPATBALE. I have had my husband come here twice. He is not ashamed of his illness but when he comes here the staff make him feel worse about himself and don't help with treatment to the best of their ability. The staff here treat their patients more like prisoners rather than patients in need of care...How is that people are still able to sneak in drugs in here? Why are there ants crawling around patient beds? LAHEY DO BETTER!!!!!!
Please….. somebody needs to evaluate this place ASAP!more harm than good.please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
Danvers CAB saved my life. Sure it might not be the most comfortable sleeping arrangements, and food might suck. But it was exactly what I needed to experience to get and stay clean. The only employee I remember was a… case worker named Bob that was extremely caring ak the time out of his day to keep my family updated on my progress. I am forever grateful for Danvers CAB!
I went there about 5 years ago so not sure if much has changed but when I went for like the 6th or 7th time I appreciated the place cuz I was sick n tired of being sick n tired! Tired of chasing heroin and tired of… being sick. I can't say anything about the methadone clinic cuz I didn't go for that. There is no quick or painless way to get clean so it's going to be a miserable time but so worth it. I loved the staff, liked the food. There was a woman cook/chef idk but she was dynamite! Especially with what they have to work with. Speaking of, the staff has us to work with. Miserable, suicidal, mental cases! Not the most pleasant people at times. I believe the neg. ratings are from the younger people possibly spoiled? Who knows. IF YOU SERIOUSLY WANT TO GET CLEAN THIS PLACE IS A GREAT START! GET THE FURTHER TREATMENT! IT WORKS IF YOU WANT IT TO! Be honest with yourself about your character defects and work to fix them. THEY WILL HELP YOU GET TO THE BOTTOM OF WHY WE USE! ABSTINENCE IS NOT ENUFF! YOU DIDN'T BECOME AN ADDICT OVERNIGHT, NOR WILL YOU BECOME HEALTHY AGAIN OVERNIGHT! YOU ARE WORTH IT! THEY CAN AND WILL HELP YOU! TRY IT THEIR WAY CUZ YOUR WAY SUCKS! good luck!
Bad customer service, spend 30 mints, no one assist me
Danvers detox saved my life.
This clinic since being taken over by Lahey has become a joke. It is run by incompetent people who daily hold doses, dont do PT-1 yearly renewals (which has been done in the 12 yrs I have been going. Told by Directir… Nicole that tbey dont need to do it but have been a always. They haven't had a medical director on 3 plus months..Speaking of the methodone director Nicole, she comes in around 9 - 930. After clinic closes. She has never in 2 yrs come downstairs to see clients or observe what is going on. What does she do than. Nobody even sees her! Unprofessional, mean-spirited. Their answer is go to another clinic if you dont like it! I am a licensed drug & alcohol counselor myself so when I say this clinic is harmful and confrontational I know from experience . I haven't seen a counselor since early November .
Looking for help? Go there. It's clean, in a good area to clear the mind and the staff are helpful and friendly. Although be prepared to wait cause it is timely.
Awful place awful people the new director Nichole dose not care about any patients they make people stand outside only allowing a few at a time in the building even if it’s freezing out they only let everyone in if it’s… under 18 degrees Other than that it’s not their problem Everything is not their problem and they don’t help you if a emergency comes up and u can’t make a group it’s put at a refusal they do everything they can to get you kicked off most employees do not belong working in this field they are not educated enough in addiction to do so I was working full time over 40 hours a week but some how I was supposed to attend groups and meeting at 10 am Monday-Friday I need my job to support my family but again they say not their problem They never answer the phone it’s difficult to get a person on the phone Please find another Clinc because this place will only hurt your recovery
Helpful services
Very good program as long as you want recovery for yourself and don't break rules.
Very bad people. Monster. They have no heart.
Just awful... Do yourself a favor and find a place that will actually help you get clean. The staff treat you like streetwalking jerks that are totally beneath them... One or two are nice. Its as though theyve never… delt with someone in acute withdrawal. SHUT IT DOWN.
