About Madison East Comprehensive Treatment C – Madison

5109 World Dairy Drive in Madison puts Madison East Comprehensive Treatment C inside a short drive of Monona, McFarland and the towns around them. The practical catchment runs to roughly 8 miles, covering Cottage Grove, Maple Bluff, Madison and Shorewood Hills. Madison sits in Dane County, and the county’s own provision is limited enough that this site draws from a wide area.

Madison East Comprehensive Treatment C delivers detox, intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Medication-assisted treatment is part of the offer, the approach with the strongest evidence for opioid dependence. Telehealth appointments are available, which matters where the drive is long. Dedicated support for veterans is available. Licensing sits with the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, alongside federal SAMHSA registration.

Madison East Comprehensive Treatment C – Madison Detox and Rehab Services

Madison East Comprehensive Treatment C – Madison provides detox, intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Withdrawal is managed under clinical observation before other treatment begins, which matters most in the first seventy-two hours for alcohol and benzodiazepines. Day programming is scheduled, with evenings spent at home.

The focus here is on one side rather than combined treatment, so anyone needing both should confirm what is available. Medication-assisted treatment combines approved medication with counseling and clinical review. Confirm what a program covers before committing to it. What suits one person will not suit another, so ask directly.

Right now it feels like the system prioritizes locking the doors at 10:00 over basic patient care and communication. That needs to change . If you want patients to feel like they are getting meaningful help, you don’t… leave them crying and breaking down at the front door at closing time , I think initiating more caring counselors is a good first step , people who are receiving treatment are human and deserve caring staff who want to advocate and push for their sobriety, and that extends to even if they are 30 seconds late . I feel it is a moral obligation to answer the door and I find that many of the counselors and staff have trouble answering that question themselves. What is more important ? Our sobriety ,and knowing we have a solid team that wants to better the community for the long term or initiating and implementing a harsh close time ? I’m Sickened by the decision some of the staff here make. It felt traumatizing to know that I had beat traffic and nearly risked my life speeding to get to the clinic as it was only open for 3 hours. I got there at 9:59 and it closed at 10, to which I turned and saw a staff member physically running to his car. It was unprofessional and almost taunting to watch. It was almost , mocking as he drove slowly.by me without saying a word . I felt inhuman. Tears down my face. They like to remind us that it’s not just us that does the work … but days like this make me feel every bit of the word alone.

I just watched this facility turn away a woman who comes here every single day faithfully. Someone I personally know depends on this place to stay sober. A lot of us don’t have flexible schedules. Some people only have… a short window on their lunch break. I’m one of them. I usually come between 10:00 and 11:30. I’ve seen people walk up right at 11:30 and try to open the door, and I’ve seen staff sit behind the glass and just stare as those people break down crying, knowing they now have to figure out how to not get violently sick. There’s something called morals and integrity. I have not seen that here. The staff do exactly what their job requires and nothing more. It’s obvious they’re overworked, exhausted, and just trying to get through the day for a paycheck. And that’s a problem when you’re dealing with people who are literally fighting for their lives. Most of us are required to be in therapy while on methadone because we’re going through major life changes and need support. But the counselors here are overbooked, underpaid, and it shows. Some of them genuinely seem like they hate their job, and a few carry themselves in a way that makes you feel beneath them. I remember the moment I realized what kind of place this was. My counselor told me she had never experienced addiction and didn’t truly understand it. The way it was said made me feel small, like I was being looked down on instead of supported. If places like this were run with real care, authenticity, and people who actually understand addiction, this could be a safe place for people trying to rebuild their lives. Right now, it doesn’t feel that way. And let’s talk about the reviews. They hand out king size candy and treats in exchange for writing good reviews. Everyone here knows methadone causes intense sugar cravings. That candy is put right in front of you at the desk, in a space with no privacy, so you feel pressured to leave something positive. That’s not honest, and it’s not right. We’re also supposed to have regular counseling sessions. This month, we’ve met once for maybe 20 to 30 minutes. That’s not enough support for what people here are dealing with. Do better. People’s lives depend on it.

I guest dosed at this clinic. My trip was very last minute and I was concerned I wouldn’t get it set up in time, but this clinic got it done in less than 24 hours. They were very responsive and called me multiple times… to make sure everything was moving forward as expected. I can’t say enough good things about the ease and speed with which they made the process work. If only all clinics worked this efficiently and with this much care for their patients (and I’m not even really one of this clinic’s patients)!!

Latisha was my counselor. I'm so upset to hear she is no longer there. She is a great counselor and gives a crap about me. I'm incredibly upset that she's gone and I have to start with a brand new counselor that doesn't… know much about me. Very upset by this.

Medicine East Ctc lost a huge asset To their company The day that Leticia Landing said goodbye not only was she an amazing counselor From what I hear she was an amazing friend An amazing co-worker And I know for a fact… a woman with an amazing heart When things got dark in my life Leticia Would show me the light When I felt hopeless She reminded me The meaning of Hope She told me she would believe in me until I believed in myself And she did just that When she told me we're going to walk through this journey together She meant it and she did it Leticia is a very personal Individual with a kind heart A beautiful soul And if you are serious about your sobriety She is the person I would want for my wingman And now I lost that very person That I felt safe With Period I'm a patient That comes every two weeks The option to have phone sessions with Leticia was given to me I chose to opt hour to Sitting in her presence At something I looked forward to She was a constant Somebody I trusted deeply And anybody that is iTeachern recovery KNOWS that trust is very difficult for us! She was a loyal human being! You lost something so Special! She was part of the fabric to make that clinic a success. I could go on about what this facility has lost, Unfortunately I MUST go on without someone important to me, that I HAVE LOST! I lost a friend, a mentor, a teacher, A ROCK, a pillar to THAT Community! Someone I Let into my heart, And you YES CORPORATE Took that away! Latisha was part of MY JOURNEY, MY story, MY sobriety! my heart has a HUGE empty hole! A hole that can NOT and WILL NOT be filled &THIS IS WHY when God made Letisha Landing, He broke the mold! But that is something Letisha taught me, to BE STRONG And I will be strong for you Leticia I will not be broken By the clinic By anybody Or anything I will stand strong & I WILL BE THE WARRIOR that you, MY FRIEND, taught me to be! Thank you for believing in me It is because of you that I now believe in myself Comma I am going down On my milligrams Comma and by the grace of God And my footwork I will be out of that building within a year And not putting any poison in my body One day at a time

I have been going to the clinic for over 11 years. Every single good counselor ( IVE HAD OVER 15) has left because of how corporate treats not only the patients but their own staff. Now you are losing the best thing… that happened to your location, Latishia. This does not only show your lack of concern for the crisis but how you operate only about the money not to help your community. Do you really think some donuts in the morning are going to change that. Hell No, start showing appreciation to the ones that go up and beyond. The new counselors in there don't give a crap about you as a person and don't do their job most of the time. It's just a matter of time.

So as of right now I would say it 5 stat because of Latisha!!!!!! Latisha is amazing! She is a counselor who actually listens to you helps you guides to make better choices, and most of all she fights for her patients!… If Latisha were to leave my 5 star would be a 1 star cause she is the reason I'm still there. Yes there are some other good people there like the receptionist Gina and some good nurses Flav, Sarah, and Karmen. However, they are not counselors I have a horrible intake when I started. When I started I was put at 20mgs and sat at that dose for 3months or longer even though I have clean drug screens! I worked hard trying to do my best and I need to go up and dose however I fell thru the cracks. I didn't have a counselor for 6 months so I couldn't get anywhere no matter the hard work I had done. They set me up with a counselor lai Lani who was leaving when I started and they knew she was leaving. 6 months and no meetings with a single counselor! Eventually I brought up my issues to a counselor who was oddly enough latisha and she helped me even though I wasn't her patient. Thanks to her I ended up with a counselor Rachel got a dose increase and started phasing immediately! Finally my hard work got noticed. Eventually Rachelle ended choosing to leave cause of how she was treated along with a doctor and they started a business together. When I found out Rachelle was leaving I told her the only way I would stay is if I got the counselor of my choosing I didnt want to fall through the cracks again! So, I told Rachelle before she left that I'll only stay if I get Latisha as my counselor! However, latisha was already over her max for patients but the director let latisha make the final decision wether or not if she was willing to take on another patient considering she was already over by 8 patients! That is how I got latisha as my most amazing counselor, and she has done nothing short of amazing ever since. Everytime she has been in many unreasonable positions by the clinic and she has always done her best and rise above just so she can be there for her patients! There has many times she has been pushed to the brink by the clinic but she has always stayed out of care and concern for her patients. A person can only be pushed so many times before enough is enough and now because how she is treated by the let's use the term "the man" I'm about to lose the only counselor who has always gone above and beyond for her patients meaning me as well. The one person who has always been on my side and helped me stay clean no matter what and helped guide me through tough times! It's not fair I'm in tears knowing that she is leaving it hurts! There is nothing I can do she has been pushed to her breaking point and it sucks!!!!!!! I DONT WANT TO LOSE HER SHE IS TRUELY AMAZING BEYOND BELIEF!!!!! ITS JUST NOT FAIR!!!!! anytime I think about her leaving I cry because I don't wanter her to leave i feel helpless but I know she needs to worry about her not just her patients so this is my way of telling her just how amazing she has been! If only she wasn't leaving it sucks I wish I could do something to keep her there but I don't work or run the clinic so I cant do anything to keep her there and it's really is just heart breaking knowing I can't do anything to get her to stay. This is only way I can at least let her know how I feel thank you latisha for always caring you truly are amazing beyond belief!!!!!!!!!

M here to share my thoughts about my counselor Latisha Lambert, she is the best counselor, friend I have ever had! She truly cares about all of us! We can call on her at anytime we need her or just to talk, she… understands us and give the best advise! I remember a time when I had no ride into the clinic and was scared I would mess up my 8 year recovery but she talked me through it and everything was just fine. It gave me confidence to start down dosing and seeing an end at the tunnel! I truly hope that the center sees what a great gift she is to the people that need her and never let her go! Latisha you are truly family to me!

I have been going to the clinic since July 2011. Up until my current counselor Latisha who I’ve had for the past 9 years or so Ive had several counselors who I never developed trust with. I am someone who needs security… and consistency and I found that with Latisha. Through good times in my treatment and bad she supports me and try’s to get to the root of the problem to get past whatever I’m going through. She is extremely dependable and I never worry that she won’t be there when I need to talk to her. She cares about her patients and their well being. She took the time to listen and learn about who I am and my family. I’ve never encountered such a dedicated counselor. Her only goal was to help me be successful at the clinic and beyond. It is rare to have someone like her as a treatment counselor and I’m doubtful I’d find it again. Before I had Latisha as a counselor I wouldn’t recommend Madison East comprehensive treatment center. I would have rated it 1 star because of counselor turn around and lack of true caring and long lines.. But after a year of having Latisha I would’ve rated a 4 and now 5. Latisha IS NOT replaceable! Thank you Latisha for all the years of top notch care!
