Neuro Wellness Spa – Pasadena

I highly recommend this place. I have been going for a couple of months and the TMS has worked significantly. The staff is amazing and super sweet. The location has plenty of parking. Dr. Barry is great! I am returning… client, so obviously I’d recommend anyone to go there :)

My experience with this practice was extremely frustrating, particularly when it came to billing and insurance. I chose this practice specifically because I understood that Dr. Benjamin Berry was in-network with my… Cigna insurance. When I later received a $215 bill, I contacted the office. After I explained that Cigna was showing the provider as out-of-network, the practice told me in writing that Dr. Berry was contracted with my insurance and that they would resubmit the claim for in-network reprocessing. They also explicitly told me that the balance would be placed on hold while this was being handled. The problem was that I was never informed of the outcome. I heard nothing further about the claim, and I reasonably believed the matter was being handled. Months later, after I had already been discharged as a patient, I received an invoice stating that the balance was due, along with a collection warning. I contacted Cigna myself and ultimately confirmed that Dr. Berry was not in-network for my plan and that the $215 was my responsibility under my out-of-network benefits. I accept that this was Cigna's final determination, but the way the practice handled the situation was unacceptable. I was given conflicting information about the provider's network status, told that the claim would be reprocessed, and then never informed of the outcome before the bill resurfaced months later. In the end, I paid the balance, even though I remain very dissatisfied with how the matter was handled. And now receiving a “FINAL NOTICE” after the balance has already been paid is an especially frustrating way for this experience to end. Patients should not have to repeatedly chase down both the provider and their insurance company to figure out what happened to a bill that the practice had already said was being handled.

I'll always wonder how life would be different if I had done this like 20yrs ago. This place is really great, I highly recommend exploring tms treatment. I'd recommend sooner than later, it's quite relaxing and by week… 2 I enjoyed going there. Cassandra and Selina were my main techs, super supportive and comforting through the treatment. You can tell they care about everybody and it really helps the process as you'll be seeing the techs often. I feel like their attitudes truly helped me progress and get the most out of tms. Dr.Berry made the intro to the process very clear and explained any questions I had throughout our meetings. Being able to comfortably talk with a doctor and feel those conversations provide insight truly sets up patients for success. Lindsey also filled in for a couple sessions of mine and she was great too. Attentive and caring as well.

A 5 star well deserved! Every staff member I've interacted with have been incredibly accommodating and empathetic. Treatment actually feels relaxing instead of like a chore.

Quiet, calm environment with a very friendly staff. I do TMS therapy with Selina and Cassandra and they have both been awesome to work with. Highly recommend.

I am so grateful I found Neurowellness! They introduced me to TMS to help manage my depression and anxiety, and after two or so months, I can confidently say TMS worked for me. Dr Berry and all the office technicians,… especially Cassandra and Selina, were absolutely wonderful throughout the whole process. I was a bit nervous in the beginning of my treatment, but they went out of their way to make me comfortable and relaxed during my daily time in the office. I would recommend Neurowellness, and specifically TMS, to anyone struggling with depression, especially if medication has not worked for you.

amazing staff with amazing care. everyone i’ve encountered at neuro wellness has been so kind and accommodating to me. i was so nervous to start TMS, as my journey with mental health hasn’t been the best with medication… but Dr Barry is very professional while also very understanding. Selina, Lindsay, and Cassandra are such great people, they make me feel comfortable and I always feel very cared for. if you’re looking for a team that not only supports your needs but also provides a space for you to be open and safe, this is the place for you! while mental health help can be daunting and scary, neuro wellness at pasadena will make you feel heard and comfortable!

i’ve had dr ben berry and kelly hobbs as both my doctor and nurse practitioner for tms, and boy has it made a difference. i sleep better, im able to have a productive day without the moments of doubt, and the staff has… been helpful and supportive throughout. i now recommend tms to all my friends, and the santa monica location has been great for medication management
