I recently completed the Intensive Outpatient Program at New Day Recovery Services, and I can confidently say that my experience was exceptional from beginning to end. This is a truly well-rounded substance abuse… treatment program that goes above and beyond in supporting its clients through every stage of recovery. The program itself is comprehensive, structured, and thoughtfully designed. It incorporates a variety of evidence-based approaches, including weekly Dharma and SMART Recovery techniques, which provided practical and realistic tools for maintaining sobriety and building a healthier mindset. The curriculum is balanced in a way that addresses not only substance use, but also emotional health, personal accountability, and long-term stability. One of the most impactful parts of my experience was working with my clinician, Dawnya. She is a phenomenal therapist—insightful, compassionate, and genuinely dedicated to her clients. Her ability to connect, listen without judgment, and provide meaningful guidance made a significant difference in my recovery journey. She consistently created a safe space where growth and honesty were encouraged. I would also like to recognize Ross, the client coordinator, who was truly amazing. He is extremely approachable, responsive, and always willing to help. Whether it was answering questions, helping navigate scheduling, or simply checking in, Ross made the process smooth and stress-free. His professionalism and supportive attitude added tremendous value to the overall experience. Instructor Trish was another standout. She is highly engaging and incredibly insightful in her instruction. Her sessions were not only informative but also thought-provoking, encouraging real reflection and participation. She has a way of presenting material that resonates on a deeper level, making it easier to apply the lessons to everyday life. The entire team of instructors deserves recognition as well. Every individual I encountered was kind, considerate, and compassionate. They consistently demonstrated a willingness to go above and beyond to assist and meet the needs of each participant. It’s clear that they are deeply committed to helping clients succeed. An additional highlight of the program was the weekly yoga and meditation sessions. These were incredibly insightful and therapeutic, providing a much-needed opportunity to slow down, reflect, and reconnect mentally and physically. These sessions added an important holistic element to the program and were instrumental in stress reduction and emotional balance. The facility itself is also excellent. It is consistently neat, clean, well-structured, and highly organized. The environment feels safe, welcoming, and conducive to healing and personal growth. Overall, I highly recommend New Day Recovery Services to anyone seeking substance abuse treatment. The level of care, professionalism, and genuine compassion provided by the staff make this program truly exceptional. This experience has been meaningful, impactful, and something I am genuinely grateful for.

The management is amazing, they do you special favors and buy stuff if you're prettier than everyone else. Real professional.

New Day has been a Godsend for me! I left another rehab and came here a few days later. I've learned & have had the most support from here than I had ever dreamed of. All of the counselors care deeply about your… success/journey. From Ross up front, to the office manager, Debra, they're amazing and I can't give everyone enough praise for being a stable foundation in my recovery! Forever indebted to these fabulous carrying individuals! 🩷 Trish, a counselor, and Ross changed my life... From taking us to the Comfort Cafe, then puppy therapy at the shelter... These people are AMAZING!

I’m the most difficult person for a review but these guys have really earned this one. All the staff really cares about the clients and achieving their long term recovery. I’m at another sober living and wow what a… difference in so many of the small aspects that aren’t skipped at new day like UAs, weekly meetings, small troubleshooting talks, etc. Stephanie was my therapist and she’s really caring and easy to talk to you and gives sound advise. This place may be a little more in terms of sober living rates but it’s well worth it from my own experience. My only regret is not staying longer.

Hello.my name is Garrett johnson I started I New Day like four months ago for alcohol. The therapists have been in the same shoes I been in and they are there for u in your journey to recovery. Everyone shoes are… different but what they teach u and the knowledge u get from Mrs. Debra, that's the first Lady u meet there. Will help you in your life. An always remember one day at a time. New day really does care bout your recovery, but u have to want it. Read the Big book, get a sponsor, hit meetings in ur schedule. An when u get in a tight sport call them even Mrs. Debra she will move mountains to keep you sober. So to.anyone heading to New Day God will be with u and good lucky in your recovery!!!

New Day is the place to go into New Recovery I’ve gotten to learn so many communication ,coping skills and much more the outings they have are amazing and memorable places to check out didn’t know how this has in-packed… in my life. Staff members and our counselors are amazing and friendly and they can relate to us and make it so much fun to be at. Thank You New Day for everything you guys do for us.

I attend the Wednesday night veteran group at 6 p.m., and every time I go, I feel welcomed and leave feeling empowered. The staff is amazing, and they always have snacks and coffee ready for us. I completed the PHP and IOP program at New Day recovery services in San Antonio, Texas. This is a wonderful place for anyone looking to change their life and find a new way to live. Also, I found out why I did the… things that I did in my addiction. I learned more about myself in the past three months then I have the past 30 years. I definitely feel that is conducive for my sobriety. They accept People from all different walks of life and made me feel loved and part of the family. New Day Recovery connected with me and supported me when I was facing some challenges. Debbie and her team diligently helped and gave many programs and information for me. Amazing Place amazing staff amazing counselors you can call them anytime and they will pick up the phone one Best facility for drug addiction, and alcoholism. Learn a lot of new things that I didn’t learn in other… facilities, the counselors and staff make you feel at home. I would highly recommend this place.
