Parkman Recovery Center – Warren Detox and Rehab Services

Parkman Recovery Center – Warren appears on the register for detox, residential treatment and intensive outpatient. Withdrawal is managed under clinical observation before other treatment begins, which matters most in the first seventy-two hours for alcohol and benzodiazepines. Day programming is scheduled, with evenings spent at home. The right level of care is a clinical judgement rather than a preference, and an assessment should produce a defined answer.

The record does not show integrated provision, so confirm this if it matters. Approved medication is paired with counseling and regular review. Ask directly about session times and frequency, as those details decide whether someone can realistically attend.

I was a patient here for about 43 days. Sobriety and education of addiction is what you learn here. It's tough tough work and takes up most of the day. It can be really overwhelming at first but you must give it time… and have the mindset of wanting to get sober. When I got a routine set up and opened up to the staff this place ended up being a god send. When you let go of control and hand it over to professionals this place will change your life. The staff there is amazing and I really connected to them and can say they have positively impacted my life. I hold my time and experience here close to my heart and without Parkman I would probably still be using drugs or dead. If you want to get sober and learn to stay sober I recommend Parkman.

This place sucks. The techs are nice and actually care shoutout ant, natalie, and shannon. The rest of this place is all in it for the money. Miss Jeanette doesn't understand how private insurance works. I was trying to… go out to california for continued treatment and she was trying her hardest to not let me, she lied and said she sent my insurance and ID to the place in california but once i got out i found out she never did. I am writing this from california now and this place is an actual treatment facility with groups that really help. Jake is a good counselor at parkman. While i was at parkman the two supervisors got fired for fraud and multiple techs quit leading to alot of changes. The rules basically changed everyday which was annoying because I was never able to create a routine. The nurse tina is also very kind and helpful. If you want recovery, i urge you to go to glenbeigh or somewhere out of state if you have the insurance to do so.

honestly nothing nice to say other than wrongfully firing workers. A couple months ago they had the males working in the female house when that’s not allowed, mice in one of the houses. It’s a recovery place yet… everyone is still allowed to bring vapes and cigarettes in as well as the staff.

So I took a family member in there because there's nothing else we could do and he's been in and out of rehabs and alcoholic abuse and we got recommended that place and all sudden now nowhere we get a really rude and… nasty call from a person who works from that place and they were doing the whole guilt tripping thing basically saying that we don't care about the family member being rude and hateful the entire call and I honestly don't think I'd ever want to deal with them personally again after that experience I've had with them and this is two calls we had to deal with the people being really rude to us to the family members who brought our family member into the rehab to be taken care of

Oh BOY!!!! Let me tell you the experience I had. At first, they treated me with AMAZING care, I mean my situation was definitely different, but they treated me good & used the RIGHT medicines that had me barely feeling… any symptoms. For YEARS my anxiety had been an issue but lately it’s been so bad it’s been causing me dizziness, panic, heart racing & just all out terror. Worst it’s ever been, but ONE time I seen the doctor after YEARS of doctors getting it wrong & he NAILED IT. Propranolol I believe it’s called, worked miracles for me. As the days went on I noticed things, my symptoms were coming back and I was taking a lot of meds for my symptoms so I didn’t know if they were even giving me the propranolol. Or maybe they slowed it down who knows. BUT, through my 7 day detox I noticed EVERY BODY who asked me if I was staying the 30 days that I said NO to, gave me a disgusting look. One of the nurses or cases workers I’m not sure her role exactly but I do know one thing, she LIED TO MY FACE about something VERY VERY SERIOUS. Like I said that medication worked miracles for me & she came into my room 2 to 3 days before me leaving and told me the doctor was gonna leave me with a prescription to get me through until I see the doctor, as I go to check out I mentioned it to the nurse and to their surprise but for some reason not mine, they had no clue what I was talking about. THEN, When I POINTED to her & SAID she was the ONE who TOLD ME the doctor was gonna leave me the prescription she looked away & played dumb. LIED TO MY FACE. Now I’m suffering, & have NOTHING, still having symptoms but you know what the first thing they will say, go to the ER because they don’t wanna take responsibility for LYING TO MY FACE. I can’t legally tell you to not go to this place, but I can legally tell you my experience. The fact they let me walk out of that place still having symptoms is DISGUSTING. “OH, But you chose to leave, & not stay for the 30 day program” yea, you’re right, I did choose to leave but yall should’ve kept yall word & yall should GIVE people something to TAKE HOME UNTIL THEY SEE THEIR OWN DOCTOR. Now thanks to them I’m literally back to square one. Oh the WORST PART YALL WILL LOVE THIS THE CASE MANAGER looked me DEAD IN THE EYES SAID “I WILL CALL YOU” Right before I left she told me looking SO SERIOUS BUT GUESS WHAT??? She never called I CALLED THEN THATS WHEN THEY TOLD ME THEY “NEVER TOLD ME” they was gonna give or CALL in a script for me to take home. Im beyond disgusted & if I could’ve recorded that conversation where she told me the doctor was gonna give me that medicine to take home, you guys would be doing back flips right now. I’ve been a lot of things in my life but one thing I ain’t never been is fake or a liar.

Parkman Recovery is by far the BEST Recovery Center Within Warren & it's surrounding counties .! I first Came to Parkman The Beginning of 2021 After Using for 10years. The Staff Here Are by far the friendliest People I… have ever encountered in my life. The way they care for / about you is something I can't even put into words. I Did have to make another trip to Parkman Recovery at the end of 2021 (November) Because I did have a Slip but The Staff here welcomed me back with open arms and I can't describe how important that was for me. The Fear of judgement is absent with Parkman Recovery. They do not care if you come through their doors once or a dozen times, they're just happy that you do come back if need be because as we all know, most of us do not get that chance to make it back. Parkman Recovery is like a second family to me and I'm happy and at ease knowing that if I do need help down the road, they will be there to provide me with that help.! I'am currently 1Year-5Months and 15Days Clean.!! And It all started with me Walking through the doors at Parkman Recovery.!!!!

This place should be SHUT DOWN. They give all the power to the addict to make decisions. As most of you know, addiction is a bit ofca mental illness. I took my tragic alchoholic boyfriend there after he FINALLY decided… to sober up. I prayed for his sobriety for 13 years. He was advised to get rid of me!!! The only purpose that supported him and put up with his abuse (physical and mental). They do not give goodxadvice and there is ZERO support or suggestions for the recovery of the family or loved ones!!!! Go elsewhere!!!

Deciding to go through Parkman was by far the best decision I have ever made. I've been through all off the local treatment centers and always left missing something I've needed to stay clean and I would always find… myself back where I started. Parkman is the only treatment center that works on all aspects of the problems and allows to to heal accordingly. And it does it in an environment thats uplifting and makes you want to stay. All off the staff are incredibly helpful and nice. They want you to succeed and will often go out of their way for you. The facility is practically brand new and the detox process is probably the most comfortable one around. The best part is you are allowed to smoke almost every hour which is a must in rehab. The food and snacks are good and you will never go hungry here. Outside of programming, you have a lot of free time to have fun and work on the spirit side of things. You can play corn hole, they have TV(in your detox room or at the extended care houses), they take you to do things outside of the facility such as a meeting once you're there long enough. Overall I can't say good enough things about Parkman. As with anyplace there are a couple downsides but they are always working on improving and the good far outweighs any bad there may be. And there isn't much bad to speak of. So if you are thinking about going then Parkman should be your choice. Im glad it was my choice and only wish I had found this place years ago!

We have worked with Parkman Recovery Center for almost three years. We have had the opportunity to share "Joey's Story" to the clients, and as a co-founder of Bellevue Recovery and Support Services, Parkman is one of… the first places we go to when assisting someone into a program. If you have a loved one who is struggling, or you ARE that loved one, Parkman Recovery Center is a facility that will offer the help, the hope, the foundation for a life of sobriety.

Parkman Recovery Center is my jam, period. Everyone from the cleaning lady all the way up to the Clinical Director and the CEO are approachable and friendly. The medical staff is wonderful and caring, the clinical staff… is insightful and terrifically good-looking. The accommodations are very comfortable, they really make you feel at home. The food is great, REALLY great as a matter of fact. They make 3 meals fresh to order every day. We never had it so good I tell ya. You know back in my day we had TV dinners for breakfast, lunch, AND dinner when we went to rehab, AND WE WERE DAMN THANKFUL TO HAVE EM. But I digress.... The ladies up front are very friendly and helpful. Overall I would say I wish I had more hands.... So I could give this facility 4 THUMBS UP.

I have been interacting with the staff of Parkman Road Recovery for a little over a year now. I’ve had the pleasure of observing them in the approach to treatment and recovery. I have also had an opportunity to… volunteer to run an ongoing Spirituality Group offering meditation and mindfulness to the clients. I would definitely rate them as a 9 on a 10 point scale, they could be a 10 but no one is perfect. We also now have the experience of seeing quite of few of their clients after treatment out in the community and most are doing well and maintaining sobriety.
