I appreciate the patience my therapist has for me and my psychiatrist is also excellent.

Everyone I have been to at the agent has been amazing. They have been crystal clear in their processes and very quick to respond.

Constant run around trying to get scheduled with a provider. They clearly don't take mental health seriously. Which just compounds things for me, because I'm definitely struggling..

This place is the best. We played games the first time and she was very nice and she had a bunch of widgets and even a DUMPLING! It was really fun and I think it's gonna help me alot.

My experience has been outstanding. I'm attending the DBT program. The instructors teach it exceptionally well. They teach the lessons clearly and detailed. They are passionate and truly want me to succeed in building a… life worth living. The pace is perfect, not too fast, not too slow. I feel comfortable during the classes. Outside of the DBT program, my therapist is an expert in my condition. They provide me with compassionate care. I feel heard, understood and cared for in each therapy session. I feel better afterwards. Since I'm in the DBT program, my therapist can give me strategies to work through things in my life. Any therapist with these advanced skills can be very effective for any patient. The front desk staff greets me warmly when I check-in for my appointments. They can call me by name which makes me feel good. Special. To wrap it up, Sagent is wonderful. I recommend them to everyone.

Hi, my name is Ron , I have struggled with personal or mental health issues most of my life, Having severe social anxiety disorder, ADHD ,depression, Dyslexia and trauma from abuse. Due to my father being in the… service, I had moved about 20 times. I’ve been in therapy since kindergarten so needless to say I’ve had plenty of experience with different counselors and clinics., although I had received the best care from this clinic, I had taken time away from therapy to try to use all of the tools I was taught to cope with my disorders on my own and getting off my meds, after a few years, I’ve spiraled downhill and now I reasserted myself into professional help, and I’ve been very impressed with the professional help that I once again getting from this clinic, everyone struggles with one thing or another therefore Five of my close family members also use this clinic and have for many years and speaking for us. All we could not be more satisfied and are thankful that. this clinic has helped us throughout all of these years with meds and counseling, besides me taking time away from counseling, I can happily say that the rest of my family has been doing well for a number of years and continue to improve in every area of their life’s , personally, and as a family unit As Well . Staff was fine. No show fee of $107 is exorbitant and management is not understanding that people get can’t always know 24 hours ahead of time when their symptoms will exacerbate. My therapist lied to me and said if… that happens they will work with me and understand. That is not true. I have had back and forth conversations with the billing department and they refuse to help at all after I explained my situation. They have canned AI responses when you text them on the app so not even a real person responding which is just cold and unprofessional for a counseling center. I quit my therapist due to this and will go elsewhere. I have never experienced anything like this at other clinics. Definitely cannot recomment.

I’ve been to the Apple Valley and Eden Prairie locations and loved them. I recently moved near this one and my significant other has used them and loves them here! I recommed them!

John is wondering to talk to! He keeps you on point. Is straight forward! Ask something of him and you shall receive, if he can’t help you he will give you directions to whom could possibly help!

I was happily paying out of pocket for all of my daughters sessions. Then my daughter got health coverage from her absent father, who then removed her from his policy. Nystrom continued to see my daughter knowing she… was removed from the policy (I had no idea) and they let me rack up a huge bill without saying a word, even though i provided secondary insurance through my own employer. Then they call out of the blue and ask for a payment plan. I oblige, and pay on time for months until they realize they made a mistake, and I was not eligible for a payment plan, and they could no longer see my daughter.. right before a traumatizing trial. Uncanny, isn't it? They sent me off to collections, but they forgot some important steps. Classic Nystrom. Always just "forgetting!"

I love Mike Kerstetter, he is great! He really helps me cope and deal with things happening that I struggle with. He works in DBT.

I am very safe at Nystrom & Associates which creates and expresses a free and serene sense of being. I know in my "core" that my case manager at Nystrom & Associates cares deeply for me. I am always heard and affirmed… despite my need to change some things. My case manager/ therapist is able to keep me on track when my mind gets sidetracked with my fear. He is very attentive and incredibly intellectual emotional expert. And when the moment need him to be, he's also very accessible and compassionate meeting me where I am in all moments. Many thanks

I do not recommend this practice. My husband and I went for marriage counseling for about one year. Huge waste of money and time for us. From my perspective it was like going to play in a therapist little black box. All… these little therapy games and playing with toys in a sandbox. No input, feedback, suggestions or advice—nothing! The staff did nothing to ensure we were a good fit for the therapist other than asking if we’d prefer a boy or a girl therapist. In hindsight, our therapist was too inexperienced in both his job and too youthful to possess the wisdom acquired from experience that was required for the complexities of our marital problems. Once we saw a much older therapist in Stillwater—if I had to guess his age, I would say early sixties—who literally solved our biggest problem in 3 sessions. Not only do I feel like we got absolutely nowhere, but I feel we’re actually worse for the wear and the time spent there did more harm than good.
