Utah Family Therapy – American Fork

I love my UFT family! The Monday thru Thursday sesssions are great! I also meet with my individual therapist weekly.

I've really enjoyed going here. My therapist, Audrey, has been a great person to talk with. She's a great listener and I've always felt safe being open and vulnerable. I've never felt judged, rushed, or misrepresented.… I would recommend anyone looking for solid therapy to come here.

The communication is this office and the way they handle things will make mental health matters worse. I wouldn’t recommend this run down house with lack of experienced staff to anyone. If you care about your loved… ones, you should look elsewhere for help.

This place literally saved me when I hit rock bottom. Excellent staff, excellent services, excellent therapy, personalized to my needs. I have had many therapists for decades, none other has ever come close to how… amazing this place treated me. Keep up the heartwarming, life-changing, inspiring good work!!!

I have enjoyed going to this office, the office gals genuinely get to know you individually. Every issue that I’ve had they have resolved or accommodated me. Rowdy has been working with me via zoom and I haven’t met a… better therapist in the last few years. His wisdom, professionalism is what you desire to have with any therapist, all while giving you the comfort of talking to a long time friend. This therapy office works with multiple scheduling needs, in addition to helping clients online as well. If you need a therapist who is going to work with you and try to build good rapport with you this is definitely the place to go.

I had tried 5 therapists before I started coming to Mandy here at UFT and I will never see anyone else! My Wednesday with Mandy are the highlight of my week!

I am so glad I found this therapy facility. Mandy is amazing and has helped me to navigate the stress and anxiety of daily life. I feel safe when I go to therapy. The front desk staff are also so kind and welcoming and… make me feel comfortable. I highly recommend this facility.

First red flag, none of the profiles list education or experience. I waisted over a year and thousands of dollars going here to try to save my marriage when in every single and every couples session it made everything a… lot worse. I always left feeling worse than when I got there and never felt seen, or heard. I felt like the “therapist” was extremely bias towards my partner and was constantly judging and criticizing me. Book trained in emdr does not make you “trained” emdr is very dangerous if not performed correctly and I truly believe that because of the lack of experience it made me and my partner so much worse. I never knew that a therapist could yell at their clients and believe that it’s ok. You’re supposed to be helping a couple and not make their relationship worse by telling them to separate or by judging the other one in single sessions. Totally unprofessional. I wish I would have listened to myself after the first month of going here because there were so many red flags and found a better place to go with actually educated and experienced therapists.

This is the best clinic out there! From the office management to the therapists, they are all amazing! I highly recommend them!

I’ve benefited from Mandy Fairbanks’ help for years. I don’t think I’ve ever met someone with such a perfect balance of sensitivity and perspective. I could talk to her for hours. She has been a confidant of mine… through so many life experiences. She cares, she helps, she offers solutions, and her insight is unmatched. Truly. Amazing with teens, adults, couples, mothers, and can relate to many. Her knowledge encompasses all. I trust her implicitly! My journey through cancer would not have been possible without her. You are in amazing hands with Mandy Fairbanks!

Mandy Fairbanks is the best! She is so easy to talk to and is so good with our teenagers! I can’t recommend her enough!

Michael Anderson demonstrates all the sincerity, warmth, and professionalism you’d want in a therapist.

I would recommend Michael to anyone! He has a warm personality and does not judge. His kindness makes him very easy to open up to. His focus on a persons strengths makes him great at finding solutions. He has a genuine… desire to see people reach their full potential. Having worked with him on projects outside of a clinical setting, I can also say he’s very intelligent and driven to see results.

They are very personal and care about you personally. The therapists at Utah Family Therapy are very good at helping you heal from trauma. I really like their method of therapy. Our son is in the Intensive Outpatient… Therapy program. The time came to end the therapy but he did not want to quit and is still going. They have helped heal our family. I recommend them.

Would avoid this company. As they are first and foremost expensive. 600 a month is steep. And that’s just Counseling, add another 50-75 for weekly groups sessions.the Councelor was gold but seems there was very little… progress growth or improvement in regards to our scenario. The counselors are not aware of how billing operates. You’ll get told one thing by Councelor and then there billing will do something else. And the billing office doesn’t care. Kinda of funny how a business in the business of supposedly caring could care less. Don’t trust them you’ll get burned. And they will sooner throw you to collections than to simply reach out and have human contact to assist people or resolve scenarios. Too bad really. Got to have trust and they are not trustworthy. So my recommendation is find someone who cares. It’s clear there in it for the money not there clients well being. Most people dont need financial drama while dealing with psychological issues.
