VIP Community Services Inc – Bronx Detox and Rehab Services

VIP Community Services Inc – Bronx appears on the register for intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Day programming is scheduled, with evenings spent at home. A proper assessment sets the level rather than leaving it to guesswork, and it is worth asking for one explicitly.

The record does not show integrated provision, so confirm this if it matters. Medication-assisted treatment combines approved medication with counseling and clinical review. Ask directly about session times and frequency, as those details decide whether someone can realistically attend.

I’m currently at 764 VIP inpatient. The medical services are unbelievable! They are not willing to prescribe even simple medications. The food is absolute trash! Idk what they are doing with people’s food stamps but… it’s not going towards food that’s for sure. The only groups that haven’t been canceled in the 30 days I’ve been here are the peer ran groups. They have more employees in the billing department than they do for clients services. They are having people take their sleeping medication at 5:30 because there is no nurses available after that time. By far the worst program I’ve ever witnessed. I think they should be investigated for Medicare and Medicaid fraud. Please do yourself a favor and find another program!

This place known as VIP outpatient MMP program has done nothing but serve me for every possible need I could ask for. They understand the needs of me being a mom and having to travel all the way from queens to there… program. I have more then once should have lost my pickup schedule due to careless unresponsibilities but didnt all because of my worker/supervisor fighting for me to accommodate my needs and that im very greatful for. I would recommend 👌 this program to anyone that is serious about recovery. There's so many great things I can say about this place but instead I will let there actions due the talking. So please come and give yourself a chance at recovery. This is more then just a methadone maintenance program this is home for me. Thank you VIP program and staff. Your all the best and I will always come to you for any help I need and help others to come and get help also. God Bless VIP and staff!!! 😀❤️🩷🧡💛💚💙🩵💜🤎🩶🤍🖤💯🙏👏🙌🫶👍👍👍🤟

So I have a suggestion, you guys need to explain that VIP has different functions. For instance the methadone clinic closes at 11:30 am on Saturday and not 1pm as the website suggest because its a different clinic. Also… its says it closes at 7pm but the methadone clinic closes at 5. If these places are separate it needs to be said so people aren't missing the clinic. Thanks

Forever grateful, if you’re pregnant in active addiction please come to VIP. In the 2 years I’ve been going I’ve never been treated with anything other than the utmost respect everyone always asks about the baby and… genuinely care about how I’m doing. Marion is an exceptional counselor, I truly believe without her support and all the other staff of course I would’ve never come this far. Thank you guys. Anyone considering help please go and allow yourself to be helped because recovery is possible.

I graduated in 1996. Best decision I ever made was to go to Vip. I was assisted in furthering my education, addressing the issues in my life. Vip helped me to get my children back and raise them, obtain housing,… respect, dignity and become a respectful lady. I am a Casac with a Bachelors degree and have been actively employed since 1997, thanks to Vip and have not relapsed once. About to retire and feeling real good about the life that Vip helped me to re-build. I am forever grateful 🙏. You get out what you put in.

Some supervisors, including the main ones at the Astoria Delancy Hotel in Long Island City, are rude. They've scolded my son, said they don't care, or that they don't give a damn. As one of them said, they don't care… what the preventive services say, nor do they care what the doctors say. My son is depressed and has ADHD and other medical diagnoses, and they don't care. They want to force him to go to school and don't let the preventive services sent by ACS and the specialists do their job. Also, sometimes if I don't open the room door at the first knock, they open it. Other children, younger than my son, arrive alone from school or the street and are left to wait on the first floor for their parents. They can be alone for more than two hours without being told anything. And now they don't even want to let my son be on the first floor. They're persecuting and pressuring us. They dared to call my son's physiotherapist, who gave him an eight-day medical excuse for my son's tendinitis, to tell him that my son can't miss school and that he shouldn't send any more excuses. They're disregarding everyone's rights, invading my privacy, and worsening my mental and physical health, as well as my son's. If my son commits suicide, or if I do—God forbid—VIP Community Services is responsible. If I ever spoke to you about my son's problems, it was so you could help me, not so you could harass us. You're worse than the previous administration here. Other neighbors are also complaining about you, and I understand that some employees have even resigned because of their own coworkers.

For one just look at all the fake reviews on here, let me tell you how this "Treatment" center operates. I was a patient at 716 for a year. I complied 100% with the program rules and expectations but it is a total… Medicaid fraud scheme. Until I called oasis there wasn't even a licenced clinician on the unit. They will bill your Medicaid to exhaustion for services you don't need or receive half the time. You are elegable for housing assistance after 90 days of clean toxicology however they did not submit my voucher until the 11th month of my stay. I am disabled, I suffer from seizures and have mobility issues. They discharged me to belvue men's shelter. I have more dirt on this place then I can express here. One of the staff members lost his certification and got hired there. The clinical supervisor Raheem is under DOJ investigation. This is a fact I was interviewed by the DOJ representative. There is black mold in the showers.

I love this facility. The nurses, doctors and counselors treat me with respect and are extremely helpful with any problems I’m experiencing.I’ve been to other methadone center’s where the medical staff, counselors and… higher ups would scare you by threatening to call social services if you didn’t agree to go to detox. I experienced this personally! I would never leave VIP!
