Transitions Counseling and Consulting – Glendale

I wanted to go on a path towards bettering myself, and this place helped me to do that. They offer one on one counseling, group counseling sessions, telehealth psychiatry, and is run by people who actually care. 4 years… later, I'm proud of who I am now, and I have Transitions to thank for that. Shout-out to Mrs. McCall, she was my psychiatrist, and is very good at what she does. Thank you all.

So far, so good a lot better than my last experience with them where all I never got past the introduction into it this time I’m actually talking to people

I scheduled an intake after being told my insurance was in-network and that completing the intake would allow me to begin covered in-person therapy. After I completed the intake and was scheduled with a therapist, I was… informed by billing that my insurance was actually out of network and future sessions would cost approximately $120 each. This resulted in a $130 intake charge for services I would not have agreed to had I been given accurate information. The communication between scheduling and billing is inconsistent and very frustrating. I’m not going to be paying for services here at all.

I was referred to Transitions Counseling by Gaby P., and I’ve had a great experience so far. Martin C. made the intake process easy, Leslie L. has been wonderful in my individual sessions, and Katie has been great in… IOP. Everyone has been kind, supportive, and welcoming. I also really appreciate that they accept my insurance. I’m so glad I found them!

Always a pleasure working with my psychiatrist through Telehealth. We are able to go over recommendations and ideas openly, and the sessions are concise generally lasting about 15-20 minutes of no major discussions are… needed. Highly recommend their team!
