Great staff and friendly however if you are looking for JUST mental health therapy, this is NOT the place. Especially if you have a job to work to because sessions are LONG!! 1st visit was a 3 hour long evaluation. 1 hr… with behavioral therapist. 1 hr with primary medical care even though I already have a primary care and need to give a urine sample for my mental health (make that make sense especially when I made it clear to them i dont want drugs and will not provide my pharmacy location) and one hour with Physical Therapist. 2 of the 3 did not relate to my mental health needs. Go back to appt #2 thinking ok were done with evaluation, let's get talking, I estimated one hr long appt. Nope! I was caught off guard and never informed that this is now 4 hrs and was told all "_#_" sessions will be 4 hours long! I couldn't wrap my mind around why when I felt I could have told my issue or life story and recieve feed back in one hour. Nope. One hr with Behavioral therapist with more questions that was asked and still didn't really discuss my issues I needed help with nor got much feed back. Another hour with primary medical care with more questions. Then 1 hr of group therapy discussing addiction and had nothing to do with me. At that point I was even more frustrated and the next hour was going to be Physical Therapy and try some yoga. WHAT?! I hadn't even expressed all my issues or emotion and was informed I would need to complete all almost a dozen sessions 4 hrs each!!! I refused to do the yoga because i felt it was pointless. They saw how frustrated I was so they forced an "early" exit on the "Inpatient" program only to refer me to an online Telemed type Therapy! No thanks! I want to see someone in person. Again, great friendly caring staff, it's not for everyone. Also I was referred by my PCP and didn't have the mentality nor energy to look into this place or I would have never made the 1st appt.
Physical and Behavioral Therapists with a heart. These Professionals know their craft and are gently persuasive, all while promoting a positive, caring atmosphere. The probability of becoming smitten with this staff is… very high. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I have learned so much from this program, and I can’t tell you enough how helpful it has been. I had some doubts beginning, but the skills and knowledge that I have gained here, in addition to the physical therapy… portions, have been so life changing and helpful. If you are considering this program, please at least speak to them, and ask any questions you may have. No one here is not going to want to help you, and nothing about this program is as scary as you think it is. Please at least ask them, if you have any thoughts about doing this. If you have any questions, ask.
Recovia was one of the best choices I made for my health. I was looking for talk therapy and got a whole lot more. The staff are awesome! I got the sense they all love what they do, are great at it and I felt truly… cared for. I especially liked doing the PT and the talk therapy. They're just the best! Kaila, Kait, the David's, Mary... y'all transformed my life. Thank you!!
Northwest location is the best!!! Melissa, Kate, Katie, Mary,David, Nina and Lupita are amazing!!!They are so kind and compassionate . I will never forget what I learned!
The PT crew is the absolute best! Professional, knowledgeable , and very caring for their patients. I recommend them highly!
If I could give 10 stars I would! I love Recovia, the people that work there are brilliant! It is good vibes, all of it! They have state of the art equipment. I appreciate the integrated approach. The physical therapy,… counseling, medical, and groups were all helpful and informative. The staff is very accomodating. I would highly recommend Recovia!
Great experience at r e c o v i a North West Tucson! Excellent physical therapy department, meditation, yoga and deep breathing. One-on-one counseling sessions and behavioral therapy groups. Excellent staff very… professional and caring. This program helped me with pain management and depression and taught me positive ways to help change my life
This has been quite an experience. The integrated approach, addressing both physical and emotional well-being simultaneously, is unique and has helped me cope with chronic pain, depression and anxiety. The staff is… excellent - creative, professional and helpful. The one-on-one therapies with both physical therapists and counselors are tailored to my needs. Group sessions focus on practical techniques like meditation, deep breathing exercises, gentle yoga and stretching moves. These are valuable tools for maintaining stability during challenging moments The impact of this experience has been profound, improving both my daily life and perspective.
After the clerk suggested that I contact billing about copays, My wife contacted billing on 3 different occasions to inquire about my balance. She was told each time, that it was zero. I received a bill for over $600.00… upon discharge.
Best place for pain management therapy of the holistic sort in town!! They integrated physical therapy with individualized talk therapy with group therapy. I learned to see my pain differently with this program, which… was a HUGE relief. Thank you, for everything, Recovia!!!
I owe a lot to this program - I have struggled with mental health, physical pain, and subs abuse for most of my life. I have made a ton of progress in the past decade or so, but still had/have some things to work on and… was referred to Recovia. The program itself is excellent and it works - but what makes the biggest difference is the people. I honestly feel like the providers here truly care about my success and actually believe in me/my ability to get where I need to be. There has not been a one-size-fits all approach. I feel heard in my needs, my concerns, and I feel that my treatment is specifically tailored to what I am looking to personally accomplish.
I learned so much and my mood changed for the better so fast. The staff is really accommodating and warm. I felt my well-being was important. You guys really treated my whole person, body, mind, and soul!
