NorthKey Community Care – Florence

If I could leave zero stars I would . This place has done nothing to help a family member who is suicidal. The response from this so called therapist was to say you need a new therapist and hung up. My family member we… was sobbing and asking for help. The fact that this place is allowed to remain open is a shame . Shame on you state of KY for sending people that have financial hardships to this place . This facility is a joke.

Scheduled an appointment in June, I called to confirm (now august) and they told me it was never even scheduled. Every time I’ve gone through northkey it’s an issue, weather it be billing my insurance, appointments not… being scheduled, and a disorganized office which clearly doesn’t have their stuff together. I get so frustrated any time I need therapy, I feel like I need more therapy trying to get therapy through them. 0/10 don’t recommend

This is an awful place. If you’re having emotional problems, strong anger, and violent outburst don’t go here because this place will just lock you up. Their therapist and psychologist are very weak and can’t handle… anger or angry people. A lot of their appointments you go to the place and then they give you a laptop and you go into a room and you have a zoom call with the therapist. The only reason I’m going there is to see the therapist in person I think it has more of a effect on you. This place is awful.

I was supposed to have an appointment there last week, they called and told me it was a zoom meeting, I called back and confirmed it was a zoom meeting, they sent me the link and everything.. I log on and the "dr" never… shows up. I call and they tell me I was supposed to come into the office and now they have to reschedule me and can't get me in for 2 more months. There was zero remorse. This is why people end up in a mental health crisis. You finally get the courage to seek out help, and then they jerk you around.

my mom recently passed away and i really needed to talk to someone and my therapist canceled on me and said that shes switching positions and switching positions on me. now i have to get a new therapists, ive had to get… switched to a new therapist over 5 times now ove thenpast 10 years and its mentally draining. i highly dont recommend going to northkey. ive finally broke all my walls down to the therapist i just had and she just left me. thanks northkey 😂 youve been such a great help. ive been going here for the past 10 years and im 17, the only reason why i even keep going back to northkey is because THEY DONT HELP. they need to start actually caring about the people who go, but i guess they never will.

RITA is TERRIBLE. wish I could give 0 stars. Patient needs and care are the least of staffs concern. Prescriber Rita is extremely unprofessional. Was scheduled with her twice both times arrived ON TIME to my appointment… and she RITA chose to wait 15 minutes with me in the waiting room both times just to cancel. Very unprofessional, for someone who actually needs care and has to go out of their way to get to their appointments it’s very stressful to be canceled on because of the lack of someone else’s professionalism. If this is your job/ career you know people count on those appointments so it sad that people like this are in this profession. The experience I’ve had with them has honestly made me want to stay away from other places like this how can you care about mental health and wellbeing of others and constantly put that last. Very disappointed with my experience here.

Unprofessional and under qualified staff working. Better off calling a place more legit than someone who claims to be sober in AA and facing criminal charges.

My therapist Jetona and the nurse practitioner Lorie are amazing. I was going through a really hard time for awhile and would get back to me almost immediately when I reached out. And also one of the women from the… front desk did too when I was having problems with the pharmacy and there was a miscommunication. I appreciate all of you. Your diligence has made a difference for me.

I just called to see about getting an appointment with a Behavioral Nurse that show on google as working there. The receptionist was like I don't know of anyone by that name working here. I said ok she said let me check… ...then just within seconds says we used to have someone here by that name but they are not here anymore. Duh! Not a good experience for a first time call. Guess we will try somewhere else. Not can I help you with maybe getting an appointment with another person do you have a question. Horrible customer service.

These people I begin to wonder if ever have helped anyone.There call center is really rude ,they lie,give you the runaround,get appointments cancelled you waited weeks for cause they don't care.Cant see anyone in person… if you need someone to talk to.They offer some great services ,but for who?I wish I was one of them.

Again I just drove by but it's state run so I'm sure its....it's..... excellent.

I will preface that I’ve not received care at this facility. I’ve been in care for 2 years and yet to get treatment. I’ve heard great things about the therapist, so this rating doesn’t go to the care northkey provides.… The scheduler are the issue. Who ever the scheduler are through have no knowledge on psychological care. They won’t return phone calls, they randomly assign therapist, then you go and find out they aren’t trained in severe disorders. The therapists were honest and told me they aren’t trained to work with my disorder and don’t know why I was scheduled with them. The psychiatrist nurse is amazing but northkey kicks you out after they realize that you don’t have a therapist(which again isn’t that I’m not going, but been in limbo because the schedulers aren’t trained to properly put you with a therapist that fits your needs.) since I have Medicare this is my only option to receive treatment, but again it’s been 2 years and still no treatment. So now I’m lost on what to do, and left worse off than I was 2 years ago.

I've been a PT at North Key for years, I see a counselor and a nurse practitioner. When my Ins. coverage changed I needed to apply for financial assistance. I asked at the front desk at my appt, she gave me a Nkey… business card. (?) I called the billing office and between several periods of being on hold, she told me to bring my documents to my next appt and give them to the provider. I did, and she had no clue what to do with them. She gave me the name of a person in the Financial office to call and I left 2 msgs for her to please contact me, but she never did. I haven't seen my counselor since March, and it's almost July. They Don't care at all about their patients. And people wonder why, despite ALL of the Federal funding these places receive, there continues to be a Mental Health Crisis in our country. I guess as long as North Key employees are getting paid, the care of their patients isn't something they're interested in. If at all possible, Please look elsewhere for Mental Health Services. And to add insult to injury, the receptionist Always refers to me as "Hon". Incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful.

Jullia Stevenson is absolutely amazing

This is the worst place to take your child to!! They are constantly changing counselors can’t keep employers and make u wait months to get a new therapist . If you’re even a few mins late they won’t see you. I pulled… all of my kids out of here. It’s ridiculous. Not to mention the rude ladies behind the desk checking you in. Lord have mercy don’t take your child here!

I just wish they would answer the phone. I have to drive in anytime I wish to communicate. Also the turnover is far too high to do anyone any good. We have had nice girls and they need to better their work environments… for their own mental health- I get it. This place needs to treat their employees better so they stay.

First appointment was nice, but after that when I came in they were always changing the time, i would comfirm it with the therapist twice before I left the office to make sure it's in my calender correctly. This time… they didn't even bother putting my appointment in the system, said the therapist wasn't at the offices anymore and didn't even schedule me with anyone else or attempt to correct anything. I regret giving therapy another try. Always useless effort, especially here.

This place has very little communication.. they switch therapist almost ever appointment. Please seek better help.. they have pushed someone I care about almost over the ledge..

Not pleased at ALL...Took me twice to actually get a visit and then my daughter's first appointment the therapist was COMPLETELY unprofessional. Debating on if we'll continue with them or not...

Impossible to get ahold of anybody. My son needs serious help and they've been terrible about helping.

Great place to get help. Highly recommend
