My son likes going here he is autistic and he thrives on his schedule and I hate how I can't have his appointments on the same day every time because with an autistic child they need schedule and structure I used to get… it on every Wednesday and now that they took away their online scheduling where I could schedule his appointment ahead of time so I can make sure I got the spot that's the same day and same time but since they took that away I'm having to deal with meltdowns by him because it's on a different day and is throwing his schedule off

All the therapists that my children and I see are amazing. Ive been coming here for almost 2 years. Love these girls !!!

A morally bankrupt business you should not be entrusting your mental health to. By far the absolute worst office and scheduling I've dealt with across many years of therapy, and there isn't a close second. I didn't… trust the two-star rating this place has, figured the silent positive outweighed the verbal negative. Turns out I was wrong, avoid Bowen and find better.

I went for help yesterday just to be mistreated!!! I was very clear about being manic I even went into what I thought triggered me and was instantly mistreated when I had to make an appointment that may or may not… happen with the psychiatrist and he turned on me so fast. What happened was not right and I do fully expected someone to contact me regarding the mistreatment and scheduling problems. They know exactly who I am. I can't wait to tell absolutely everyone that I know about this treatment because I don't want my loved ones treated like that. Oh WAIT it gets even better!!!! They have been texting me off and on all day said something about insurance and when I was like really,??? With reason I was unhappy and then I got ghosted They replied to my first complaint and when I tried to call them I got ignored then put on hold until I finally decided it was causing me more harm. I really thought for a second that maybe that councilor Bret Michaels? was just having a bad day but now I'm thinking it's encouraged behavior because I still sit here !!!!?? Leave another comment go ahead hide behind the computer!!!

I have been a Bowen patient for almost 6yrs. . I ABSOLUTELY LOVE them! Every facility has that one front desk employee that just makes the visit so comforting and welcoming. The Auburn office would be Tracy at the front… desk and the Angola office Katrina at the front desk is very nice also ❤️

0 actual care for clients, just another insurance rebate

I have had to reschedule twice due to my provider not being in. I have a very important appointment and the due date is closing in. I have yet to be helped.

They really need to be more clear when you are reporting something confidentially or not and/or what role everyone who you are seeing plays within their institution. This way, there won't be confusion that can lead to… secrets being released when you're there to be helped only to make things more difficult. Also, be warned of feeling like there is general apathy when trying to work with you to be seen and to follow up on you. If you don't know how to navigate things, and part of the reason you're coming here is to try to fix that amongst whatever else--it's still good to try, and you still should--then you might need to pull forth a lot of patience and try not to wait until it's a crisis, if possible (I have been trying to be helped for years now, but I am still trying [and failing] to even start seeing someone), when trying to begin your treatment here. If you hope they'll follow up on you giving strong hints that you need help, don't count on it. Basically, if you feel like you truly need help getting the helping process started, try elsewhere first. I cannot speak to the actual efficacy of this institution when you actually begin your treatments, because the process leading there has been such a colossal disaster such far.

I have had many doctors in my time, none have been better than the 2 I have seen at Angola. The nurses are extremely helpful and go the extra mile and really helped in an emergency. The only reason I don't give it 5… stars is that it sometimes is hard to get an appointment with the psychologist on short notice but there is only one at the Angola branch. Well worth it in my opinion. I would not trust anyone else with my life than Michelle or Candice.

I have never been more disappointed in a place. They schedule your appointments months in advance just to cancel them when it is time to go. Two weeks in a row they have cancelled my appointment. Therapy only works if… you actually go. They are not committed to the health of people they are committed to themselves. I am very disappointed in this place considering it was given good review.
