Community Counseling Ctr of Ashtabula – Ashtabula

I am fairly new to this facility but the experience I have had so far has been amazing! The crisis management team member Jen has worked with me many times. They have helped me get my medications started again and a… full time counselor. It takes a little while to get everything going but they do what they can when they can. The staff have all been super friendly especially a receptionist named "Grace". She went over and beyond with her kindness and it is much appreciated! If you are struggling with anything in the Ashtabula area please give these people a try.

They make scheduling appointments and finding the person who takes your insurance very challenging.

Tried for almost year with them before giving up. Once a month doctor Yendrek would spend five minutes or so tops with me and refill all of my prescriptions wrong. Never been to such a revolving door practice that didnt… care..

Best place for recovery. I'm almost 6 months sober and it's all because of my services from C.C.C. thank you to all the staff

Can never speak to a nurse or get refills in a timely manner. No quality counselors available. Nasty attitudes when you call. They could care less about your mental health.

This place is a joke they don’t discuss anything with the parents of the underage child that is going and they should be fired for not doing there job if the child is having problems with certain things and it’s not… brought up to the parents then they should not be in that position to not inform the parents Your a disgrace to the service

Seems like a lot of the people have no idea what's going on very frustrating to deal with the Ashtabula and the Geneva office was told one thing and then the next day I'd be told something else just fed up with their… overall helpfulness specially with the psychiatrist at the Ashtabula office

Zoom is never loadable on my appointments

They are great. Never ever made me feel like I was anything but important.

Unwelcoming building and staff! All staff we interacted with were unprofessional and it made my son and I very uncomfortable. There was a time misunderstanding for his initial therapy session and they didn’t seem to… care about his well being when they gave us another appointment a month out. We found counsel elsewhere because this place just left a REALLY bad first impression and we won’t be back.

I am so fed up with this place! I had my doctors appointment on Thursday,with a promise to have my meds by Friday! Lol, yeah, right!!! It's now Tuesday, and still no meds!!! It is outrageous when you are on medications… that you can not miss and I am now on day number 5 without meds

I can see my doctor, but there is not one counselor who will take me as a client. They should add more counselors. If I could go somewhere else I would.

Horrible!!! No doctors, only licensed practitioner, don’t care about my daughters mental health, didn’t even know there was 2 practitioners on my supposed to be confidential zoom call, needed 2 people cause the one… handling my daughters case was new and not even licensed yet! Called for an appointment and didn’t even know who she was talking to, called my daughter a different patient name. Took my daughter off her meds and denying my appointment and now my daughter is having horrible issues while I’ve had to wait for another appointment at a different practice. Councling is a joke, promised my daughter they would be there for her after opening up and needing to go through a police interview , lied , didn’t even see her after that . Worst place I’ve ever seen and should be shut down!

Receptionists are extremely rude. Ive been going to CCC for almost 3 years and the receptionists have always been rude to me. My Doctor moved out of town and i wasn’t notified.

I've been with them for years and I would be heartbroken if I had to switch. Great staff. The receptionists are kind the pharmacy is quick and kind and the doctors are always willing to work with you as long as you put… work into yourself. Every counselor has been very helpful and imformative as well. I will always give them 5 stars. They helped me get my life back. Forever greatful for CCC

I see a lot of poor reviews, and while I have no doubt some of the people there aren't great, I've had good experiences through CC. I've had one counselor and a doctor who prescribed meds, and they were very helpful. If… you are mistreated or have a bad experience, I recommend maybe asking for a different doctor or talking to someone at the center.

Dr are arrogant.

I went there with anxiety & depression I struggled with for years was evaluated and was able to see a Dr. within a few weeks I also had several counseling sessions. The Dr has been GREAT in working with me in various… issues & medication, helping me along the road to progress-It’s been over a 1 -1/2yrs -I still seeing my Dr for view on meds. It’s has the best DECISION I EVER MADE. I always have been treated there well with staff. It is a very busy place-I would definitely recommend them.

One key issue that is lacking. CONTINUITY OF CARE Had a bad reaction (uncontrollable itching that spread everywhere)to a new medicine that was insisted I try . Was told to go off meds and call back in a few days. Called… back this morning and was told Dr was out of the office for pretty much the entire month. No one available to cover for absent doctor ...so I guess I'm off ALL meds for the remainder of the month and on my own. Gee thanks for the lack of help . I'll be finding a different place to go for treatment after this. You would expect a doctor to have someone to cover for them if they are going to be gone for an entire damn month. 💩💩💩

Absolutely amazing people. Both counselors I've had here have been amazing people. Any issues I had before (ex; waiting too long to get signed in at the desk) have actually been resolved recently. Maybe that's because I… come in on Tuesdays now, I'm not sure. All in all a very decent place and I will continue coming here.

Caring and helpful staff. They actually listen to the client and develop a treatment plan specific to their individual needs, including counseling, psychiatry, group therapy, anger management, etc. Clients are also… assigned case managers to help with needs outside of their mental health treatment plan. I have never experienced a more well-rounded treatment program specifically catered to each individual client. This place wants clients to not only get well but progress in life and it shows! I am grateful they exist in our community.
