Cenikor Foudation Waco – Waco Detox and Rehab Services
Cenikor Foudation Waco – Waco is recorded as offering detox, residential treatment and intensive outpatient. Withdrawal is managed under clinical observation before other treatment begins, which matters most in the first seventy-two hours for alcohol and benzodiazepines. The structured element runs during the day and people go home afterwards. Anyone unsure which level fits should ask for an assessment rather than choosing from a list, since placement criteria exist precisely to make that judgement.
Combined treatment is not recorded, which is worth checking before committing. Medication-assisted treatment combines approved medication with counseling and clinical review. Ask directly about session times and frequency, as those details decide whether someone can realistically attend.

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. We called intake and was told that a bed was available. We drove from Dallas and arrived on time, to be called by the admission nurse that she was the only one working… admissions and couldn't see anymore people. How unprofessional is that. I have been in healthcare for over 20+ years. I would not recommend anyone to this facility. Very unprofessional and uncaring attitudes. I requested a manager on duty to call me back and still haven't heard from anyone. Run far away from this facility in Waco, Texas!!!!
Wonderful, attentive staff, and very helpful residents to show you around so you don't feel lost! I know this is a state funded institution.. but the food was a 1/10 every meal. To me it felt like being in jail for the… most part! I like in the future look into getting a swimming pool, some type of dogs, baby goats or pigs for the residents to tent do?! If that were the case i definitely would've stayed longer ♥️♥️ thank you for everything you and uour kind staff did in my detoxification program!!!
Great staff great program
I desperately needed a place to safely detox from 7oh and Cenikor got me in and took care of me. The staff, nurses and other clients welcomed me in with open arms and helped me get clean all while showering me with… proper love and care. I would highly highly recommend Cenikor. If you're reading this and you need help, please please reach out they have many facilities and they WILL HELP YOU GET YOUR LIFE BACK. Thank you Cenikor, staff, and amazing clients. I don't plan on coming back but I will always be thankful for what they did for me.
Not only is 3/4 of the staff incompetent. But they have no idea how to handle people going thru withdrawals. The two best people on that staff are Jessica and Jennifer. The others? If you want to see fake and pawn you… off to a hospital where you will sit for 8 hours going thru withdrawals and then accuse you of things that are clearly not on camera. Ya go there because it's free. They treat you like gold as soon as you walk thru the door but after that you're on your own. Most incompetent staff I've ever seen. They have no idea how to deal with people going thru withdrawals but they sure will tell you they do. If you go to this crap show expect to get treated like a number. But stick to Jessica or Jennifer. They know how to handle you NICELY. I have no clue where they find these workers at but it's a circus after you they put you in a room with 4 other people. Oh and btw keep your phone on you because they will give you discharge papers an hour before without notice and don't care if you have a ride or anywhere to go. They will send you off as quick as possible with nowhere to go
Do not sign up for insurance, they will cut your treatment short, also there isnt much counseling, its more of a detox and then meetings led by a Big Brother there for recovery also
I came in with an addiction problem and prison mind but with there groups they help me out change that thank you so much h cenikor and staff
I’ve had an excellent experience here at Venmo’s. They helped me out of the hole I was in and they truly care about you and your recovery. From the counselors to the head of operations everyone does anything they can to… get you out of the hole your in. I can’t thank them enough for helping me get out of addiction. Travis is an amazing counselor, he helped me get into sober living so I can continue my journey of sobriety.
They helped me out a lot!
Cenikor saved my life. I'm so grateful for this place and would recommend it to anyone.
My son Kyle attended your last Ft worth, 2 year in patient program from 3/2019 to 3/2021. He was ready and it changed his life. That 2 year program wad just what he needed to grow in faith and emotionally. It very sad… that the program no longer exists. I will forever be grateful to all of you. God bless you!
I had a delivery to drop off that was required to be delivered in person. I was left waiting for a person for over 30 minutes. I knocked, called out, and called the phone number. I don't understand why there was no one… up front for over 30 minutes when there is a camera pointed at the front door. I could hear people behind the door, just joking and laughing. I would have thought that a facility such as this would be more professional.
Overall it was great. The only suggestion I would make is a bit more consistent leadership with the BHT staff and better reading selections since the clients use them as ways to get peace and quiet.
I must say that my stay at the facility in Waco was unexpectedly a great experience. The familiarity of family feel is unmatched by anything that I have experienced when it came to rehab or rehabilitation for a… substance abuse issues, I would recommend the center to a family member and friend without question. The staff is incredible. Thank you, Cenikor and Mr.Jerrett for the recommendation or facilitation.
I thought this place was great all the way from Detox to RSS. Especially Caitlin Travis Kourtney Karen Brian Nurse Lulu Emma and Ms Janice. Noricia Troy all the staff
Cenikor really changed my life and gave me a new lease on life. I came in broken and lost and now that I’ve worked the program and utilized the opportunities and resources i feel reinvigorated and ready to re integrate… back into society as a productive member and I know I’m ready because of my experience at Cenikor. I’m very thankful for the program and much appreciative for all it’s given me. I give Cenikor my gratitude and Thanks!
They are awesome people
I am writing to formally express my concerns regarding the Cenikor facility in Waco, where a family member is currently receiving treatment. Despite multiple attempts to contact the facility via phone, I have received… no response. I have left messages both on the designated phone line and with a person from the main number, she states that calls and messages will be returned within three days. However, I have yet to receive any follow-up and why does it take 3 days. Additionally, I find it concerning that this facility does not appear to allow family visitation or participation in counseling sessions. In my experience, rehabilitation programs in other states encourage family involvement, including group counseling and educational sessions to better equip loved ones in providing support. The lack of transparency and engagement raises serious questions about the policies in place at this location. Family counseling and education are essential components of successful rehabilitation, benefiting both the individual in treatment and their support system. I would appreciate clarification regarding Cenikor’s policies on family involvement and the rationale behind the restrictions in place. Furthermore, I request a prompt response regarding the status of my family member and an explanation for the lack of communication. I look forward to your timely response.
I Found a new way to live and the Lord is with me
In my opinion Cenikor gets a 5 star review, when my sponsor called they reacted immediately and got me into detox, from detox I went into there 28 day program, after detox I had decided I was ready to change, the… Cenikor group help me dispose of all and any evidence of drugs in my vehicle, put in in a place where my life could begin to change, I was at the starting block once again and I thank God and the Cenikor for not only a second chance but another chance at life once again.
Cenekor waco seemed to be alright until they retaliated against me for filing a grievance I don't know what to do because it's suppose to be illegal to retaliate also none of the staff reported the infraction that… witnessed
