Addiction Recovery Center – Mansfield Detox and Rehab Services
Addiction Recovery Center – Mansfield is listed as running detox, residential treatment and intensive outpatient. Detox runs under medical supervision, and the first three days carry the highest risk with alcohol and benzodiazepines. Sessions follow a set timetable while people keep living at home. Which of these is appropriate depends on an assessment, not on what sounds manageable at the time.
Only one side is on record here, so ask directly if both are needed. Medication and talking treatment run together under clinical oversight. It is worth asking how many hours a week the program runs, because that decides whether it fits around everything else.

Addiction Recovery Center – Mansfield Reviews and Ratings
Families searching for treatment in Mansfield often start with reviews. If you were a patient at Addiction Recovery Center, or supported one, sharing how it went gives them something real to go on.
I cannot say enough great things about this place. My therapist was the best I’ve ever had, the food was great and the living accommodations were clean (cleaners came every day) and felt more like a hotel.
In the 33 days I spent there I was given time to medically detox, fed delicious and nutritious food, taught the nature of my addiction in scientific terms, given one on one therapy, given the option to attend wellness… activities such as yoga and was provided time with a personal trainer to work on regaining my strength. We enjoyed the on facility pool, team building exercises with the other residents and even had movie time once a week. I also was able to take advantage of a virtual reality session that prepared me for being exposed to my DOC in a safe environment and allowed me a one on one session with an expert trained in exposure therapy. This allowed me to see how physiologically my body will respond to triggers and therefore gave me much better ability to prepare for returning to my life outside of the center. The residental staff is caring, compassionate and friendly. The therapists were knowledgeable, present and available when I needed them. The 12 step team taught a comprehensive program that broke down the literature in a way that was easy to grasp. The kitchen staff provided fantastic meals. The rooms were kept clean daily and provided me with my own private balcony-a beautiful place to begin and end my days, reflecting on the many thoughts that addicts ponder during treatment. I look forward to continuing my treatment there with the PHP program and intend to complete my IOP at this location as well. I was given such great care that I wanted to ensure continuity of treatment throughout all the steps of my treatment program. Highly recommend to anyone who's ready to change their life.
Omg Santi and Jose are the best cleaners !! They are so sweet and funny and it always smell so good in my room and the hallways they really keep this place going everything is perfect and clean !! Thank you guys for… being awesome !!!
Everybody that works here is amazing. My evaluation here was an excellent experience from the. Receptionist to the clinician's. Highly recommend
This is the place to go if you are struggling. All the staff is caring and understands your situation. As a plus, the cafeteria is also great. Complete program from detox, residency, and out patient.
I am very thankful I found this facility. The staff was nice and very helpful. The environment was quiet and peaceful. They have a chef that made good healthy food for everyone. If you are looking for a place to help… you recover, I really recommend you come here.
This place is amazing for anyone needing help with addiction! Staff is the best around and they are so caring to their patients!
If you’re serious about your recovery this is the place to take your life back ! I started treatment on January 4th 2025 which was the best decision of my life. This is my 3rd month sober and I have to say that it was… mainly because of the effectiveness of this program. I want to thank the whole staff for their professionalism and commitment. The program will guide you through the steps needed to defeat your addiction as long as you’re honest with yourself and willing to put in the work. I want to say thank you to Sarah my therapist Tyler who coordinates the 12 step program, the other 2 Sarah’s, Mr Jones, all the nurses, techs and the awesome chefs that made every meal so delicious. Also special thanks to Miss Disco for the personal training sessions. The whole staff thank you so much for everything!!!
Kind and compassionate staff!
Excellent facility with caring staff.
I loved Texas Health on all my visits! Tyler has been my rock and that’s why I continue to come back
I arrived at the center via ambulance on June 22nd 2023, sick and bewildered. The staff was clearly focused upon, and committed to my recovery from the start. The entire facility has a very positive aura. Programming… included equal parts education, therapy, and treatment. Therapists and facilitators were knowledgeable and empathetic. Sarah's guidance was especially helpful in establishing an appropriate path for my journey of recovery. Cari is another therapist who made a difference. Interludes of relaxation introduced ways to cope with the obsession to indulge in destructive behavior, through yoga, meditation, gym work, and drum circle. Working with Tyler became another cornerstone of my recovery as he imbued in me the critical importance of the 12 Steps and the Big Book. Though I was reluctant at first; I continued my treatment at the Center with PHP and IOP. My decision to do so was rewarded by the growth I acquired working with David and Kadye. My sobriety is fortified every week, working with Tyler at the Alumni Meeting every Wednesday, sharing with the current clients the solution afforded me by the Center. IF you are willing to do the WORK, this is the place to find your personal serenity and sobriety. Thanks for indulging me in such a long winded review. Buddy Gibson
Excellent staff, Tyler W. Sara, Dave, Tatum, The Jennifer's. All caring people and there for the patient.
Staff has always been very friendly and the alumni meetings are nice to reconnect with everyone and insightful. You can tell the 12 step coordinator genuinely cares for the clients and your journey. I feel that them… having this position and a designated person to help walk you through those steps is a key factor in what sets this facility apart from others and makes the difference in actually giving the tools to truly help maintain sobriety once the program is completed!
I spent a decade of my life using and trying to get sober. From multiple treatment centers, programs, medical & psychiatric professionals I was unable to maintain sobriety. I walked into THR broken. Hopeless and lost. I… immediately was welcomed and felt at home. THR taught me how to achieve longterm sobriety. They addressed my addicition from not only a clinical and medical perspective but taught me the 12 steps that I continue to use till this day. I have over 6 years sober today. When I look back at how I got here a specific moment comes to mind. A man sat in front of me at THR, he told me he was the 12 step coordinator and asked if he could share his story with me. I remember thinking for the first time in my life there was someone else who truly had been through what I went through and found a way out. He spoke of the same 12 steps I heard about so many times but in a way that actually made sense and sounded achievable. Tyler ( the 12 step coordinator) showed me a way out and I will forever be grateful for that oppurtunity. THR is a beautiful facility, with amazing professional staff that truly has a genuine desire to help their clients to the best of their abilities.
I went to The Addiction Recovery Center in early 2018 and at the time it was known as Texas Health Recovery and Wellness Center, but the care I received there helped me to create a new, sober life. Tyler, the 12 Step… Coordinator helped introduce me to the 12 Steps in a way that was completely new to me because at the time I had been opposed to AA because of the meetings I had gone to the overall negative experience I had. Tyler showed me that the program was the 12 Steps and the process in the AA book. Tyler and the therapists actually took time to sit with me and dig into what was causing me to continue to relapse and go back to rehabs over and over. I was finally able to end that by discharging and following the plan that the whole team had laid out for me. I am still sober today and I still attend the alumni meetings and events that Tyler continues to host. Tyler even helped guide me when I wanted to get my LCDC and not only am I almost done with that, but I’m sponsoring other people and showing them what Tyler and my sponsor so freely gave me! I am grateful to all the staff at the addiction recovery center! If you or a loved one need help with addiction, I really do recommend that you go here. The facility is beautiful, the food is great, the staff truly do care, and if you actually utilize the therapists and Tyler while you are there. The key is that I had to put in action too, the facility can’t cure anyone, but they can help show you a new way of living that will allow you to recreate your life, sober! Thank you to all the staff that was there: Jaimie, Nathan, Rachel, and Tyler Winter!
The Addiction Recovery Center is truly life-changing. The staff; Tyler, Sara, Dave, Katie, and the entire team, go above and beyond to create a supportive and encouraging environment. The facility is clean, comfortable,… and well-maintained, making it the perfect place to focus on recovery. They provide the tools, education, and care needed to build a strong foundation for sobriety, but it’s up to you to put in the work. If you’re ready to commit to the process, this is the place to do it. I love being able to attend the Alumni meetings every week. I Highly recommend to anyone seeking real change!
The Texas Health Addiction Recovery Center didn’t just help me—it saved my life. From the very first moment I reached out, I was met with kindness, expertise, and unwavering support. Rachel at the front desk was my… first point of contact, and her warmth, compassion, and willingness to help reassured me that I was making the right decision in entrusting my recovery to this facility. My journey began with an intake assessment led by Chase, whose genuine care, encouragement, and down-to-earth nature set the tone for what would become a life-changing experience. I spent three weeks in the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) under the guidance of my therapist, Dave, and then nearly ten weeks in the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) with my therapist, Kadye. Dave helped me see the truth about my addiction—that I had a disease, that I needed help, and that there was a path forward. Through his vast experience, knowledge, and heartfelt care, he helped me build a foundation for recovery, not just physically, but mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. His challenges pushed me to think differently, creating new habits and behaviors that rewired my brain for lasting sobriety and healing. I will be forever grateful to him. Kadye then took my recovery to the next level, guiding me through IOP with the perfect blend of support, challenge, and honesty. She reinforced what I had learned in PHP while introducing me to new perspectives that would sustain my sobriety as I prepared to step back into the world as a grateful, recovering alcoholic. Her wisdom and compassion were truly invaluable to my journey. Throughout both programs, I was blessed with the unwavering support of our nurse, Tomeika, and our 12-step recovery specialist, Tyler. Tomeika’s dedication to her patients is unmatched—her knowledge, care, and commitment ensured that I understood the physical toll of addiction and the importance of making healthier choices. Her guidance strengthened my resolve to stay sober. Tyler, our AA ambassador, introduced me to the 12-step program in a way that made it feel approachable, meaningful, and deeply personal. His insights on neuropsychology and brain science gave me an entirely new understanding of my addiction and how to overcome it. Thanks to him, I left the program with confidence in my local AA home group and a sponsor who continues to support my recovery. Additionally, I am beyond grateful for my psych nurse, Femi, who introduced me to Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT). His personalized approach to my care, tailoring medications to my specific needs, played a crucial role in my ability to successfully embark on this journey of sobriety. As I write this review, I am four months sober, filled with gratitude for every single person at Texas Health Addiction Recovery Center who played a role in my transformation. This experience has changed my life in ways I never thought possible. If you or a loved one is struggling with addiction, I cannot recommend this place highly enough. The care, expertise, and compassion here are truly world-class. Forever grateful. 🙏
