I love the staff here, my doctor, and everyone who's given me support over the years, but JFC ya'll have GOT to fix your insurance referrals department. It never goes cleanly, and I am having to constantly chase down an… insurance referral from the clinic through multiple phone calls over the course of months prior to an appointment occurring. In the most recent issue, I spoke to Nick in July, I spoke to Angie at the beginning of August, I spoke to Angie again a week ago, and I just got a call from the specialist I saw telling me that they STILL don't have the insurance referral even though my appointment was on the 21st (it's now the 24th). It shouldn't be this hard when I give 30+ days of headway on these things. Also, I don't know if this is new or if it's just the first time I've encountered it, but the call service stinks. I've spent about an hour bouncing around from various callers at the call center to voice mail boxes and I can't actually reach anyone helpful. edit: From the time of this review, I was contacted by Scott in the insurance referrals department and we had a lengthy conversation to resolve outstanding items, which was great. However, I just got a call this morning (9/3) from one of my doctors telling me that they have been attempting to get in touch with EKC for about two to three weeks now to renew a referral and they've gotten NOTHING back from EKC. I was told I had today to sort this out or my appointment that was scheduled for tomorrow would be cancelled. I understand that sometimes things are outside of the control of EKC. You can't control if the insurance company misreads a code, you can't control if someone doesn't get back to you. But enough is enough. Referrals pending since the spring that only got resolved after I pushed, referrals I asked for with a month head way only got resolved after I pushed and got warning notices that I was going to be billed out of pocket AFTER I was told authorizations were sent and the appointments occurred, no communications between clinics doing their diligence and outreach to make sure the medical and insurance referrals are covered.

For a place that prides themselves on supporting people in recovery, they really need to have a complete overview of all staff that work in their pharmacy! The pharmacy staff treat people absolutely like trash and it’s… very blatant in their voice the judgment they pass on people that use their pharmacy. Pharmacy staff is very unprofessional and hard to talk to or ask questions in general. Do not recommend

doctors and staff are great but the parking situation is ridiculous. people just sit in their cars and take up all the spots , i legit almost am never able to find a spot but meanwhile half the cars are just chilling… with people in them. really obnoxious when i’m coming in for an emergency appointment and i need to park down the street because of how bad parking is.

Every time I come here the staff is always impatient and rude. I went in on Monday morning for an exam and turns out my health insurance card was inactive. Given that they’ve asked to fill out check in before showing… up, they did not notify me at all. So yes therefore it is your FAULT. To the staff that switched me to a different window saying I was being mad towards her (LOL), which I was not. It’s agitating when someone rushed you asking for something. I was logging in to retrieve my info for her and she kept rushing me so I snapped at her saying can you wait, I’m getting it. And then the gaslightttttt! Like if you can’t deal with people with diff race please go elsewhere. I’m glad my insurance including my primary care has changed. I will NOT ever coming here again and having to encounter a staff like this , and I wouldn’t recommend for anyone!

Place is so unorganized, tryna get something done is like pulling teeth. They need way better oversight. I dont blame the doctors i love my doctors I do have but the way its managed and there lack of decent systems in… place makes it annoying and inconvenient at best to communicate with this place and or get something done if needed.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation to Dr. Melissa Gleckel at Kennedy Health Center on Tacoma Street, Worcester, for her outstanding care and professionalism. Dr. Gleckel took my concern… seriously and worked efficiently to resolve an issue related to my very essential medication. Her attention, knowledge, and genuine care made a stressful situation much easier, and I am truly thankful for her support. I would also like to give special recognition to Medical Assistant Ms. Shila (unfortunately I do not know her last name ), who was absolutely amazing. She was very active, responsive, and supportive in connecting me with the doctor and ensuring everything moved smoothly. Her follow-up and dedication played a crucial role in making sure I received my prescription without unnecessary delay. Thank you both for your compassion, teamwork, and commitment to patient care. You truly make a difference.

This health center needs a diverse medical staff. Emergency doctors are few in number and emergency quarantine is very difficult.

Idalia Rodriguez did an amazing job helping me with my children’s health insurance. She is very professional and efficient. After asking me what was going on, she put on hold and’ in less than 10 minutes, she fixed my… children’s health insurance. Thank you so much, Idalia. You are amazing! 😊😊

I forgot why I do not go to this place and made an appointment for my daughter. We were 10 minutes late and we were coming from Gardner and they refused to see us. I remember the last time we were there they refused to… see us saying we did not have an appointment. I said I was not going back there anymore but time makes me forget. They changed the location and we went to the wrong location, that’s why we were late but they didn’t care that we were coming from far or that we did not know the place. These people suck. Please do not go there again.
