My clinician is great but the nursing staff is horrible (besides a select few) I’ve worked so hard to get where I am( 4 years) they always make me feel like an inconvenience because I have the max amount of take homes.… Like do you have somewhere to be? I thought you were AT WORK.
I've posted a few comments what's important is that the program works they now let u smoke bud also something alot of us worried about for take-homes but things WILL NOT always go your way I guess my advice to myself… and others is simply keep going even if it gets rough and feels hard keep going even if you know your clean and a test says otherwise false positives or whatever they might be, just know that in the long run it is saving your life!!
This place is terrible. They do not care about your recovery. They do not treat you like a human being. The nurses are beyond disrespect and their attitudes are disgusting. They talk to and remind you constantly that… they believe they are better than you when really, they're glorified water boys with a name tag. The clinicians do the bare minimum and although there might be a couple good eggs-this is not a place to go if you're serious about your recovery. They are unprofessional, irrational and make it quite clear theyre only there for a paycheck. There are other methadone clinics in the area and other options and if you're not already stuck at this one/or have the ability to get to a different location I would highly recommend it. Unfortunately there is alot of people who don't have the luxury of being able to transfer to different locations and if that's the case for you and this is your only option-i highly recommend being as closed off as possible. Do no open up. Do not give up any information that you don't have to, DO YOUR RESEARCH. Get a hand book and a policy packet and know your rights. Don't be taken advantage of at your lowest like so many others. You are human and you do matter.
They treat me and my fiance so differently when we went through the same stuggle together and it's really not fair I am starting to see lies and have only been there a few months.
Nursing staff is great..work the program and itll work for you
