The best place for local medical needs!
Some of the most incompetent doctors I’ve ever been in the presence of. Have been multiple times and they have not failed to burst my vein more then once every single time im in there while getting an IV. The most… recent time the doctor put my IV in and I started gushing blood all over my arm and the bed, he said “he forgot to attach the Catheter”. my fiancé who is 12 days post partum went in last night with flu like symptoms and bad body aches and a 101 temp, every single thing on her chart came back abnormal and they gave her Benadryl and sent her home. Update: rushed to Sioux Falls because she still needs parts of her placenta removed.! How do you miss that?!
Rude worker at the urgent care desk. Wouldn't allow me back to ti the area I wasn't forced out of to be close to my mom.
While traveling through Luverne, my wife and son were in an accident and taken to the ER. Dr. Canfield was absolutely wonderful—kind, compassionate, and thorough. She took amazing care of them and helped calm a very… stressful situation. We’re so grateful for her professionalism and genuine concern. Luverne is lucky to have her!
Friendly staff, nurses & doctors
The kid had a rash or fungus on his face not even 30 minutes we were off to Louis drugs to pick up his medication luverne medical staff on it for sure
Quality care by small town caring staff. If you don't have a primary get one. In response to the self-claimed guide, listening to the USD Sanford doctors in Sioux Falls needs to be done with discretion. USD Sanford in… Sioux Falls sufferers from undue arrogance causing misdiagnosis. As an example I have to have heartburn even though I can tell I don't. My sinus problems are due to overuse of antihistamines even though they weren't around in the 50s.
Professional staff and pleasant atmosphere
Can’t even answer the phone
Nice place.
If I could leave 0 stars I would Went to the ER with wife due to a fall. They saw her right away which is great but when they took her for X-ray it took over an hour and a half for them to even acknowledge that we still… existed. Then said that if the pain stay to contact a dr in Sioux Falls. Why go to a doctor for them to basically tell you that they are useless.
ER visit with my husband had great care. Nurses were super nice and talkative and informative. The Physician answered my questions when I asked appropriately and put my mind to ease. Was very please with the services… since we are kind of new to the area.
I'd leave no stars if I could. I broke my toe this morning went in to sit in their waiting room for over an hour because they're busy and I'm of "Low priority". Then in a room for about another hour. In that time I had… my vitals taken twice and wasn't offered anything for pain after making it clear I needed something. Worst hospital. And terrible staff. By the time I decided to leave and just go to sioux falls I figure their obvious lack of pride I there jobs is more painful than my own pain.
I don't hate this place. Excellent medical services.
Went in for severe abdominal pain, the nurse spent 20 minutes trying to put an IV in and had to call in another nurse. When drawing blood, no one documented time, so when the lab sent someone to pick up the vials, they… just guessed a time to put on there. The nurses never wore gloves and one's fingernails were visibly dirty.
My daughter had her baby there. I've birthed five and have never seen or heard of a delivery this botched. The replacement doctor was completely incompetent. I'm convinced he failed to read her chart and even broke her… water with his dirty, jagged fingernails. He let her push twice, then insisted on an emergency C-section. The noises she made while waiting for anesthesia still curdle my blood. They tortured her. The surgeon needed the nurse to push the baby BACK INSIDE of her TWICE because she was so far into the birth canal that he couldn't get hold of her head. Explain to me why a C-section was necessary. Her ob doctor was on vacation. The moment that clown came through the door with his wrinkled Dockers, unkempt fingernails, and all-around dopey expression, my instinct was to put her in the car and drive to Sioux falls. You're taught to trust your doctor and not be rude, so I ignored my instinct. Never again.
There are a couple doctors here that are very good. The problem is that you can't ever get in to see your own doctor. I want to be able to see the same doctor more than once. What happened to having a doctor that knows… your name without reading the chart? How can you build trust this way? Small town clinic has no benefits anymore.
