About Boyd Andrew Community Services – Helena

Intensive outpatient and outpatient care are delivered here, alongside telehealth appointments and care for co-occurring mental health conditions. Which level fits depends on the assessment rather than on what is available, so the useful first question is what that assessment involves.

Treatment Services at Boyd Andrew Community Services

Intensive outpatient and outpatient care run to a set weekly schedule, with evenings and weekends spent at home. That suits people holding down work or caring responsibilities, though it asks more of someone managing early recovery alone. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Trauma-specific services run alongside, which matters where the two are tangled together. Co-occurring mental health conditions are treated in the same building rather than split across providers. Assessment decides the level of care, so ask what that involves and how quickly it can happen.

If I could put zero ⭐'s I would . At first the front desk lady's was super helpful professional helped answer questions we had . And we got the councilor. We talked for initial meeting and everything was fine . Few days… had passed after the evaluation and we called to see if we could get the form signed for the judge that had been inrolled and had done the evaluation as that was what was required. She made the statement it is mandatory one year treatment for second DUI . I don't know what is mandatory or not said ok . She stated she's not done with her side of paper work that it be done whenever she decides to get it done . Said ok can we just get this part so we can bring it back to the judge . She was very rude towards my wife , when I had said my wife has permission to speak for me because I'm not good at my words . So we had asked to speak with whoever might be in charge to switch councilor. Waited on hold for about fifteen minutes and gal got on phone said she's the one in charge and instantly went to say it's by law in state of Montana to complete one year treatment. We wasn't even talking about the treatment part so I explained my situation and why we need the part signed only saying that I was enrolled and did the evaluation no results needed at this time . She tells us that it will be done the fallowing week on Monday we'll entire week passed so brought the piece of paper to be signed in asked in person can we get this signed . The person in charge that we had spoke to week before instantly starts saying they will not sign it tell year treatment is done and was very aggressive in tone . I explained and tried to show her this one little section recieved from judge that needed to be signed she wouldn't even look at it and said thank you rude like and for no reason at all treated us very bad . So I seen a lady walking down the hall and asked her ma'am can you tell me who it is I need to speak to to turn how we are being treated . She stated that was her took me down stairs and spoke with me . I just hope someone has a talk to staff on how they treat the clients that walk in the door . It was very unprofessional and I'm pretty sure the results they gave are all based on retaliation. So we are switching to new chemical evaluation place and I don't recommend this place at all . They have poor reviews and I should have read them before going there but I now understand why .
