Cornerstone Family Therapy – Boise

This place was terrible and extremely rude specifically Alayna my son had PCIT here and the program was never explained (parents participate) she seemed to have an issue with me from day one but I ignored it because I… wanted help for my son. Even after we butted heads (because I wasn’t aware of what I needed to do for the program) and she explained it enough to where I could work on performing better and even after I had 2 really good sessions finally she called me in for an appointment where she continually tried to talk me out of the program. I told her I wanted this very badly and I did not want to quit and pointed out that I had given my all effort the prior two visits and how unfair this was. She agreed to continue I even asked her if she was going to be able to continue and not mistreat me given her clear issue and constant attitude no matter how hard I worked and she said yes. I then received A TEXT MESSAGE from her superior Rebecca telling me that services were discontinued because Alayna felt it was “too much for me” WHAT?!? I was floored this company is so unprofessional and wasted months of mine and my sons time. For anyone who knows how important consistency is to traumatized children you understand! The treatment and inability to leave personal stuff out of treatment that Alayna has and the inability to see passed a poor employee who by the way was brand new and not even have a conversation with the patient should not be supervising. Be cautious getting treatment here and especially if you have children. Update: my son and I SUCCESSFULLY completed PCIT with a wonderful experience at Monarch Behavioral... so it clearly was never too much. It was the facility.

Sets up appointments without consulting you and then charges you the fee for missing said appointment. Seems like a scam to me. I saw them twice in the beginning of February and got charged in March for missing… appointments I wasn’t aware were made. Haven’t received an explanation as to why either as they aren’t responding to messages

This place has been the best! I adore all of the clinicians that work here and you can tell that they all have the best work ethic! The owner Rebecca is so thoughtful and really focuses on giving the clients the most… amazing experience coming here. The atmosphere is so comforting and I would really recommend anyone looking to get counseling services to come here! I would give them 100 stars if I could!

If I could have stayed with Rebekah longer, I would highly recommend her! She was a problem solver and highly helpful for me and my husband! I know it was only 1 visit, hopefully we can work something out with our… insurance because we would love to come back for more sessions!

Lovely atmosphere with even better counselors. The receptionist is always cheery and welcoming. Overall wonderful business and would recommend to everyone.

Cornerstone Family Therapy provides a calm and comforting space in which clients can gain support and feedback from clinicians. Rebecca (owner) is progressive, kind, and truly cares for her employees and clients. I… would recommend Cornerstone Family Therapy to anyone in the Boise Metro area.
