I’ve gone to BHG since 2022 trying to get off fentanyl and because of them I am a year and four months sober. The staff is amazing and super kind. My counselor is so supportive and I meet with him every Friday for an… hour and I’ve done that for years and if it wasn’t for him I wouldn’t be here. Thank you BHG! You’ve saved my life.

Highly recommended if looking for a program for maintence. I was a client here from 2016-2019 my gf is still a client. Staff was always kind and this place has only gotten better over the years from what I see and hear.… Keep it up. Thank you for not giving up on those of us who struggle with addiction. I have 6 yrs my gf has 10 yrs. maintenance was a part of my early recovery and her recovery still and it works if done correctly. This program doesn’t let you get away with nonsense and some might get upset by this but I can see the rules are made so you can succeed not get a free or cheap high. Clinic does both methadone and suboxone. Can also micro dose to get you from methadone to suboxone gives take homes after certain amount of time clean. Yearly physicals done. One in one counsling as well as groups offered.

I absolutely love this place! All the staff are amazing people, who make you feel welcome and safe. The doctors are great! They truly want to help people recover and not only get sober but stay sober. I'm so thankful… for them, I credit the clinic with saving my life. I would recommend anyone struggling to get sober or stay sober to go check them out. I promise you won't regret it. If you work the program, the program will work for you!!!! Love and light to all!

The staff is so friendly and helpful and not judgemental AT ALL! If I had known they would be like that, and that I would be in and out in less than 10-15 minutes every morning (excluding new patient first day), I would… have went there a long time and

I've had a amazing experience with this facility soon as you walk in bright and cheerful smiling face of CLAUDINE ROBINSON !! She's a sweet helpful caring lady always gave me support and helped with my recovery in a big… way. Been a client for 5 1/2 years.during that time there has been a huge changes.for a while mostly over the beginning of COVID the staff was awful and uninformed.they came and went and it was hard to build a trusting… relationship with counselors or get consistency even with rules.i seemed to no some rules better then they did and new procedures better then they did. I will say since 2021its been much better.counslors are amazing and consistent, nurses amazing ,front desk amazing. Usually not backed up.very accomodating and they seem to really want to see us do well and don't see us as lost causes and a pay check as so many places do.Only bad things is the distance you have to travel to get to the clinic it's the only one for a while.other then that I thank them for helping keep me on track and sober A++and Dawn is absolutely the best counselor ever !

I’ve been a patient here for over two years and I don’t think I have a single negative thing to say about it. They sincerely care about your recovery here and they have nothing but professional, nice and kind people… working here. I definitely recommend this treatment center to any suffering addict out there who is ready to start their road to recovery.

Very friendly staff! I think the staff here are just wonderful. I used to go to a treatment center in Asheville that cost me $75 per week, plus I had to pay over $150 per week to the pharmacy because the clinic didn't… hire anyone who could cooperate with Medicaid so I wasn't covered. That costs almost $1,000 per month which is more than I make, so I came here instead (I live closer anyway). I have found that, unlike half of the staff at the Asheville clinic (who could be extremely condescending, pretentious, mean, impatient, and who basically looked at and treated everyone like stupid worthless junkies), BHG staff are ALL invariably kind, friendly, caring, respectful, and overall just wonderful people. I do wish it was easier to get up to the dose I feel that I need to stay sane, and I do feel that the doctor is too conservative in that regard (hence four stars). At least he isn't unkind and condescending like the last one I had at Asheville Comprehensive, though. Someone else posted a bad review because they're mad that you have to go daily and often have to deal with unexpected/random drug tests and/or counselor meetings or other things that can come as a surprise, which I do understand (I mean, I hate having to go somewhere every single morning just for a medication) - but that's literally every single methadone clinic ever. So it's not like BHG is somehow unique in that regard. I don't find that they're any more inconvenient than any other clinic. The people who attend the clinic like myself are usually very friendly and nice people too, good mountain folks who just need help with a problem just like anyone else, and I wish people would assume that about them and us instead of judging them/us as junkies or as bad people. In fact, I saw a fellow patient returning someone's wallet they left in the waiting room, and despite the cameras, that still would be very unlikely to have happened in most places in this country, especially a place like this. Overall, I'd say it's the best place in the area to come to if you need help with an opiate chemical dependency and/or addiction issue. I still can't get over how kind and friendly and respectful all of the staff are!
