I'm from memphis TN and go to a CTC clinic here. But I'm moving to KY and need a good clinic. Have 2 week take homes and would like to not start over. I've been to 5 clinics just from moving and know how important it is… to find a good one. Is there a direct number to talk to anyone in the office and not a representative line?
If you want to get Sober... This program will work with You!!! Choose You!!!
--I would absolutely gice a 5 star rating if Saturdays would be open even 1 hour longer it would make it much easier for those of us who ride the bus to make it before closing. Also i cannot find an active number to… reach the clinic i cannot find any contact information thats working. Absolutely wonderful place saved my life n keeps me clean i only wish it was open a little later on Saturdays because if you ride the bus Saturdays can be a challenging
Terrible place. Finally just had to leave and go somewhere else. They hired a nurse there named Hilary that works at the dosing windows and talk about one of the rudest people I have ever met. She is not there for the… right reasons and makes it harder on you because she does NOT know how to be compassionate. I relapsed because of her and the way she treated me one morning. This place also allows people to do drug deals in the waiting room and allows the homeless to just be high out of their mind nodding out of the chairs all morning.. its just a disgusting environment and they are there strictly for profit I mean they got in trouble with the government in the past that's why they have so many name changes. Says kentucky recovery online but when you get there its called get well just very strange to me.. also if you want take homes forget about it because they will keep lying to you and pushing you off to the side. They do not want to do their job. I pray God shuts this place down it does more harm than good.
I absolutely love staff and everyone they go above and beyond to help you
Compassionate and professional staff provide personalized care that truly supports recovery. A safe, structured environment that empowers lasting change and healing.
Coming from a background of a life mired by addiction and trauma I have had more experience with counselors than I care to admit on here haha but very few have went the extra mile that Mandy, one of GWRL’s therapists… has. I truly have nothing but good things to say about all the staff all around, but for her you can see that this is more than a job. She’s one of the lucky few that has turned a passion- in her case a passion and commitment of being of service to others-into a vocation and it’s my opinion that GWRL is beyond blessed to have someone who can bring that kind of energy and skill set to the table.
I've been to several other clinics in Louisville it's by far the best and I promise you it's not money hungry.
I am proud of you for seeking recovery, assuming that is why you're here 😊 Unfortunately, the nurses are disrespectful and unprofessional, which is an understatement. They NEVER answer the office phone, but they are… always on their phones and will finish a personal text or call on their personal phones BEFORE administering your medication. If the nurses aren't talking trash aloud about each other behind the other nurses/counselors backs, they are talking trash about other patients while you stand waiting to receive your medication. If you can ignore all of that and remind yourself it's only temporary, until you get off of it and out of there, you'll be fine 🙄 The counselors are the ones that really stand out, though! There are a couple of Godsend counselors there that I enjoyed speaking with and seeing throughout my recovery. It is obvious that those counselors love their job, and I appreciate them for all of their encouragement and compassion a long the way. I received treatment there for over a year and am blessed to have tapered off completely within that time. With that being said, I am extremely thankful for Methadone. God knows where we were before the Methadone 😬 God bless all of you who are seeking recovery. I am rooting for you 💜
This place has saved my life if it wasn't for them I would be homeless or dead thank you guys so much you truly do help people! The ones that want help
I’m so thankful ,I found this place,only a lot sooner .
This clinic has been so helpful in my recovery. Everyone there is very sweet and they are all very helpful.
Counselors lie, they don't follow drug testing regulations and got too big for their britches too fast. Literally pieces of dope on the waiting room floor and you will be approached to buy takehomes and other narcotics.… If you don't care bout any of that and just want methadone, I guess its fine and that's a big guess.
Me and my wife both go to the clinic and I'm here to tell you that they are amazing people and they treat you like a human being instead of a dope head love this place
I’m sure this place helps some people, but for me it wasn’t a good fit. I was able to get methadone, but was still able to do h & other substances. My drug screens showed everything but I was never confronted or held… accountable. I know that I should not have been using and i am in control of what I do, but I wish I would have been held accountable by this clinic but instead, I was enabled and continued to use while being on 130mg of methadone. In my opinion, this place should be looked into and have stricter guidelines for patients. I am very thankful that I found a new place that helped me get off of everything and I’m feeling much better. In my opinion, this place is money hungry & dangerous.
Hands Down One of the best clinics around! Caring Counselor's and Nurse's! And rarely is there a line! If your thinking about changing your life for the Better give Kentucky Recovery a Chance. You won't regret it!
I guest dose at this location. They was amazing the two ladies that did my roi(release of information), bc it was an emergency guest dose situation , was amazing. They was on it and when they seen me sitting waiting… they even called back making sure we wasn’t waiting on anything from them. Which we wasn’t but it was so nice that they cared. It cost $25 to guest dose here if you need to. I’d definitely go to this clinic over the other clinics. The nurses was hesitant a lil because my dose is higher than their patients but the lady said it was ok and everything was fine. If I need to come back here I’ll definitely go back to this clinic again.
I go to a clinic in southern Indiana all they care about is money always moody I have always wanted to come to a Louisville clinic I currently get 2 weeks take-homes and always wondered if I could just transfer or would… I have to start the process over on getting take-homes
