Gulf Bend Center – Victoria

Had 2or 3 appointments they all went home, when I did get in I had to wait 45 minutes past my appointment time. Then wasn't satisfied with the caseworkers opinion of my diagnosis. Just bad service and very uncaring… people.

I had the same problem as another comment on here. I have a type of insurance. The 1st intake nurse had me sign consent to treat forms and taking personal health information. Tells me to come back in 3 weeks. I come… back and see a second nurse who takes more personal health information. She waits till the end and tells me they don’t take personal insurance. They knew from the 1st nurse I was not going to be a patient yet had me sign consents to treat. I would never have told them all my personal information if I was not going to be seeing a doctor. FRAUD!!!

I go here for my mental health and I usually love every one there for the most part it’s professional and calming but the only issue I have is the front desk receptionist , I believe her name is Della she is completely… rude and rolls her eyes at me , does not communicate properly does not respond when I ask her something she chooses when she wants to respond she will completely ignore me until she feels ready to talk and speaks with aggression/attitude which is completely unprofessional especially dealing with people who already are having issues it’s supposed to be a calm safe place and she does not reside with that , she is not like this with just me I see her speak to every one with attitude and entitlement which is just really sad considering a lot of the people that go there are already at a breaking point

Receiving great help with depression, anxiety and panic attacks. Have great professional staff. And have felt more together than I have in a long time.

I love what they are doing to help the community and I love the improvements that have takin place. May God Bless

Can't reach anyone from this business I left messages and no call back. My case manager quit or something, I haven't seen her in over a month now, was pleased with this place before but I think I'm gonna need to seek… help somewhere else

Sad 11 years ago I tried to kill myself and they told me they couldn’t help me I went in this week just to be told I can’t get mental help I need even after offering to pay cash money for the services due to my mental… health decreasing they instead wanted to put me in drug and alcohol classes even though I’m sober and dont drink or do drugs this place is a joke if you want real professional help from someone who cares Dr Robert Lyman is the right office for you

Friendly helpful staff. Comfortable atmosphere. Make u relax with their familiarity as you get to know each other. Fabulous support system!! Lots of different options for many different topics. Help is just a step or… call away. Walk in intake. Transportation help to and from appointments for Dr, meds, assessments, paperwork, community reference lists. So helpful!! They really listen and communicate. So many possibilities for help with your mental health which is so important!!

Mental Health care & Rehabilitation

Haven't been on meds in years, I finally decided to get back on them and feel normal again. The process is a process, three steps before medications and diagnosed. Two different appointments,the third when is when I get… prescribed medications I was told. Everyone along the way has been so warm and sweet I think her name was Harley something with an h first woman I had talked to. She listened to everything I had to say with concern making sure to get everything down. Very warm and friendly. second woman named Ashley was so sweet and down to earth, very concerned as well was the first Lady, she made sure to write everything down so I could get the help I need. I'm very hopefully on getting on the correct medications and going towards being a more better me. Thank you Gulf bend! ❤

I've been there 3 times still waiting to see the psychiatrist they make you wait too long.. not good for a crisis center..

If I can give 0 stars I would not helpful . Left w no meds .since when is a nurse prititionar a pathologist or went to medical school .they set me up with her not an actual Dr who refused to help .made me cry three… times during the apt judged me and didn't care that I barely sleep .suggested for me to take my muscle relaxers for sleep I take that for my back prescribed by a deff Dr Don't go here please I just wasted my whole day

Never will I recommend or even think twice about having to go to this place. First intake appt was walk in so I got there early . I was the first one for it and we had to wait 5 hours to be put in for an appt. Something… about a mess up at the front desk. I had been sitting there and asking them what's going on . They just kept saying someone will be with you . This was for my 7 year old son who has a DX for ADHD and ODD already . Thank goodness I can control his behavior. It took 10 minutes to put in whatever was needed . We didn't even see a provider. Drove back home . We don't live in Victoria so it was a 45 minute drive one way . Next appt came 4 months later and it was a telemed appt with a 7 year old with ADHD . How ignorant was that and I was never given a heads up. All the Dr did was try to prescribe additional meds to help him sleep at night. This was supose to be a re-evaluation to make sure his current DX is upto date and correct. We, what I thought had, a scheduled follow up appt with the same Dr for a face to face appt. I found someone local and much more adequate for my son's needs so I called to cancel the appt . Well guess what it was never made even though I had a slip showing appt made, in their computer it was not. Thank goodness I didn't drive to Victoria to give the office a 3rd chance. That place is a joke and a waist of time. Find somewhere that is willing to take the time to actually treat the patient. This place is a fckery for sure.
