Wonderful staff and a great experience! Very educational, tons of knowledge. Extremely comfortable environment from the moment you arrive. I highly recommend Hope Valley!
I attended HV 19 years ago due to some cocaine issues. These issues affected my business and my family life. I have been drug and alcohol free for 19 years and I owe ot all to the wonderful people and staff at Hope… Valley. I love you all and I wanted to say thank you all!!

I cannot say enough good things about Hope Valley and my experience there during my 28 day stay. From the moment I walked in to Hope Valley/Women's Division, I felt like everyone, from the counselors to the staff,… genuinely cared about me and wanted to do everything they could to help me have a successful recovery. All of the counselors and staff are also in recovery, which helped them to relate to me on a much more personal level. I felt like they all truly understood me and my addiction and wanted to help me to recover as much as I did. The curriculum, written materials and lectures were excellent and helped me to understand for the first time that my recovery from alcoholism is not just about not drinking, but in order for me to stay sober, I have to heal my emotional, physical and spiritual self. Hope Valley and its excellent counselors and program gave me the tools to do so. I have tried to overcome my addiction to alcohol for 13 years, and finally, after participating in Hope Valley's 28 day recovery program, I have the hope and confidence that I can stay sober and live a happy and peaceful life. I am so grateful to Billie, the counselors and staff at Hope Valley, and I highly recommend Hope Valley Recovery Center to anyone who is serious about overcoming their addiction and gaining the tools necessary to have a happy and content life without drugs and/or alcohol.
Hope Valley was excellent. I have been to 2 other treatment centers and Hope Valley's curriculum, counselors, AA/NA knowledge and guidance far exceeded the others. I have come away feeling clear, happy and now have the… tools and knowledge of how to live a meaningful sober life. So grateful for this place. In addition, rooms are very comfortable, food is great, you can smoke if you would like, and the grounds and surrounding views are really nice. Thank you so much Hope Valley!!!!!
I wish that I had went to Hope Valley when I went to treatment the first time. My experience at Hope Valley has been nothing less than life changing. And I can honestly say, there is just something about it, I have… never experienced anywhere else. The amount of growth, learning, and fellowship cannot be expressed in words. If you are committed to your recovery, there's nothing else like Hope Valley
Hope Valley helped me get my mind straight and my life back on track and I’m thankful. The staff were very helpful & knowledgeable. If you had a problem or just needed to talk to somebody, they were there to help you.… If anyone is looking for a treatment facility, I would highly recommend checking out Hope Valley before you go anywhere else. The food was also very good and they gave you PLENTY of it.
Fantastic staff! Great food! Changed my life!
Best place ever!!!
Life changing experience at Hope Valley. Everyone is very personable and understanding. There is a great amount of knowledge to be gained with this program. Also, if you leave hungry it’s your own fault. The food is… great! Thanks everyone at Hope Valley!
Absolutely the best experience I have ever had. Life changing. This was the very first rehabilitation facility I had and hopefully will ever have to go to. I was a client more than four years ago and I have still been… successful in my sobriety! Please, if you need help, call these people. I'm sure they will go above and beyond to ensure you get the help you need. My life has been changed for all the better. And all I had to do was follow the directions they gave me. I am so very grateful to Hope Valley and the impact that they have had not only in my life but the lives of so many others as well.
Hope Valley saved my life! I was a beat down and completely broken man when I first got into treatment. I didn’t see much hope for my future. But I was willing to give it one last shot. The Counselors and Staff were… amazing. Any questions were answered and if not right away we worked to find them. They taught me a new way of life and for the first time in a long time I have Hope! I suggest anyone who is struggling today and can’t find peace to give it a shot.
I have been to many treatment centers in my days, and I have to say that Hope Valley is the best one I've ever been to. They focus their treatment on the whole person, rather than simple abstinence. The curriculum for… classes is Twelve-Step based, and I really enjoyed what they had to say about this disease. Hope Valley helped me get my life back, and they also assisted in getting my health on track with a CPAP machine and exercise suggestions. Like I said, they focus on the whole person rather than just not using and drinking and I think that separates Hope Valley from any other treatment center.
Hope valley is a great treatment center, with good and helpful staff memebers, and good food to eat. They helped me greatly in my recovery. Definitely recommended if you want to over come Alcohol and Drugs. And they… accommodated my needs as a amputee.
My name is Aaron. I went to hope valley from May 6th - June 4th 2025. Hope valley is easily one of the best treatment centers I have ever gone to. It focuses on the 12 steps in a way that is relatable and passionate. I… love Hope Valley and give them the highest recommendation!!! Regain the first day of the rest of your life at Hope Valley!
Title: Be Aware—and Be Afraid: My Personal Warning About my counselor at Hope Valley Review: In my experience as a residential inpatient at Hope Valley, my counselor did not support my recovery—she undermined it. I came… seeking structure, clarity, and compassion. What I encountered was manipulation, mismanagement, and a stunning lack of professional integrity. Rather than focusing on my healing, she seemed fixated on control—on trying, unsuccessfully, to break me. She was furious when I independently arranged a Zoom meeting with my outside support team during the only one hour across 31 days that worked for everyone. That hour—a moment of unity, progress, and clarity—seemed to threaten her authority more than it served my recovery. That speaks volumes. I paid five figures out of pocket for this experience. And what did I get? Wasted weekends with no structure. No meaningful therapeutic engagement. No help finding sober living. No aftercare referrals. No educational planning. Nothing. I had to do all of it myself—everything she was either unwilling, unable, or too incompetent to do. My counselor’s negligence contributed to a dangerously mishandled discharge. The result: rebound insomnia, anxiety, and destabilization when I was most vulnerable. In my view, she failed the most fundamental test of any recovery professional—to do no harm. This is my truth: be aware, and be afraid. If my counselor is assigned to your case, document everything, advocate fiercely for yourself, and remember—recovery should be about your healing, not her control.
Been to seven different treatment facilities, but this one is the one that took to save my life. Been clean 18 months. Hope Valley is a really beautiful place out in the mountains. I got to see my counselor multiple… times during the week and could talk to her anytime I wanted to it is a very tight network and more intimate than any treatment center I’ve ever been to. I found my sponsor while at Hope Valley This place has truly save my life.
Been to several rehab facilities. Wish I would have came to Hope Valley the first time! I learned more about addiction here than all of the other places combined. Hope Valley is the real deal!
I was a patient of Hope Valley. I had long since been in denial of help for severe alcoholism; let alone was bent on conquering a demon I would not bring myself to accept that existed in my personal life. Hope Valley,… in all of their excellence, helped me understand that I did indeed have a problem. A problem that was not too far out of the realm of recollection and reconciliation. Hope Valley helped me understand that I have a disease. Once I accepted the fact, with their help, I began a vast road to recovery. As an alcoholic, I will always be an alcoholic, but given their loving, understanding, supportive care I am on a much better path to a life of recovery. I cannot give enough thanks to the loving, supportive and not to mention caring people of Hope Valley that I now lovingly call my family. 8 months later and I still credit Hope Valley with saving my life. And to think that 9 months ago I was content with walking a path with a lonely, dark end. Hope Valley allowed me to be alive to type this today. I show enough thanks. Justin C.
There’s no place like hope valley! From the incredible staff to the classes to the food. This place helped show me there is another way to live! I’m forever grateful to this place for helping me to turn my life around!
These people and this placed changed my life!!! I was hopeless and they gave me hope! They helped me build back my relationship with God! They helped me become an honest productive member of society! Forever grateful… that God led me here!
I highly recommend this place
This place is amazing. The staff here want to help you, it's inexpensive, and the curriculum itself is fantastic. If you want to go somewhere and get something substantial from your stay, this is the place to go.
As someone who went through Hope Valley and now has over 5 years of sobriety, I highly recommend if you're sick and tired of being sick and tired. The program gave me a place to find my bearings and establish a solid… after care program. The staff care about you and the counselors actually take the time to teach you new ways of coping without using. If you find yourself looking into a 30 day program for yourself or a loved one God bless you and have hope. Because we do recover. If you really want a life change Hope Valley is definitely a good place to start.
I went to Hope Valley in 2016. I was coming off of benzos and alcohol, an extremely heavy amount. Because of the staffs inability to take my withdrawal seriously I spent my 2 month severely hallucinating. Hearing,… seeing and feeling things that weren’t there. I begged to go to a psych ward and eventually they allowed me to go. There I was handcuffed and put in a small room. While at the psych ward I was given meds to help with my withdrawal and the doctor there expressed concern about how my withdrawal was handled. The staff came to get me and because of their refusal to put me on a withdrawal medication I was instead put on a strong anti psychotic. This put me in an extreme stupor and I gained 65 pounds in my last month there. It took me a total of 8 months to feel right again. Suffice to say I did not stay sober as the results of the way I was handled at Hope Valley created more harm than good. Years later I went to a rehab that medically took me off these same medications and I never experienced any of the nightmare I explained above. I now have 3 years sober thanks to professional care and AA. I unfortunately have effects from Hope Valley that are permanent, my body convulses badly still from time to time and my head still feels “off”. My hope is that Hope Valley and you will read this and understand that withdrawal from benzos, alcohol and barbiturates are no joke and refusal to medically step down a client can cause permanent damage. If you are in the predicament I was in please consider what I have written. Ask if you will be taken care of medically, this will make or break your chance at long term sobriety. You are not alone.
