I am very grateful for The Lakes. Everyone on staff was kind, patient and empathetic. We had a family member stay there and The Lakes changed her life and our lives for the better. They treated her like family and from… the time she arrived to the time she was ready to come home... it was immediately apparent she was in much better health mentally, emotionally and physically. Not only did they provide her with help she sorely needed but they provide the tools needed to ensure success after as well with a more 'dual diagnostics' approach which I found VERY effective. Now with life after The Lakes, she made friends with other guests there and has established a great support group. The Lakes approach encourages guests to develop friendships that people can carry after they leave. I've seen other treatment centers and this is not your 'typical' treatment center. This one has a much more 'family' oriented approach that will help you on multiple levels. So THANK YOU to all the staff there... I feel like we got a new lease on life and we are super grateful for all your help. (Also... the food was excellent so kudos to the kitchen staff too) You just don't get that 'family vibe' anywhere else for a place like this and that's a key component to The Lakes success. UPDATE: one year later and she is still doing great... not just great but the happiest and most fulfilled I've ever seen her. The Lakes really works... I am SO grateful for them.

The Lakes Treatment Center is an amazing place. The staff is very welcoming and supportive. They understand addiction and truly care about helping people become the best versions of themselves. If you are battling… addiction, I would highly recommend calling The Lakes.

The lakes was a game changer in my life. A miracle. My first experience at getting clean and I've been clean 3 years since. They gave me my fresh start. Its the only place I trust to take my brother. And I know he's… going to have a blast. Such a great environment. The best staff. So grateful.

This seems to be a very helpful rehab facility. I have known a few people to begin they're recovery there and are still working an active program. The staff seems to be genuine and knowledgeable, as well as empathetic.… They show real concern and are respectful in their processes. It's nice to see success from a program.

This treatment center seriously saves lives!! The entire staff are beyond amazing!! I would recommend this place to any and every loved one struggling with addiction!!!

I was a resident at the lakes from 5-6-25 till 7/20/25. During my stay I would get up and be at the gym at 5 am 5 days a week to train with Steve he taught me that hard work pays off and to be outside of self. For that… I will be forever grateful to Steve for believing in me.

The Lakes is an excellent Recovery Center with exceptional staff. The recovery process/journey is never easy, but with staff like Alexis and Zach the process is much more smooth and comforting. Thank you guys for all… the time and energy that you invest each day!

The lakes treatment center saved my life. The RA staff and counselors are absolutely amazing and because of them I have completely changed my life and will forever be grateful to Zach Remsburg and Alexis Rinehart for… their constant support and positive push making my recovery possible!! This place seems like it is amazing, and I’m so grateful it exists. However, when I called to see if I could relay a message to my brother who is staying there, I had an unpleasant experience. Amber answered the phone,… and I introduced myself as his sister. Before I could explain further, she curtly said she couldn’t confirm whether he was staying there and then hung up on me. I understand there may be privacy policies, but the interaction felt unnecessarily cold and dismissive. Unfortunately, this left me with a poor first impression.

Hey all this is Izzy and I want to give a big shout out to all the Lakes family and staff. First I want to start with Bernadette an Travis! I appreciate them greatly for giving me the opportunity to put my life in check… again. I couldn’t have don’t it without you and I am truly grateful. However I want to give a super big shoutout to my first counselor Jeremy helped me greatly in my communication skills with my wife and my disease. Now this next shout out goes out to RA who I believe should be a counselor he is on a great path and has helped me shine with others I didn’t think I could get along with. He’s a great inspiration to my life and changing my life style I look up to you brother Joey. My heart is with you man and I know you will achieve your goals as a counselor one day as you have counseled me through a lot of things with good advice and tools that I now carry with me. You are the greatest brother one love your little brother Izzy. I also want to give one more shout out to a really good RA by the name of Jaime you stood by me as a friend with understanding and you never judged me. Hello my name is Ruben i just graduated from the lakes treatment center with 83 days clean and sober and now living in a sober living home in Huntington beach California i was addicted to fentanyl and meth for so many… years of my life coming to the lakes I did not know what to expect but it was the best rehab and detox I have ever experienced I appreciate Bernadette and Travis for giving me the opportunity and the pleasure of coming there and Bella and Finley the wiener dog was very cool to but honestly if it wasn't for the#1 RA Joey being there and guiding me thru all my difficult times and being so understanding and so helpful with guidance and support I couldn't do it with out him that man helped me dig deep within myself and showed me that anything is possible and no matter what background we come from AS LONG AS WE REACH FOR OUR DREAMS ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE,I love you Joey you changed my life and made the biggest impact in my life nobody has ever pushed me to do so good ever and I wish you the best brotha also I gotta shout out to RACHEL ,Trish,Dustin& my brottha Dj, Steve Brad ,Zach and RT all the am crew was so awesome all the kitchen staff was awesome i love you Paula and all the females in the kitchen your lady's are all amazing women love you guys also shout out to the the nurses the whole pm crew rocked Thank you guyS I have been struggling to stay clean for so many years and I finally found the tools and the right people to help me stay positive and hold my self accountable for my actions and I just want everybody to know that we all deserve a second chance in life and I wish everyone a sober and healthy life Thanks Lakes family

The lakes treatment center has made my first experience a great one to remember the detox process lacks nothing I can think of the staff here are more than willing to go above and beyond from my experience personally if… you are working the program they will work with you my counselor Sara took time to accomplish a recovery plan that will benefit me in the short and long term.

The Lakes Treatment Center has provided exceptional care; consistently delivering high quality services to their patients and always prioritizing continuity of care. I had a family member in treatment and his counselor… Jeremy did a seamless job at providing the care, guidance and support necessary which was instrumental to his progress. Thank you for all you do! Been here for over three weeks of a 30 day program, and this is by far the best treatment center anyone seeking recovery could possibly ask for.

The Lakes Treatment Center has made a significant and positive impact on my boyfriend’s recovery. His progress has been remarkable, demonstrating the effectiveness of their approach. The staff are consistently… professional, compassionate, and welcoming to both patients and visitors. I totally recommend this place it's basically a five-star resort for soberness I've learned so much since I've been here these last couple of months. plus the RA are wonderful Zack and Adam especially .thank you guys… for all the wisdom you gave me I recommend this place to anybody who's willing to try to get sober.

This place has changed my life it is a real Oasis in the middle of nowhere but a luxury treatment center with wonderful staff Zach and ra and Adam were some of my favorite people and I learned a lot of helpful skills… from these people I will use for the rest of my life. this place has changed my outlook on treatment facilities wonderful positive things to say only

They do it all. Everything from making me comfortable as possible detoxing to building me up and showing me there is a better way to live. I ate good. I had a close relationship to staff and other residents because of… the comfortable atmosphere. When I was in crisis they worked me through it. They helped me build a better bond with my family and loved ones. They encouraged me and still keep in contact with me today and I've been out of treatment for about two months. I went to a 12 step meeting yesterday and there was only 8 people at the meeting and 4 of us were former Lakes residents. I have 101 days clean today and couldn't have done it without the strong foundation The Lakes helped me build. I have helped 2 friends get into treatment there because they seen my success. I am grateful beyond words for the facility and everything they have done for me. I go to visit often because I will always consider that a second home to me and the staff and residents my second family. 4/20/2025 Update: I have 390 clean and free of all drugs and alcohol. I am so thankful for The Lakes for giving me my the courage and tools to build a whole new life.

Rafa B. So from the first day, I arrived the staff has been really good. They’ve been giving me everything that I’ve needed to learn for my sobriety and any other needs our accommodated with no problem and they’re very… friendly and the staff loves to do what they are doing so they make you feel really welcome. I recommend that if you’re trying to get sober that The Lakes is a place to come to.

This place changed my life forever. I have been to numerous rehabs in the past & this is the only one that i was able to find lasting sobriety. The food is amazing, the staff is supportive & goes above & beyond for… individual needs while making sure it stays safe & peace ful for every one else. The grounds are always clean, the rooms are accommodating & the program & groups are structured in a way that helps residents build the skills they need to get & stay sober. Not to mention this is the only affordable rehab I found in the state of California that allows couples to come & be housed together which allowed me to bring my significant other. & we are both sober to this day. After a 17 year drug addiction, I finally had enough and turned to the lakes for help. The treatment team and staff treated me like family from day one and made my detox as comfortable as possible. My stay there was one… of the best! Before graduating, my counselor sat with me and discussed my exit plan. It worked. Today I have 14 months clean, longest I've ever had. I'm currently going back to school to be a substance use counselor! Words cannot explain how thankful I am for the lakes helping me get and stay clean! Without Travis working with my family and getting me in, I never would have made it this far! THANK YOU TO EVERYONE AT THE LAKES!

A Life-Changing Experience at Lakes Treatment Center I can't express enough how much the Lakes Treatment Center in Copperopolis, CA, has impacted my life. As a dual diagnosis treatment center, they provide specialized… care for both substance abuse and mental health, and I truly believe they saved my life. From the very beginning, I felt like part of a family. The staff here are absolutely amazing and went far beyond their duties to help me through my recovery journey. My counselor, Olena, was exceptional—always patient, understanding, and deeply committed to my progress. The team of counselors, including Jeremy, Jenna, Stevie, and Nate, were all incredible. They made such a difference in my life, and their compassion and dedication to their work shine through every single day. The on-site activities, led by Steve, were not only enjoyable but also therapeutic. They made waking up each day feel exciting and helped me stay engaged and motivated throughout the recovery process. I also have to mention the food—chef Paula and Robert Torres are true professionals! Every meal was delicious and made with care, which was a nice touch in an environment where you’re focusing on your well-being. The family atmosphere created by the staff truly set Lakes Treatment Center apart. It’s clear that everyone here genuinely cares about the residents, making us feel loved, accepted, and nurtured every step of the way. I will forever be grateful for the treatment, support, and community at Lakes Treatment Center. Without them, I honestly don't know where I’d be in life today. I want to thank the lakes for there part in my recovery, the environment is very conducive to a very positive and peaceful environment, the staff were outstanding and helpful to me.The counselors were very caring and… understanding,and their guidance helped me to understand and educate me on my addiction.They supported me,and advocated for me to help get through the insurance and legal issues I faced. The residents were very caring and supportive, I felt like we were one big family. I walked in not knowing what to expect but after graduating the program I feel reborn and I’m very grateful for the lakes and everyone there. Would recommend without a doubt!
