New Hope Recovery in Modesto saved my life. The staff treated me like they really care. Warren and Santos( my counselors) gave me tools I use everyday to stay sober. They didn’t just talk to me about recovery, they… walked it with me. They are amazing people who go out of their way to make sure I got the help to succeed in my recovery while attending and completing the program. I never felt judged in this place. If you’re ready to change, this is the place. Highly recommend.

I would definitely recommend anyone struggling to come here and find new hope.

Amazing treatment facility I was afraid of going to rehab but i loved it so much there I didn't even want to leave staff is incredible and it shows that they care about the clients it's very structured and the food is… amazing another plus is that there is an NA meeting on the property in the trailer next to the facility which actually helps a lot. If you are looking to change your life and get free from active addiction with success this is the place to go for sure I would give them 10 stars if I could 🙂

When I first got to New Hope Recovery I didn't think I needed to be there I was blaming everyone else but to be honest New Hope saved my life it's great place to go to learn a lot of great tools and knowledge that helps… control the disease of addiction.New Hope help me turn my life around and found out who I really was, I learned how to care for other ,how to be honest , and how to accept life on life terms how to deal with feelings and emotions there are 2 people I will never forget Ms. September and Marty they did so much for me plus they always made me feel safe they're not just counselors they are family I never felt judged and they never sugar coated nothing they always keep it 💯. The realest thing I was told when I was there, " Trust The Process" the program work if you work it. I can go on and go about New Hope because I love this new way of life that I wouldn't of got without a Recovery Program that had people that I would call me on my BS and had people that was trustworthy but don't take my word for it go see for yourself there's a meeting there everyday at 7 am go check it out .

I was fortunate enough to have spent 30 days in residential at new hope and then about 21 days in the partial hospitalization(Php). All I can say that it was absolutely live saving for me, the entire staff was extremely… friendly and my counselor Daniel Chavez was really helpful! September who runs Php was extremely understanding and supportive while I was in treatment! I could write an essay on how much of a help all the staff was! A special thank you to upper management (shawna and Katy) for believing in me and providing an opportunity to work on myself. And for allowing me to see ufc 300! While in residential that was clutch for me in my recovery!! Thank you new hope for everything!!

Greatful for the treatment New Hope gave my husband. This is not a rest and relaxation recovery program, it’s an actual treatment program. The staff to patient ratio is great. The counseling is family and individually… based. Love that they didn’t just treat the addiction, but also the life style and choices the patients make.

New Hope Recovery saved my life. They focus 100% on fixing every aspect of my life. Was able to have time with family and counsel with them, but plenty of time to fix myself. Got me accustomed to outside meetings the… staff was absolutely there because they love what they do and counselors are very well educated and helpful. Would recommend this place to everyone that is serious about helping themselves and getting sober thank you New Hope!

★★★★★

If you're looking to get clean and sober, this is the place for you. It is a very intense treatment program. 6 hours of groups a day. That is what people with addictions need. Other treatment centers are just a 30-90… day vacation without any beneficial knowledge for your recovery. They allow you to go to outside meetings and Church. All of the case managers are very knowledgeable and care about your recovery. I highly recommend New Hope.

I spent 28 days here in residential treatment and did 20 sessions of php (partial hospitalization) which is their out patient program. my counselor in there September was amazing, she truly built me up in ways that made… it easier for me to navigate my emotions and understand why i am the way i am. she was so supportive through everything i brought in that that room. truly gave me a better understanding of my alcoholism! the residential part of it, however was a different story. a lot of people in there are unprofessional. through my own experience and through things i’ve heard from former clients i’m still in contact with. but that’s business, at the end of the day they are there for a paycheck and every work place has their own drama. just sucks that’s where you’re put to live, i get that we’re all there because we messed up and need help and chose to be (most of the time there are ultimatums, so we could argue the “choice”aspect ) but when you’re living there temporarily and whatnot , showering, eating, conversing and sleeping; and there is petty drama around you , it really dulls your mood and your hope. you’re made to feel bad about yourself, but no one there really fixes the issues or even talks to you about it as they are severely understaffed and it’s obvious the staff is stressed out due to that. my case manager in there spoke with me a hand full of times one on one?? intake promised 1 on 1 counseling everyday. If they were not telling the truth or if staff wasn’t doing they’re job, i may never know. I felt as if my needs weren’t a priority. i was also sick with strep throat in there 3 days before going to urgent care. i was told my covid test came out negative so im “just sick and fine!” eventually, 3 days later my fever was over 100° so someone took me to the urgent care. what do you know? strep throat and antibiotics were needed. 3 days to take me , it was either ambulance or family could take me. and the staff member who took me almost seemed bothered to do so. my mother was sick and an hour away. my main support was outside meetings and people i met at said outside meetings. it was an overpriced hotel your insurance pays for. they filled out my disability paperwork wrong, blamed EDD and the issue was never resolved. i never got paid what i should have. they had promised me it would be taken care of. but when push comes to shove, what am i left with? a bunch of bills after being out of work to do the program. That was my experience & Take away. Ashley , September , Jonathan , Teresa and Warren were my saving grace there. I’m sober now, with tools under my belt to combat the hard times. The thought of never wanting to go back is prevalent. So it worked, I’m sober and a hell of a lot grateful for this life I live and got to come back home too. Thank you, New Hope.

I was here for 30 days in 2012 and it saved my life. You have to participate in your recovery. The reading and writing groups, as difficult as they were, are crucial to you making it out in the real world and surviving.… You have to learn to fill that empty hole with substance other than drugs and alcohol and you have to understand the difference of emotions you experience. I got that at new hope. I did the work, poured my soul out on paper and read it to the world and it was so freeing to me. It needed to happen so I could be the example for my kids on what not to do in life. Prescription pills will destroy you even though they come from "professionals/ doctors". New Hope gave me a 2nd chance with my family and life. They will forever be in my heart and in my recommendations if anyone I know needs help.

I was a resident at New Hope Recovery for 34 days. They played a huge part in my recovery, they were caring and gave me the right tools to taking that new chapter in my life towards my sobriety. Currently I’m in the… outpatient program. I learned recovery is a lifetime experience. I would definitely recommend New Hope to the addict who is tired of being tired and wants help. They also keep an open door policy when you complete the program. To visit members who are in recovery and share about their experience and how New Hope benefited from their stay. Great place to fight addiction.

I've got more out of this facility then a previous treatment center. They make sure when you leave the center you have a plan and the tools needed to succeed and make sure you feel your not doing it on your own your… able to return and visit for groups or meetings also OMJ n/a meeting in the morning and a crisis bed if you ever feel tempted to relapse.
