I ultimately decided to leave LifeStance after a repeated pattern of experiences that left me feeling unheard and unsupported as a patient. Over the course of my treatment, I repeatedly communicated concerns about how… strongly I tend to react to changes in my care. Unfortunately, there were multiple occasions where I experienced significant problems and felt that my concerns had not been adequately taken into account beforehand. When I tried to get help during these situations, I experienced communication problems and extended delays that left me feeling like I was navigating serious medical issues largely on my own. What has been most frustrating is that these were not isolated concerns. I communicated my experiences and concerns, and I expected that they would inform how my care was handled going forward. Instead, I repeatedly found myself in situations where I did not feel there was an adequate plan or reliable support when things went wrong. My experiences with therapy through the practice were also inconsistent. I felt overall that the provider was not engaged with the session and lacked the level of personal tailoring I was familiar with in from past mental health providers. I understand that mental health treatment is complicated and that not every treatment works for every person. My concern is not that every outcome was predictable or that every treatment decision should have gone differently. My concern is that, after repeatedly communicating serious concerns, I still did not feel heard or adequately supported when I needed help. After several years of treatment, I ultimately reached the point where I no longer had confidence in the care I was receiving and decided to seek treatment elsewhere. I am sharing this because I think prospective patients should know that my experience involved more than a single disappointing appointment. It was a repeated pattern that ultimately caused me to lose trust in the practice.

The entire team with Lifestance is very professional. Angela Goodson, PMH-NP is wonderful as is Tawana Ross, SW. They are easy to talk to and very supportive.

Angela Goodson is an incredible psychiatrist who always makes me feel heard. She fine tuned my medication regimen and I feel I have control in my life again.

LifeStance has definitely saved my life and cares about my mental health. They have a wonderful, supportive and caring staff. From appointments, medication, to wellness plans; LifeStance has me covered with the best… care possible.

I feel very lucky to find a great physchiatrist in Dr. Kadar. He takes time to understand my current psychological problems and gives great advice and adjust my medicines.

I’ve been seeing Izabella Michalik for medication management for about four months, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. She is thorough, patient, and genuinely takes the time to make sure you understand your… options. She explains potential side effects, what to expect, and answers questions without ever making you feel rushed. I really appreciate how involved and thoughtful she is throughout the process. Terrible place they keep charging you more and more years after you’ve been done with service there, they charge 100$ for no shows when there therapist do it i get no money back it’s a complete bs money grab they are… not here to help anybody terrible place all around . On top of that I was doing it for probation and was told the whole time they would be able to suffice for what I needed for probation then when it came time they completely screwed me 3 grand down the drain later thanks Jason for leaving me Ina harder predicament after getting out of the one I was in.
