The environment was respectful, caring, understanding and supportive. We were treated as adults that have worth. I feel that everyone did their job to the best of their ability. I felt like I was part of my recovery… team.

So I arrived at Mt.Regis like most others do,tired and confused, angry and feeling guilty, shameful and unworthy. I was seriously damaged inside, and out. All I knew for sure is that I wanted and needed to be, and do… better with and for myself and my life. I suffer from PTSD, and I have been through some horrible ordeals in my lifetime. I had been neglectful, and neglected. My thoughts were all scrambled and my thought process was dangerously out of order. While I was in treatment I was treated with so much respect, and understanding that it almost felt surreal to me, especially because of the life I had been living, and the treatment I was being given by all those fake friends, and even some of my family members over the years. The staff at Mt.Regis made me feel welcome, and appreciated. They taught me how to find and collect myself. They gave me all the tools I needed to make a full recovery, and also how to use them. I applied those tools which were coping skills, trigger recognition, accountability, honesty, self recognition, goal setting, boundary setting, changes to my environment and appreciation for my peers who were facing and dealing with the same challenges as myself. By doing so, I found my true self, one known as a nurturer. I was assisted with every aspect of my recovery and treated like a person worthy of a second chance and the respect and understanding that can only be given by true friends, "Family". I say family because that's exactly what I gained during my treatment. I have formed true friendships and bonds that will stand the test of time, and a family that has been supportive of me from day one. I owe My.Regis all the respect and appreciation in the world. They truly saved my life, and I will never be able to repay them for that. I'm now in a step down program, and upon completion of it,and after a few more months of clean and sober living, I hope to return to Mt.Regis as a Recovery Coach.I see that as my way of paying this gift of life forward. I want more than most other things to be able to be for someone else exactly what Mt.Regis was to me,a Lifesaver. To anyone in need of help obtaining a clean and sober life, I highly recommend My.Regis for your support and recovery team. If you are serious about getting your life back in order, and rebuilding it from the bottom up there is no better place to do so and achieve greatness. Thank you Mt.Regis, and your amazing staff members. Yours truly, Brian Rose

The blonde bubbly pleasant (big smile) recovery coach Suzy did not once huff, puff, shame, point, judge, critique, approach with a holier than thou attitude. Instead she met each and every client with a smile and… assisted gracefully with a touch of dare I say it again PLEASANTNESS. She embodies compassion, friendliness , empathy and support . she should be running the place.

If your looking for place to begin a healthy way of life, and pull out of the darkness of addiction, as I was, Mt.Regis is a great place to start a new chapter. Like anything in life you get out what you put into it,… The staff is very knowledgeable, caring and empathetic as many were trapped in the cycle of addiction themselves, and truly can relate to what your going through. I Felt a peace the moment I surrendered the fear and walked through their doors, its a special place to me as it can be for you to.

My experience at Mt.Regis was overwhelmingly positive. Both times I was there, the staff were knowledgeable, caring, and genuinely invested in my well-being. I never felt ashamed returning because I believed that this… place could support my recovery as long as I was willing to do the footwork. They focused on giving me the the tools I needed to move forward. They made recovery feel possible instead of overwhelming. They never asked me to do anything that they themselves weren't willing or hadn't already done. One thing Im learning in recovery is that there's always room for improvement. And I saw that same mindset at Mount Regis. They were always striving to provide the best care, and it showed in the way they treated people. That commitment to continuous improvement inspired me to approach my own recovery the same way to keep learning, keep growing, and never stop working towards a healthier life. Forever grateful, thank you, Mount Regis!

When some downtrodden individual limps in your front door still wearing a bike helmet and backpack asking for information and says he's having a rough day and he isn't ok, telling him to go call the corporate number… isn't acceptable in any establishment much less a mental health one. Also I was verbally assaulted at the REBOS mens meeting tonight for not outing a fellow alcoholic by giving him his name because he thought he worked with the guy I vaguely spoke of in my share. I believe it was one of your guys that came in the van. NOT COOL. Guess if that's what you teach I dont want to be there. I'm down at sheetz getting lit. Hope I can find a junkie still up to score from. I'll take my state BCBS insutance card somewhere else. You know it's quality when you get an auto response to your relapse. Keep up the good work fellas!

Wouldnt give this place one star! Absolutely horrible care of the residents ! No communication! Little to no therapy ! My husband is a type 1 diabetic he saw the medical provider twice during his stay ! One time he was… prescribed a blood pressure med that could have potentially hurt him as the drug warning said absolutely not to take if you have pancreatic issues ! My husband has half a pancrease the Dr was aware of this and gave it anyway ! This places pushes suboxen on everyone ! If patients declines then they are marked non compliant and released from treatment with no safety plan! The do not return phone calls , they give you the patients wrong information! Horrible communication!!! My husband was there over 18 days and saw a counselor 3 times ! When he was discharged they kept his money in the safe , several personal belongings and also lost the charging chord to his diabetic insulin pump! This place needs reported for medicaid fraud as well as medical negligence ! WOULD NOT TAKE A SNAIL THERE !! They are in big pharmas back pocket and are only interested in creating legalized customers , not helping people get sober ! Oh and forget getting your medical records at discharge thats not an option !! EPIC FAIL for all staff and the center as a whole !!!!

The place is nice and clean and that's about all you can say good about my experience there was awful they treated me awful they turn their back on me they did not help me with my problems they kicked me out because I… complain about my neck hurting so bad I cannot pay attention in class and absorb the stuff that they was trying to teach they treat everybody like a number there it's cold shoulder for the beginning their smiles on their faces are fake and they lost my stuff and did not replace it brand new stuff for my birthday and when they sent me to the hospital they told him that I was manic and I got TD and then at the hospital they said there was nothing wrong with me I was just Manning because I was hurting so bad and they wouldn't take care of me I wouldn't recommend this place for nobody exhaust smoke and mirrors and they don't give a damn about nobody

I highly do not recommend this program. I do not agree with giving addicts a drug that is addictive to get them off of another drug. I also believe that they are not invested in family recovery support. I tried to call… multiple times while my son was in the program to set up visitation with him due to the fact that I am an amputee in a whole other state from him. I never received a phone call back Or any communication to assist in my support of my child. I am currently enrolled in college. My degree is a BS in business with a minor in psychology. My ultimate goal is to become a recovery specialist. And I promised myself in every addict that I am involved in that I will do much better than this program has ever done. My son has been an Addict for a while now and it is because of programs like this that he has failed multiple times. I myself am also a recovering addict. I have been sober for nine years and eight months. The things my son told me that was going on in that program that was not being addressed Or corrected is shameful to the recovery Programs. And that includes behaviors from the patients and staff that are in higher positions that should be holding the most respect. He is involved in another program in Roanoke, Virginia, and I will give them the utmost respect. Their staff communicates with me and involves me in every aspect of my son’s recover. If you are looking for a variant involved program, please contact the mission in Roanoke, Virginia. I give them all my praise And hope that when I graduate college I can find a program in my area that cares as much as their staff Does about their participants.
