Well I used to go to Bowen center I came in on my own... The lady doctor I would see Dr.Gree let me remind you I came there on my own right. Well the doctor wanted me to do therapy which I didn't need or want they just… wanted to charge my insurance. I felt like they could care less about your problems or how you feel.. the doctor cut me down on my medicine after taking it for 5 months after I have told her the medicine isn't working can we please try something different. She told me No I don't even want to prescribe you what I'm prescribing you. And then had and attitude about what I asked And then I go to the next appointment and she cut me off my medicine because I didn't make my last therapy appointment. After I told her and the therapist lady I struggle with transportation. And was fine seeing me once a month. I missed two appointments They don't care and the therapist magen see. Cancel her appointment with me because she thought or thinks I cancelled because I didn't want to see her or go. Which that wasn't the case at all. I rescheduled had to go to the hospital. Right at that moment at the bowen center. That's when I felt it's that they just want to charge your insurance and could care less what you say just give medicine that doesn't work and then have the nerve to say you just want the medicine after I have asked multiple times to change me on something different that's the problem lady the medicine isn't working for me. The doctor always made me feel uncomfortable because she didn't care enough I've never seen a doctor get rude with you because you asked if can try different medications... I didn't know a doctor can just take your med away pass every drug screen and only miss 2 therapy appointment and tell you I'm not gonna see you anymore go somewhere else. Thats just all negative vibes at the bowen center...Let me tell you the therapist lady tells me in my last session with her that I know where you live I live down the road from you. That should of been hipp laws she was unprofessional and she should of kept that to her self. There was no reason to tell me that. And tells me my 2nd appointment with her thats she can't catch a break how the boss schedule her 7 to 8 people to see a day. That's your job hun not complain that you see these people that tell there whole life story to it's sad I never felt like the doctor truly cared or the therapist. I want ever go back or recommend it...

The doctor I have for MAT does not care about my well being and continues to only push for me to be in Bowen Treatment/Therapy classes. I made it aware and was honest about my struggles instead of figuring the correct… medication i was told I need classes. I suggest finding somewhere else where they will listen to you.

I started going to The Bowen Center back in 2022… while I was REALLY struggling with my mental health. At first, it was very difficult for me to find the right therapy and medications that worked for me… it took about a… year before I finally found the right psychiatrist… and of course, there was also a lot of trial and error with medications before I could even feel stable again. After finally finding a regimen that worked, I began to see a light at the end of my tunnel. I was doing well for about a year before they switched my psychiatrist to Dr Hani Ahmad. My initial meeting with Dr Ahmad was extremely brief and somewhat uncomfortable. He barely greeted me before he told me “I read through your file and believe that you have been misdiagnosed. I think that you’re extremely anxious from trauma and you just have a ton of PTSD.” Then he informed me that he would be discontinuing all the meds that I had been prescribed from my previous psychiatrist. …I pretty much begged him not to discontinue my Bipolar med after I had explained how long I struggled before I found a prescription that worked for me… and that I disagreed, stating that I did not believe that I had been “misdiagnosed”. He then said, “The previous psychiatrist that you were seeing is no longer here because she over-diagnosed and over-medicated patients. We are going to start from a new baseline and I am going to be discontinuing your meds.” I COULD NOT BELIEVE how insanely rude and inappropriate he was being, while discussing the performance of the other staff members there. The entire meeting lasted less than 10 minutes and it felt extremely unprofessional. It took me over a year to find out where my old psychiatrist was practicing and my mental health suffered significantly because of how quickly I was dismissed by Dr. Ahmad. I ended up having to call the facility for a referral in order to see my old psychiatrist at her new practice... and they refused to send one, stating that they weren’t able to because I hadn’t had a visit at The Bowen Center within a year. I will never go back there again for any kind of service. Ever.

Overall a great place for MAT the biggest complaint I have is the doctors are slow to respond to changes they made. Rescheduling on their behalf means no medication for several days which is very detrimental to MAT… patients.

Very frustrating experience. I specifically asked them to keep my appointment as scheduled because I planned to attend, but they still canceled it. Now they’re trying to reschedule me two months out, which is… unacceptable.

This place is a freaking joke. They don't care about helping people. They do more harm than good. They don't even try to give a proper diagnosis and they sure don't care about your well being. They can't keep help… because employees start to realize how corrupt they really are. They mixed my meds so much I ended up in ICU and instead of owning up to their mistakes they put in the report that it was a SUICIDE ATTEMPT!!!! I refuse to let you do that to me again!! I'm a person, not your guinea pig!! UPDATE!!! I wish they would just shut this place down. They don't feel that mental health is important!? They actually said they don't treat a diagnosis. They treat symptoms. Maybe take the initiative to treat your patience PROPERLY and maybe your reviews wouldn't be so negative. I've been without meds for well over a month. I wish Wabash had a different facility to go to. I know I have no chance of ever getting better at Bowen but because I'm so desperate and hopeful I keep putting myself through this. The owner is more than welcome to contact me so I can fill him/her in on what's really going on inside that place

Genuinely one of the worst therapy places I've been to and I have multiple reasons why. 1. Their main psychologist, Dr. Ahmad, is a quack. He believes that ADHD is a disorder that can magically go away when you get… older. Also, he never listens when you tell him things and is awful when it comes to appointments. In office appointments are impossible to come by because he has so many patients and so little time. 2. That brings me to my next thing, Bowen Health doesn't have the faculty to deal with the amount of patients they have. People either are fired or QUIT at an alarming rate. 3. I have had so many different therapists with this service it's unreal. I always lose my therapists and it's no different here. I lost my last one because she was leaving and I left services! 4. They treat their staff like garbage. My skills coach, who will go unnamed, was treated like pure garbage and she eventually quit because of the horrible practices they do there, and she had dozens of clients who she had to tell she was leaving because of how awful Bowen is! 5. You will never get clear communication on your meds. I was supposed to be taking 30mg of a medication (one and a half pills) and they dropped it to 20mg (one pill) for absolutely no reason and did not tell me why. When I confronted them it was magically changed! Their Genoa also never gives out the right amount of medication either. Never go here if you care about your mental health! Their inpatient services are good but everything else is hot garbage. Steer clear! If I could give zero stars I would.

We have been going to Wabash Bowen for several years. With a few hiccups here and there, but we like our therapist, Psyc Dr. and Life skills coach. My grandson loves the Gals at the front desk !

I have went to bowen for years in Huntington and it was nothing but problems and issue after issue just trying to get mess refilled and doctors that never listened to your concerns or cared much so I was expecting the… same here. Boy was I wrong! Started coming here because I moved to wabash and I am beyond impressed with this Bowen. My psych practitioner was attentive and super informative and even asked me to ask her any question about her I wanted to know as an icebreaker which I thought was really cool. She informed me they now do primary care as well and I needed a new primary care as well and so glad I went here. The NP was nothing short of spectacular, friendly, caring, informative and super attentive to my health concerns. She addressed every single problem I had and listened intently instead of putting off my concerns like a lot of doctors normally seem to do. So happy with this bowen and never in my life would I have thought i would ever give a good review to a Bowen.

"a patient cured is a patient lost" Well, let's start by saying when I first signed up for Bowen I was told I had to come to "8 meetings" and then i would be done. Those were the stipulations I agreed to prior to… selecting this establishment. Come week 4 or 5, they told me there were additional "mandatory meetings", one for the doctor and one for the individual therapist. Which was fine at first. I was commuting from Kokomo which was sort of a lot, then by the time my 8 weeks were up I had moved to Lafayette, and I told them that it was too far to be feasibly visiting on a regular basis. Both the doctor and therapist tried to rope me into ongoing meetings and didn't really take into account life circumstances that it really doesn't make sense for me to continue these extra services. They said it was part of their policy which they should have told me about up front. Low and behold I can't graduate my 8 week program and have to come "indefinitely" until I get this mandatory "planning" done with the therapist so here I am sitting in Wabash, 70 miles from home on my NINTH MEETING. They don't seem to care about life circumstances they just want to rope you in and keep you coming. I don't have insurance and they don't care about that, I am a cash paying customer and honestly they haven't told me anything useful I didn't already know about myself. I'm just trying to finish services here to appease my PO, but they keep moving the goal post. Now they are saying typically people have to go to the therapy sessions throughout their entire probation term!!! Not to mention the first therapist I was assigned canceled 4x in a row and gave me a 9 digit call-back phone number to reschedule (um, unprofessional oops much?). I met a therapist for the first time this morning (my 9th week, the program was supposed to already be over with by now!) I never felt high priority to them when it comes to making my appointments and be seen to work out these mandatory extra plans I have to do, but they expect me to have to stay there for 8 months longer than they initially told me when I signed up?! Yeah that's not happening. I'm going to be having a discussion about alternative options with my PO because this is nonsensical. Very disturbing how they probably bait and switch people probably more vulnerable than I. There are better options out there!

Sine of these skill coaches are rude as hell. They are supposed to help but are terrible people sometimes.

Horrible!!! Hard to put into words how bad this place is. This is the worst mental health care I have ever experienced. If Cinnamon is still there stay away!! Thanks to the countless data breaches some of my most… private information is floating around somewhere. They don’t even deserve 1 star.

This place is horrible the nurses are incompetent and not compassionate at all there so called psychiatrists are a joke if anything run as fast as possible from this place and find a different medical facility cause… this place does nothing for you.

Yes all future appointments with Jennifer has been cancelled she and my exhusband's skills coach broke the HIPPA law and what I talk to Jennifer about does not need related back to his skills coach it's unethical and… you can lose your license for that and I found me another place for therapy who doesn't go against someone's confidentiality and relate everything that is said I can also sue I am dealing with your center anymore thank you.

This place is such a joke! They can't keep employees and when faced with an emergency it's been 5 days and still no call back with an appointment! Even after I've called repeatedly! Absolutely ridiculous!

I love the skills coaches that work with my family. It seems to be when I do come across an issue, I can't talk to a supervisor without being judged. When I started this service I was told that if I was not vibing with… someone they could give me someone knew, no questions asked, and there needs to be a location needs in kokomo, some of us don't drive

0 stars, this place shouldn't be a open, there is no communication skills, the staff and therapists are there on their own time, aka they are never there, they lie about funds, and its an all around terrible business,… not once have i ever heard good things about this place. i feel bad for the people who do go

This place is a joke. The staff is nice but even they don’t stick around. My son has had 3 therapists, 3 wrap-around facilitators, and now his psychiatrist is gone also. He’s out of meds and can’t be seen by a new… doctor for 2 months. If you need help and are hoping to find a doctor/therapist you can build a rapport with…don’t go here. They won’t last.

The Bowen Center support staff, nurses, counselors, and doctors do an excellent job. They are friendly, courteous, professional, and thorough. I have been treated at Bowen for over 10 years. All the negative reviews or… the majority of them are highly questionable in intent.

Just updating going without medicine is horrible and its even worse when you feel like the ppl answering your call don't care. We ve had some miscommunication but dr Smith is a very committed caring dr.

I've been with this place 3 months every single month it is mentally exhausting trying to get medication. Last month i no lie went 5 days without my opioid like medication. This month I had a appointment scheduled for… Thursday and when I called they said I wasn't scheduled for an appointment they were supposed to send some to the pharmacy but there is nothing there and I have no way to contact anybody until Monday. It makes me so angry that they give ppl this medicine that they count on then act indifferent when they go days without it. If I was still in the beginning of my recovery I would of relapsed the first and second month for sure I guess I will see how they deal with this months disaster on Monday. The dr does seem like a nice guy and like he genuinely wants to help ppl so hopefully we can get it worked out but everytime I get a chance to talk to him I've been so relived in finally getting my medicine I don't tell him how I really feel but this is ridiculous ppl count on having their medicine and are in extreme discomfort without it. There is definitely a lack of communication and if other people are being treated the same way I am that's just plain dangerous!!

My overall experience with Bowen Center has been amazing so far. Everyone I've talked to has done everything they can to try to put me through to the right person. The employees I've spoken to have all been extremely… helpful and very friendly. I'm very happy I've chosen to switch to Bowen. Only wish I would have done it sooner. They really seem to be on top of things and it's refreshing.

Weeks to get something scheduled and psychiatrist and some of the worst.

My Therapist Rhonda and Dr Dubey were both caring..patient and awesome.
