Parham Doctors Hospital – Henrico

Great experience all around.

Very attentive, friendly and thorough nurse and doctor care.

I found the people that took care of me warm, friendly and treated me like family.

I must say all of my nurses who took care of me were fantastic. They were warm and caring. The house doctor and my doctor were also wonderful. I appreciate you all.

Everyone was so kind. Very organized.

The doctor never touched me to listen to my lungs which were the problem. Neither him or the two nurses listened to my history or story of how or why I was there. The doctor gave me paperwork and the nurse rudely asked… why we were still there as I was waiting on a work note. I had been driven to the hospital in an ambulance and the work note was for the next day - like come on. I would not be ready to go back and he would not change it even as I described my line of work. While I understand this is the closest hospital to the jail, it felt very unsafe. There were people being dragged out in handcuffs, inmates being brought in, and the whole area was full of police. It felt very scary even if the police were armed. Will not return.

My visit to parham Doctor's Hospital was very satisfactory, from the time of registration to seeing the physician, all the staff was so friendly and helpful.

This was a bad experience, from beginning to end. Surgeon's office told me I would be going home, same day; surgeon demanded, before going into OR, that I stay overnight OR he would CANCEL my surgery. Told him I did NOT… come prepared to stay overnight. No room available for four hours and I just had to wait. Nurses were not at all attentive to the patient or their jobs. My hospital gown was soaked and I asked for a clean one and clean bed sheets at 5 p.m. However, no one brought them. I asked four different employees who agreed to bring them but no one brought them. Finally, at 11:30 p.m., while asleep, I was handed a clean gown, which I had to put on, by myself, while hooked up to two IV's. Not good. The bed never got changed. Was only allowed liquid diet, despite the surgeon telling me that I could have regular foods, the next day. However, NO ONE changed that determination in the "computer system". I was completely on my own. Then when it came time to leave, nurse complained that no one let her know I was leaving. Told her that surgeon had discharged me at 7:30 a.m. Her reply, "No one told me". She did NOT READ the ORDER nor got ANY paperwork ready, which caused me to LOSE my ride home. I NEVER want to go back to this place. My room was directly across from the nurses station but I got NO care. This was a deplorable lack of care.

You all put me through so much with an exception of Dr. Mary Hendricks and nurse Camille. Dr. Charles Cuttino told me word for word I have destroyed my own health. I do not believe any situation would negate that… saying. I went elsewhere and have been admitted since. Thank you Dr. Hendricks and Camille, but I do not recommend coming here for anything. -Bella Haas

Great. Everyone at the hospial is very nice and a pleasure to work with.

Dr. Kramer in the ED was absolutely wonderful. He made me feel comfortable, got right down to the point, and did everything that needed to be done. The ER staff was also very welcoming and caring.

I have had numerous operations here some outpatient and some I was admitted after the surgery. I have always encountered very nice and helpful staff and nurses. It has always been a pleasant experience

The nurses, doctors, and anesthesiologists were excellent, and they made me feel very comfortable before and after my procedure.

PT was very complete.
