Skagit Valley Hospital – Mount Vernon Detox and Rehab Services

Recorded services at Skagit Valley Hospital – Mount Vernon are residential treatment and intensive outpatient. Sessions follow a set timetable while people keep living at home. Which of these is appropriate depends on an assessment, not on what sounds manageable at the time.

The record does not show integrated provision, so confirm this if it matters. It is worth asking how many hours a week the program runs, because that decides whether it fits around everything else.

My Dad is admitted to this hospital and the progressive care unit has done a wonderful job at taking care of him. I live several states away and they have answered every one of my phone calls, have been empathetic and… informative, especially Barb, the receptionist for the floor. The ED receptionist helped answer questions well too. Nurses have given me updates and the cardiologist called me to inform me of the plan of care and answer my questions. I am very grateful he is in good hands and highly recommend Skagit Regional Hospital.

Waited for over an hour with what my primary later called a torn ligament in my neck for a doctor at that hospital to press three fingers into it and say it just needs a few days to heal my primary actually took scans… and found that it was indeed something to worry about bad service never using unless in life or death situation without a choice

Excellent pre op information. Easy check in and prep for the procedure. Made me quite comfortable. Both Anesthesiologist and surgeon covered the process well. Then it was over! Very friendly nurse in recuperation.… Couldn't have asked for more.

For the most part the nurses and other staff were very attentive to my needs, whatever ones I had. The nurses attended to my urination needs, Sea pap machine setup, DENTURES and brushing teeth, extra food needs and pain… medication needs.

It was a mixed stay. There were nurses and CNA’s that were so excellent and prompt that it made things so much easier and there were others that were so slow answering the call bell that I thought there must have been… something wrong with my call light.

Thank you to all the staff and care team that took care of me for surgery. Everyone we encountered was so kind, compassionate and went above and beyond. So worth the drive from Bellingham! I've heard from many people… who have experienced your service in the past but didn't truly get it until I became a patient. Hands down night and day difference in care. Thank you!!!

The nursing staff was so helpful and thoughtful from beginning to end. I have all the confidence in the world having Dr. Porter performing my surgeries. “There’s no place like Home” when waking up from such care.

Delivered by ambulance from oak harbor eygingwa. Time approx 130am .my bladder was at max level and pain was tremendous. Nurses took my info but made no attempt to help me. Only one Dr available and he was busy. After… an hour of begging for help I was able to get a male nurse to pay attention and listen to me. After explaining the surgery I had the day before at the Skagit operating room and I knew what was causing my inability to urinate. This male nurse went to find the one Dr to get permission to insert a foley and drain my bladder Bottom line one person in the whole er took the time to listen and act. I went through long incredible pain which was not necessary. Urology dept amazing ..ER not at all

I want to begin with a general compliment for the facility and staff at the Day Surgery Center as well as specifically the Urology team of Dr Rosenberg, the anesthesiologist, OR nurse and post op nurses Kristen and… Alyssa (sp?). Then last night we ended up in the ER at 1 am. Not so impressed with that visit. The nurses, except for one, were dismissive. My husband was in extreme excruciating pain. One RN, Aiden actually took the time to listen and take the initiative to help my husband out. He was a blessing to us last night.
