This is in regards to the new womens recovery facility. I strongly suggest that if you have other options to move on. First, the staff has zero clue what is going on from one minute to the other. Nothing is structured.… Staff does not communicate between each other and lie to residents regarding polices because they themselves dont know. The food was awful. The first night I was there was over cooked chicken breast with mixed mushy black beans and corn. Residents constantly fought over coffee creamer and everyday indulgence due to the lack of. If your hungry after meal times, hope you like PB&J and many times would be out of that. The facility during summer days is stifling because there is zero AC in group classrooms and resident quarters. If a medication is issued, they will tell you its mandatory to take regardless of a negative reaction you may have towards it. There is zero visitation in your 90 day stay and one phone to share among a full house of residents. You get one phone call a day after 4pm for up to twenty minutes which sounds doable if you can get on the list. Patients would sign up for the same time slot for the entire week making it impossible for anyone else to be able to make a call before 10pm when you are no longer able to make a call. The curriculum was boring and repetitive with nothing but packets that they rushed through. There is only 2 in house meetings a week and zero outside excursions. If your like me and need nightly meetings, this is not the place for you. Most group meetings eneded by 2:30-3:30 and even less on the weekends. There is way to much down time.
Hurting so bad so scared. All alone doing my best. And Deedee was very unsympathetic when I was doing my best and stressed scared to call trying so hard and just had no patience decency or understanding for someone… calling a place that’s suppose to help with this. The way these people behind the desk make u feel to call and get help I believe why do many don’t.
Never was given a chance to fix anything, two days after I signed a behavioral contract I was exited. I didn't choose to leave I didn't get kicked out because of drugs I didn't get kicked out because I was being a bad… parent my discharge papers said my room was messy and then I didn't turn in my homework folders from the weekends 88 however I did go to all my classes my children and I were thriving and becoming closer and I was becoming better at being a mommy we got accidents from the program my children are traumatized once again because they were supposed to be coming home with Mommy and I promise that they would I had no idea that I would be kicked out two days after I signed a behavioral contract something that could have been fixed something that my lawyers and my caseworkers could have gone over with me and figured out how to fix it instead of throwing me out and my kids going back to foster care when my kids have been with me every single day for the past 4 months waking up with me going to bed with me brushing our teeth doing bass everything that mommies and babies do and for nothing because they just took them and didn't even give us a chance to go home together after all the progress we made I can't believe that this treatment center just threw us out without letting us fix it no 5 stars there were a couple people that were nice there but I highly suggest going somewhere else because they throw people out like back-to-back-to-back-to-back without giving them any sort of notice they just take you over to the a building and separate you from everyone and your children like you've done something horribly wrong I'm a good mother and I went above and beyond to do this and to bring my kids home just to be there for months and then take that away from me for a dirty room fun that people can be when dealing with other people's lives
Trying to get information for my case worker for my dad and they said they can't release information to Linda. They didn't bother to ask a last name so that we could confirm that that is who to release the information.… Rod in the collection department is really lazy and just wants to be right instead of helpful. Sent me on a wild goose chase because he doesn't know how to do his job.
From when i was sent there in 2002 and it was Evergreen Manor.... Beware!!!!! If you are going to them because of some court appointed program such as i did where my now ex husband was the abuser. They wrote things in… their assessment that were 100% false. It reads as if my notes for assessment were mixed with someone else and then submitted to the court with me having no knowledge of what they wrote. I had a public defender who clearly dropped the ball as well, but i didnt find out any of this until i started the process for expungement 19 years later. When i tried to get some answers compared to what i had remembered of the process i was told they only keep records for 7 years. They couldnt tell me or show me any information that i went through, how many times i had been there for UA, the fees i paid, NOTHING is archived. This seems like a gross negligence especially for people like myself who were coming from an abusive relationship in the time it was going on suffering from PTSD and not a substance abuse problem. Again is you are going through them for court related things make sure your lawyer can and will be on your side with whatever they produce. Most things you cant file for expungement for 5 to 10 years on. So if they submit something wrong and it is not caught in that moment it can haunt you without your knowledge. Thus fostering a system where no one wants to believe you because they think you are an addict based off their words.
I can not believe that the counselors left the ladies in recovery to their own devices...no counseling no nothing but movies all because 1 employee said they had covid...these ladies in recovery were not your priority &… how many are back on the streets because you gave up
Had a pretty debilitating I.V heroin addiction, found my breaking point and just wanted health. Called evergreen recovery and had a bed within 24 hours. They make the withdrawal process as comfortable as possible… without actually using opioids. As far as success rates, well that depends on you. You get to sleep and eat all day until you have kicked the worst of the withdrawal process. Usually, you can be referred to an inpatient/outpatient treatment program as well, which from my experience is completely nessesary if you want to remain clean. If you are thinking about detoxing here, please just go for it. Don't think twice. Give it a shot. Get your freaking life back!
I was very grateful for the nurses and staff at evergreen detox. They were carrying, understanding, but most important they were non judgmental. I would not have made it through the dtox process without them. My room… was clean and comfortable. I could not comment on the food because i didn't eat much. I can say they make sure thee is plenty healthy snacks and lots of gatorade to stay hydrated.. I was there a few years ago and unfortunately i need to go back, but at least there is a place to go to.
The staff is kind and have patience. Be good to them and they are even better to you. This is detox people, it's not the 4 seasons hotel. If u want it that way, then spend $ getting that kind of treatment or vote for… more funding from the government to help the facilities that are trying to help addicts. They can only do so much with resources they have. Regardless....we're the addicts and no one to blame but ourselves and at least there are people out there trying to help us *which should be nothing more than appreciated! Thank you evergreen recovery
ERC is amazing! I am so grateful for all the caring staff, clinical and residential! My experience at ERC was life changing and I am nothing but grateful for the opportunity to have my children with me while I learn the… tools to provide the best life I can for myself and for my family! I highly recommend this place for any mom battling with addiction. The best part about ERC was the food 100%! Tasty and healthy meals I should have taken notes from the cook!!
Staff is very friendly. They need updated lists for the family's who purchase items for their patients. It's a multiple building facility. So more detailed signs would be helpful. Easy access.
All I know is that the legacy lodge in Mt Vernon is awesome but it is almost sad going to this dump IOP after a great inpatient program and experience at the legacy lodge. It's like comparing apples and oranges when it… comes to the professionalism and quality of care when comparing them. Its unbelievable they are run by the same company. All I can say is Evergreen IOP is a nightmare in all works. Switched to Cathlic community Services. Much better IOP.
I personally loved this facility. The staff that worked there when I went in 2015 we're amazing! I have almost 4 years clean, have all my kids and a home. They don't take any BS so if you are serious about your recovery… then this is the perfect place. If not the stay will probably not be very plesent.
I have been involved with this facility for several years now. I'm not proud to say i have been there 16 times. nearly every time but a few I allowed myself to fail because i was so broken & felt i wasn't worthy of a… good life.Myself of all people can say i have never experienced even 1 bad staff member..whenever a situation did arise it was all my own doing. Us as clients need to remember that they are human. and just because we feel like were gonna die doesn't give us the right to be disrespectful, demanding and mean. All the staff there are great. they didnt put us there we got our lives screwed up all on our own. So try & show some compassion to these ladies because they really do care, They believe in us when we dont believe in our selves. I would recommend this place to anybody
The staff. The rooms. The food. The BATH TUB. I was so shocked by how nice it is! All these 1 star ratings blow my mind. Clearly these people have no clue what a bad facility actually is.. Try going to Tacoma detox...… Evergreen is a 5 star hotel compared to Tacoma. If you are needing a safe & comfortable place to detox, I truly recommend evergreen. Best place i will ever find with state insurance. So greatful they are letting me come back.
A family member went to the facility in Monroe. It Is a nice building and location. The family member is in an abusive relationship which causes them to relapse but despite being told that and witnessing it for… themselves, the staff never addressed it or gave any help. One staff member is very judgmental and scolded someone who returned after a relapse. People should be encouraged to return to treatment. It is not a sign of weakness and they should know that.
Horrible about helping people, actually were of no help at all and made things a lot worse for me. I was seeking help with detox waited all week to head there from Skagit Valley about a 2 hour drive, only to have a… voice mail saying that they don't have a bed now and that someone stayed, so I was halfway there with family already going out if their way to take me. Good thing I didn't pay for a bus ticket like I almost did. They would have really had me stuck in an awful situation. They said call the other location absolutely zero help and even worse of a waiting list to get help. They have no resources when they mess things up for you to help and are unorganized and unprofessional. And were rude. I wish I had read the reviews because I am apparently not the only person who's had a bad impression of them. You'd think they would have an option for you when you've waited for this and they say well sorry. Obviously they aren't out to help anyone just there for a paycheck. They put me on hold several times and weren't even listening to me when I called, they were literally talking to other staff interrupted me to have a conversation with someone else, like oh sorry what were u saying? They are not caring or concerned about helping anyone and that's clear. I would call around because they will give u the run around and it looks like I'm blessed because I'm going somewhere that will actually help me. I don't see how they stay opened with such awful treatment and uncaring staff. Zero stars!
I loved evergreen recovery center, when i went in for 5 days to detox off off alcohol, all the staff were very attentive and friendly. I didnt wanna leave
Failed to care for my diabetes correctly. Wrongfully kicked me out for being "suicidal" and said I could not be cared for when no one tired to calm me down, from mood swings common from detox, begged to finish my last 2… days, no chance. Lied to medical staff of threats to assault staff at evergreen. Completely run down building food is inedible. All I want is to get clean. Stay away from this place if you need guidance in your sobriety. Absolutely horrid
My son was kick out after 3 days not another chance not getting a call to calm him down. He really wants to be clean. Very dissapointed at the staff who is trained to manage patients w addiction and behavioral health.
My son adult son checked himself in for detox. He was there for 5 days. Treated super. Every time I called to check on him was treated with the utmost respect. Big hugs for Kevin who checked him in and helped and to… Rosemary. He came out with a smile on his face. The only complaint I heard was the about the food. He also left with no balance of Money!
